Every year, as fathers, we leave a weekend. This time in the beautiful stay until then. Upon arrival we found the owner, a hand could not get rid of it unfortunately. Because we were well educated, we still arranged nicely. The lady in question had counted on a group of women, no problem for us, apparently for the owner. We did not get a very warm welcome. The house is nice, for 8 people it is small in the living room. The whole is right next to the house of the owners. In itself no problem, but we could jointly difficult to lose the cars between the parked cars of the owners' visit. The weekend was fine, nice rooms and nice beds! That may also be said. The garden was reasonable, in relation to the owners small. All in all until then fine. Unfortunately, the owner found it necessary to unannounced the hired part of us to enter. Inadequate and amicable, he holds a glass of chemicals, which were intended for the jacuzzi, with one of our gentlemen with the remark open your mouth. We were all surprised and displeased that this could happen just like that. This unexpected and tasteless joke has led us to decide never to choose this holiday home again. When you spend 800 euros on a holiday home per weekend, you can best expect that what you rent is also yours and that you are treated and received with some decency.

The town of Ootmarsum is considered a true open-air museum of old Twente heritage. Delden is known as the pearl of Twente with its castle parks, manor houses, and mills. Vlisteren is also worth a visit, where all houses belong to the impressive castle. In Deventer, you can visit the interesting Historical Museum to trace the city's exciting history.
