Holiday home in Rathenow: Directly on the Havel, ideal for water, cycling, and nature enthusiasts.
The house is located in a picturesque rural settlement of scattered weekend and holiday homes in private ownership and is ideal for relaxing walks and bike tours. The Havel Cycle Path runs in the immediate vicinity and invites you to go exploring.
Worthwhile excursion destinations are the towns of Havelberg, Tangermünde, Brandenburg, or Potsdam. You can easily reach our capital Berlin by train from Brandenburg in just over 1 hour. Shopping facilities can be found about 5 minutes away by car; a cinema, restaurants, and medical care are available in the town of Rathenow and the surrounding area.
Wolzensee with its lido is about 5 km away and can be easily reached by bicycle. By boat, you are on the main Havel from the jetty in 400 m; the side arms of the Havel are perfect for relaxing paddling tours.

A small paradise in Havelland
Arriving and truly feeling welcome, many nice and loving details in and around the house, a blooming and fragrant garden, numerous opportunities to relax and engage, what more could one want? Vacation can be so wonderful...

Simply dreamy
Actually, one doesn't really want to share this insider tip!
We had a wonderful vacation here by the Havel and can truly recommend this accommodation from the heart. Although, to be honest, we are considering whether we should even do that… ? Because actually, one would prefer to keep this great holiday home to oneself and would love to come back here every year!
From the very first moment, everything just fit perfectly. The holiday home was super clean, cozy, and furnished with incredible attention to detail. You can immediately tell that the hosts consider what guests might need. Everything was really available – from various hygiene items to spare toothbrushes. Even small things were thought of that you wouldn't have expected at all. Everything was lovingly prepared and packaged.
For us as anglers, the accommodation was of course an absolute highlight. There were even fishing items available that we didn't need at all, but that alone shows how much thought is given to the guests here.
And the fishing itself was absolutely amazing! We were able to catch beautiful pike and really nice perch. Plus, the dreamlike location right by the water – as an angler, you couldn't wish for more.
But even away from fishing, it was never boring. We went boating, canoeing, and were out on bicycles. The bicycles were also great and everything just fit perfectly.
And then of course the hosts: very, very lovely people, friendly, helpful, and warm. You don't feel like just any vacation guest here, but truly welcome.
Thank you very much for this wonderful time! We will definitely be very happy to come back – and hopefully again with a few nice pike and perch in tow. ? ❤️

Havel Paradise Rathenow
We were warmly welcomed by our landlords in Havelparadies. They were very helpful and available at any time. The small holiday home is newly renovated and very lovingly and tastefully furnished. We lacked for nothing. The garden with access to the Havel is wonderful, and one can immediately enjoy the glorious tranquility of the river landscape. Great that boats and bicycles are available. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to make use of everything, but we would be very happy to come back. Those who want to take a trip to the capital can park their car for free at the Rathenow train station and can relax, without changing trains, in just under an hour by train to Berlin. Fam. Holiday home lovingly prepared in an idyllic area
We are three (2 adults + 13-year-old child) who moved into a newly renovated holiday home for 1 week. On the day of arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the landlords. They showed us everything, the property and the house (bungalow). The holiday home is very lovingly and cozily furnished, nothing was missing. Many small details were considered, such as, for example. sufficient light sources including motion detectors in the house - for nighttime toilet trips :), a laundry basket, plenty of dishes/glasses. The bathroom with a very nice large walk-in shower, as well as a basket with small hygiene items, in case one forgets, for example, the toothpaste at home. Welcome drinks were also there. Bedroom top with plenty of pillows (large and small). Outside, there is a beautiful solar shower, and there are 2 seating areas by the house, a smaller one and a larger one with a nice big dining table, which invites you to eat outside under a roof. The outdoor kitchen is ideal for processing any caught fish.
The garden features a large lawn where you can relax in a deck chair or in a beach chair. After consultation with the family. Wendt allowed us to set up a small tent where our child could also spend the night.
Boredom did not arise for us this week; there were plenty of leisure activities included, e.g., 2 kayaks (each single), a rowboat—additionally, there is the option to rent a motor if desired. Our child also had a lot of fun with 1 stand-up paddle, darts/table tennis can be played, fishing + equipment for hobby anglers are available. We brought our own bicycles, which we could store in the bicycle garage. The property is located directly on a branch of the Havel. The holiday accommodation is ideal for nature lovers and children also have their fun! We can recommend this with a clear conscience.
