The centre of Hann. Münden with a very beautiful old town (Weser Renaissance) is 12 km away and can be reached very quickly by inline skating, bicycle or car. Hessen's largest contiguous forest area invites you to go hiking and cycling. The Sababurg (Grimm's fairytale castle) is also very close. Culturally, Kassel offers everything your heart desires with Wilhelmshöhe Palace, theatre and cinema. The city tours in Hann. Münden and the weekly market with friendly people in the wonderful old town convey the best holiday feeling. The romantic accommodation is ideally suited for families.

Great vacation home.
We spent a weekend with 5 adults in the holiday home Zaubernuss. Although we decided on it quite short notice, the landlord made it possible for us to arrive. The house is beautifully situated. The design of the garden, the stream and the equipment in the house leave nothing to be desired. Everything is available that you need. The landlord and the lady who takes care of the house on site are very nice and friendly and strive to ensure that everything runs smoothly. We liked it very much and can absolutely recommend the holiday home.

Relaxing long weekend
We spent a very nice long weekend. The house is idyllically located in the middle of the greenery and you can listen to nature wonderfully. In the evenings, we loved to hear the babbling brook that flows through the property
We found everything we needed in the house
We went on several excursions during the days:
- Day in Kassel with a visit to the Karlsaue state park
- Visit to the Sababurg Zoo
- Visit to Hann. Münden and evening stop with ferry ride in the beer garden in Hameln
We definitely plan to come back. Then we will take our bicycles with us and would like to go on smaller day trips along the Weser

Wanderurlaub
Sehr nette Unterkunft. Die Bäder und die Sauna ist sehr modern. Die Küche war nicht ganz so sauber aber ok. Die Umgebung ist sehr ländlich also optimal zum Wandern.
Der Bach direkt am Haus verleiht ein schönes Ambiente.

Fabulous
This is the third time we have enjoyed this truly enchanting retreat, and once again we felt at home from the very first moment. The first time we were "blessed" with bad weather, we can now unreservedly recommend the house in every season (keyword sauna!). Our three children were also thrilled again and definitely want to come back! Many thanks to the Dettmering family and the lovely manager Mrs Grebe!

Haus Zaubernuss is een zeer mooi vakantiehuis. Het huis is rustig gelegen in een mooie omgeving en heeft een prachtige tuin, wat ideaal was voor onze hond. Het huis is groot, schoon en zeer compleet. De ontvangst was zeer vriendelijk.
We hebben een hele mooie tijd gehad, veel gewandeld en genoten van de eekhoorntjes in de tuin. We komen hier zeker nog een keer terug!! Familie Dettmering, bedankt voor jullie gastvrijheid!

Entspannter Natururlaub
Wir haben zu zweit mit Hund zwei Wochen Urlaub im Haus "Zaubernuss" verbracht und uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Haus hat Charakter und ist mit schönen alten Möbeln und Holzdielen ausgestattet, gleichzeitig mit modernen Bädern und einer gut ausgestatteten Küche sowie modernen Medientechnik bis hin zu W-LAN. Außerdem ist viel Platz innen wie außen, ein plätschernder Bach erfreut Mensch und Hund an heißen Tagen. Man sollte ganz gut zu Fuß sein, da einige Treppen innen wie außen zu bewältigen sind. Das macht aber gerade den Charme des Hauses aus, und dafür hat man hier einen guten Ausgangspunkt für Spaziergänge und auch größere Wanderungen direkt ab Unterkunft. Gerne mal wieder!
