Historically part of the cultural region of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, it is the largest municipality in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, covering an area of about 200 km². If you are traveling by car to your private apartment or holiday home, we recommend taking the route via the B96 and B198. By train, you can start your vacation relaxed: From Neustrelitz main station, you can reach Feldberg every two hours by bus line 619. Neustrelitz is accessible via the Berlin-Stralsund and Berlin-Rostock routes. Between June and August, there is also a bus connection twice a day between Carwitz and Feldberg. The nearby Müritz can also be easily reached by bus from the Naturpark Feldberger Seenlandschaft.
