First of all, very nice contact with the landlord. The holiday home is very well equipped with everything you need. The highlight is of course the sauna and the whirlpool which brings pure relaxation. Upon arrival, there was also a guest gift, which is hardly done nowadays.
Thank you very much for the lovely stay.

We really enjoyed our vacation in this holiday home. The landlords were extremely friendly, warm, and helpful, so we felt very welcome from the very beginning.
The holiday home is cozy and beautifully located. The house and the garden are very well maintained and designed with great attention to detail. We particularly liked the beautiful garden, which we could use wonderfully and spend relaxing hours in.
Another big plus is the great location. The nearby lake invites swimming and relaxation and is quickly accessible. Shopping opportunities and everything needed for daily necessities are also nearby.
We particularly liked that bicycles were provided to us. With them, we could explore the surroundings easily and take many nice trips in the nearby area.
Overall, we had a very nice and relaxing time. Once again, a heartfelt thank you to the landlords for the friendly and uncomplicated hospitality. We felt very comfortable and would gladly come back.

Havelland in the state of Brandenburg has suitable attractions for every season. In the warm months, the many lakes and the Havel in the holiday region invite you to go boating, diving, fishing, surfing, and swimming. If you want to take a trip to the Spreewald during your stay in a vacation apartment or holiday home, the summer months are also a good time. On the 970 km long network of waterways, you can admire the unique landscape from a different perspective. But also hiking and biking trails lead you through the mystical Spreewald. The cold season in the region lets you forget everyday stress and is balm for the soul. Your vacation by the lake in Havelland becomes especially beautiful in one of the cozy vacation apartments or in a picturesque holiday home in a quiet location. In autumn, you are welcomed here by colorful forests, calm and quiet lakes, such as Schwielowsee and Gülper See, romantic old towns, and many historical sights and museums. Some holiday homes in Havelland by the lake have a fireplace, allowing you to stylishly end an eventful day in front of the crackling fire. Hardly any path bypasses the state capital Potsdam. The former residence city of the Prussian kings, located in the immediate vicinity of Berlin, is home to a multitude of impressive parks and palaces. In 1990, the entire ensemble was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Winter in Havelland means peace and relaxation, which you can enjoy during winter walks through the landscape. A very special experience in winter is the husky farm in Frankendorf near Neuruppin. Here, you can drive through Brandenburg with your own husky sled.
During your vacation in Havelland, a paradise for nature lovers and water enthusiasts awaits you. At the idyllic lakes and the Havel, you can enjoy the beautiful landscape and relax. If you rent a vacation apartment in the cities of Rathenow and Potsdam, you will encounter numerous historical sights. One of the landmarks here is Sanssouci Palace, which was built between 1745 and 1747 in the Rococo style. In the extensive park, you can stroll wonderfully and admire the beautiful flowers and plants. In the Havelland holiday region, landlords warmly welcome you and your family. Whether a house with a garden or a cozy apartment, Brandenburg offers you a varied vacation. Simply book a holiday accommodation, for example in Brieselang, Döberitz, Ribbeck, or Ferchesar, or a comfortable apartment with a terrace and directly on the water for a holiday according to your personal wishes and enjoy the dream of a relaxing journey in the nature park.
For a family-friendly vacation with a dog in Havelland, the area around Gollenberg is very suitable. Following the footsteps of the aviation pioneer Otto Lilienthal in the heart of the place, you reach the Gollenberg through the landscape park. At the top of the hill, at Lilienthal's launch site, the "Windharfe" monument towers into the sky. On the northern slope of the Gollenberg, you will encounter the IL 62 airplane with the Interflug exhibition. The Ruppiner Land in the northwest of the state of Brandenburg invites you and your family to extensive bike rides, canoe trips, and hikes. The region is one of the most beautiful European water sports areas. In the midst of the Fürstenberg & Rheinsberg lake chain is the Großer Stechlinsee, which, with a depth of 68 meters, is Brandenburg's deepest clear water lake. If the weather doesn't cooperate during your vacation, you can take your family on a trip to one of the many fun, leisure, and adventure pools. A very popular excursion destination in the idyllic Havelland is the Storchenhof adventure farm in Paretz. Here, many animals and play options provide beautiful hours. While your children play and romp, you can strengthen yourself in the stable cafe. Every year in spring, storks take up residence in their nest on the farm and stay until August. Also, take trips to the Fläming, West Havelland, or Caputh or hike through the area.
The cuisine of Havelland is very tasty and down-to-earth. In addition to many fish and meat dishes, Brandenburg is famous for its delicious asparagus. Also very popular is the Wrukeneintopf, which consists of vegetables, a meat component, and turnips. A delicious specialty from the Uckermark is Kloppschinken, which looks like a schnitzel but is made of breaded smoked or cooked ham and is soaked in milk for several hours to desalt. In the Prignitz region, Knieperkohl is a national dish. It is a sour vegetable similar to sauerkraut. It contains blue stem cabbage, white cabbage, sometimes also red cabbage leaves, kale, and grape and cherry leaves. The Jägerschnitzel in Brandenburg is usually a thick slice of beer ham or hunting sausage, served with a sauce made of tomatoes and onions. As a side dish, there is potato salad, potatoes, French fries, croquettes, noodles, or mashed potatoes. Due to the many lakes, the range of local freshwater fish is very large. In the Spreewald, there is hardly a restaurant that does not offer fish. The most popular fish include pike-perch, pike, and catfish. All private vacation apartments and holiday homes are equipped with a fully equipped kitchen, so you can spoil your loved ones with a delicious menu from the region. Enjoy a dinner in the garden of your holiday accommodation and dine under the "pear tree" like Mr. Ribbeck.
The city area of Brandenburg an der Havel is home to a diverse forest and lake landscape. Among the most popular historical attractions is the Brandenburg Cathedral. The history of Brandenburg an der Havel goes back over a thousand years and has left clear traces. In the three city centers, the New Town, the Old Town, and the Cathedral Island, imposing sacred buildings dominate. The churches of St. Gotthardt and St. Katharinen, the Paulikloster, and the Cathedral of St. Peter tower over medieval quarters. Well-signposted circular routes lead you along the most beautiful sights. Industrial monuments, museums, castles, and fortresses: During a stay in a vacation apartment or holiday home in Havelland in Brandenburg, exciting stories are on the agenda. The cultural landscape is perfect for artistic pleasures such as theater performances, concerts, and operas against a breathtaking backdrop. In Brandenburg's studios and galleries, you can experience contemporary art from sculpture to painting. If you spend your vacation in accommodation in the city of Rathenow, a vineyard with the monumental Bismarck Tower and the Optikpark await you. The two regions are connected by the 348-meter-long Weinberg Bridge. Falkensee is located on the outskirts of Berlin and forms the gateway to Havelland. If you rent a vacation apartment or holiday home here, you have the opportunity to combine the vibrant city life of Berlin with the peaceful country life in Brandenburg.
You can easily and quickly reach your vacation apartment or private holiday home by car. If you are traveling from Hannover, you can take the A2 motorway to your accommodation. Coming from Rostock and Hamburg, you can connect to the A10 (Berliner-Ring) via the A24. From the greater Halle/Leipzig and Munich area, take the A9 to Havelland. The nearest airports are located in Berlin-Tegel and Berlin-Schönefeld. From here, you can reach your private vacation apartment or affordable holiday home by public transport. Book a comfortable holiday accommodation or an apartment with a terrace and directly on the water according to your personal wishes, for example in Döberitz, Brieselang, Ribbeck, or Ferchesar, and spend unforgettable holidays in the nature park and its surroundings. The dream of a relaxing journey comes true!
