Stay in August 2022 with 4 adults good beds, location in the woods in a charming environment, accessible via the main road, restaurant and café are just around the corner, unfortunately only ZDF and slow Wi-Fi (no home office possible), very dark inside! Upholstery of the seating furniture stained and windows were dirty (rest very clean!) ) great terrace with comfortable furniture for up to 5 people, a bit lacking in storage space) induction stove with worn-out pans, water meter in the external shaft full of leaves (difficult to read) there were missing operating instructions for, e.g., ovens and too few towel holders and coffee spoons, nevertheless a recommendable house where we had a great vacation.

The house is bright and friendly designed, / The layout is well arranged, / It gives a cozy impression, / Well suitable for 4 people, / A maximum of 6 people could find a sleeping place (two of them rather provisionally in the open alcove in the living room), but no more, / The kitchen has a modern stove with oven, / In the living room, there is a large, internet-capable modern TV that, however, cannot play DVDs (as stated in the house description), / In the small bathroom, there is a whirlpool and a small sauna for 2 people, which we did not use, / A washing machine is also available, / / We particularly liked the location with walking distance to the really beautiful sandy beach at Sejrøbugt, it takes only about 5 minutes, but you have to cross a busy country road, / The surrounding area offers various opportunities for active holidays in nature (beautiful hiking tours in varied landscapes, cycling, kayaking, etc.), but is not very touristically developed (which we liked!). The house has a good starting point to explore the Odsherred region. However, there were also some criticisms about the house: You can tell that the house is only rented out to others and not used by the owners themselves. There are three bedrooms with a total of 4 beds. In one room, there is a desk and a small sofa, but you cannot sleep on it. It is not suitable as a sleeping space for adults. While it could be folded out, there isn’t enough space in the tiny room for that, and the sleeping area consists of a rock-hard particle board in one section. Not a sofa bed! ! ! / We then maneuvered one bed out of the second bedroom and swapped it with the sofa so that we could actually use the three bedrooms as such, complicated furniture moving operation,,, / The first room is otherwise not usable as a bedroom, / Unfavorably resolved! ! ! / - The foam cushions in the alcove in the living room are worn out, frayed, unhygienic, and in urgent need of replacement! / The mattress toppers on the other beds are also stained, quite old, and could definitely use replacing! / - The terrace furniture is rather careless and very simple. There is a stack of the most basic plastic chairs with tiny, worn-out cushions in the shed and only a single deck chair, which also had a broken armrest. For a house where 4-6 adults are supposed to stay, this is a testament to poverty given the high price demanded for the house! - In the kitchen, we were missing a tray (we then used a baking sheet...) and a juice/water jug, / Also, pot holders were missing, / The kitchen knife set is very limited and dull, / There was no bread knife, / The dishes were partially chipped (happens) and not exactly abundant for up to 6 people, At least glasses, / Trash bags etc. have to be brought by yourself, / - When we arrived, there wasn't even a single roll of toilet paper hanging in the bathroom! I found that a cheekiness regarding the house price! Not everyone has toilet paper readily available upon arrival,,, / So: Bring everything yourself: toilet paper, garbage bags, baking paper, decent kitchen knives, potholders, dish towels, dishwasher tabs,,, / - Upon our arrival, the hot water heater was turned off,,, / So there was only cold water for showering until we found the mistake and gradually worked out the right setting (the instructions were unfortunately only in Danish,,,) / - The boules court in the garden is in a very neglected condition (more like a gravel path with weeds,,,) / - You can clearly hear the traffic noise from the heavily trafficked main road that runs about 50m away from the holiday home area, / Overall, too high a price is being charged for what is otherwise actually a nice house, / More could be made of it easily,

The house was bright, well equipped, clean and well maintained, It was set in a large well-kept garden with several choices of seating area, Garden activities were provided, It is in a quiet summerhouse area and is very close to the sea, which was shallow and safe for bathing
