Description
The lower flat occupies the entire ground floor of the Gründerzeit house and has open living areas that run in a circle. After the large entrance area with cloakroom and info materials, you enter through a door on the left into the dining room, from there (sliding glass door) into the large kitchen, on into the living room and from there on the right into the bedroom with attached bathroom (ground-level shower). From the bedroom there is another door into the hallway. The flat is individually and lovingly furnished in a mix of styles, with a 160 cm wide double bed with 2 new mattresses on adjustable slatted frames in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the dining room that can serve as an extra bed (140 cm). From there, a patio door leads to the outside sitting area in the spacious, leafy and privacy-protected courtyard, which is closed off to the outside with a small gate . The TV hangs in the opening between the living room and bedroom, so it can be used from both sides. The spacious fitted kitchen has a large fridge with freezer compartment, a new cooker with oven, dishwasher, microwave and all the usual kitchen appliances, storage space is plentiful. A sliding glass door separates the dining room. There is plenty of storage space in the cupboard next to the dining table with 4 chairs. The large couch can be converted into an extra bed for 2 people. All rooms except the bathroom and hallway (tiled floors) have beautiful old wooden floorboards

After the staircase with a small hall cloakroom, you enter the living room through a door on the left, from there into the large kitchen, on to the dining room, from there into the bedroom and again into the hallway and bathroom. The flat is individually and lovingly furnished in a mix of styles, with a 180 cm wide double bed on adjustable slatted frames in the bedroom and a couch in the dining room that can be used as an extra bed. The spacious fitted kitchen with large fridge-freezer, cooker with oven and dishwasher at working height, microwave and all the usual kitchen appliances and plenty of storage space has a large window overlooking the leafy courtyard. The large, covered balcony (accessible from the living room) offers a nice use as an outdoor seating area. All rooms except the bathroom (tiled floors) and the kitchen (PVC) have beautiful old wooden floorboards. An additional bedroom on the 2nd floor offers space for 2 more persons if needed

The house is situated in a small one-way road in downtown Niederbreisig, only 3 minutes' walk from the thermal bath "Römerthermen". Shops and restaurants are at foot distance, Bad Breisig's Rhine front with all its restaurants is within 10 minutes' walk. Check-in from , Check-out till Coming from B9 take road to Oberbreisig, turn left at farmacy Quellen-Apotheke into Backesgasse. Coming from A61 go until end of Arweg (farmacy Quellen-Apotheke) and turn right into Backesgasse. Our house is on the left.

Beautiful holiday week
Helpful landlady, clean flat in central location, everything available,
nice quiet outdoor seating area. We enjoyed long walks along the Rhine
and often used the beautiful dog meadow above Bad Breisig.

Really beautiful vacation apartment
We were in the apartment on the ground floor. The warm wooden floor, the lovingly composed fabrics, furniture, colors: simply feel-good! Beautiful hiking trails almost in front of the house, without having to take the bus or anything else. The mountain (or hill!) to the right of the house: Auf dem Hahn. From there a beautiful view of the Rhine, most beautiful shortly before and after sunset...

We (my wife and I) decided on short notice to book for Ascension Day after RP released the vacation rentals. Easy communication with the landlords. 4-day short vacation was a complete success. Very clean and lovingly furnished apartment. Plenty of space. Small garden with barbecue in the courtyard, unfortunately not used due to rain. Very nice landlords. Very important for us that the apartment is centrally located with a bakery within walking distance and the Rhine promenade also nearby, and above all very quiet. An ideal place for excursions and hiking in the surrounding area (Ahrtal, Vulkaneifel). Thanks to the included train ticket, it was also possible to use public transport for free, which we used twice. We would love to come back.
