We were there with the family over the weekend. The apartment is very well equipped, so we didn't miss anything. Everything was super clean and the beds are great too. The Herdlitschke family welcomed us very kindly. The contact beforehand was very straightforward.

Clean, good location, great hosts - perfect!

We were in the vacation apartment over Easter. This is a former hotel where an entire corridor was combined into one apartment. As a group, it was great. Each room has its own toilet, so you don't get in each other's way at all. The furnishings were also excellent. The kitchen, for example, left nothing to be desired. And everything was extremely clean. Plus, there is a huge, very nice balcony and a beautiful garden.

Moreover, the hosts are very warm and super friendly. And very accommodating. We had kayaks with us that we didn't want to leave on the cars by the road. So they offered us their own garage to store the cars. On the last day, there was also an invitation for coffee. We had to decline that with a heavy heart due to lack of time. But then we each received a bottle of water for the road.

The area itself is also a dream. Ideal for hiking, the holiday apartment is located in the middle of a great forest area. A small supermarket is directly opposite. Cycling, paddling, and sightseeing are also possible. Additionally, there is a room with a table tennis table in the house for rainy days.

All in all, we would love to come back.

Three Beautiful Weeks

The holiday home Eidens is located in a quiet suburb. At the end of the street, the forest begins. The wooden house is not spacious, but efficiently and comfortably furnished. There is plenty of storage space in the bedrooms. The kitchen is very well equipped, but outside of the refrigerator, there is little space for food, etc. We stored supplies in one of the bedrooms. The modern bathroom is small but complete. A second shower and toilet are located in the (cold) basement area, accessible via an outdoor staircase.
In warm weather, one can sit wonderfully under the apple tree on the large lawn behind the house.
The contact person on site was very helpful when we had questions.
In Bodenwerder, there are several supermarkets. A good bakery is nearby. In the area, there is a large number of marked hiking trails and there are several attractions in the vicinity (visit Hameln!). We really enjoyed the Weserbergland.
