The ensemble includes the Old Castle, the New Castle, the so-called Rentmeisterei, and the town's Evangelical parish church. The Old Castle dates back to the 16th century, the New Castle to the end of the 18th century. The church building with a defensive tower dates from the 15th century. The Rentmeisterei is the former town hall from 1804. Today, the Villa Lien houses the Bad König spa clinic. The house is a remarkable example of Historicism architecture. Baroque style elements are found in the facade, as well as a curved gable and a "Welscher Haube" on the corner tower of the villa. The spa park also has much to discover: ten sandstone sculptures by various sculptors, three sundials, and a three-kilometer-long planetary path that explains the constellation of our solar system. Outside the town, there is a Romanesque cemetery chapel. The church from 1514 is the oldest building here, inside which wall paintings from the 14th century were discovered a few years ago.
