Those seeking peace and relaxation are exactly right here. For us, it was wonderfully beautiful. Enjoying the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening. The area invited evening walks. We would gladly come back. The Klee family are wonderful landlords. We are still amazed by the view. Warm regards, the Funk family.

Perfectly successful vacation with dog – relaxation, enjoyment & experiences

We spent a completely relaxing vacation with our dogs from August 1 to August 11, 2025 – directly by the dike and in a pleasantly quiet location. Those seeking relaxation, nature, and extensive walks are exactly right here. The area is wonderfully calming, and our four-legged friends felt just as comfortable as we did.

The communication with the hosts was great from the beginning – friendly, quick, and straightforward. Everything on-site also worked smoothly and very quickly. The house itself is cozily furnished and offers everything needed for a relaxing stay. A small downside was that it was quite dark in the living area and the kitchen. This was probably due to the two trees directly in front of the windows, which block a lot of light. However, this did not detract from the relaxation. Just a few meters away is a restaurant where we have eaten very deliciously several times – really practical when you don't want to walk far in the evening.

The surroundings also offer some nice excursion options. We particularly recommend a walk from Burhave to Fedderwardersiel – a beautiful route directly along the water. The harbor in Fedderwardersiel is a great destination with maritime flair, small shops, and fresh fish. Also worth visiting are trips to Tossens with the Frisian beach and to Burhave itself, where there is a nice beach access and the play barn. The latter is especially a real highlight for families with children – plenty of space to romp and play in any weather.

Overall, it was a very nice and relaxing vacation that we would like to remember. We would love to come back!

A very great vacation

We were already there for the third time in the holiday village, but this house from the Welteroth family has exceeded everything!! From cleanliness, equipment to service, everything was great! So much attention to detail! We felt comfortable immediately!
