Detached, cosy holiday home for 4 persons with approx. 55 sqm living space for rent. 2 minutes walk to the North Sea, 3 minutes walk to the bathing lake.
Rental in the Easter, summer and autumn holidays only by the week from Saturday - Saturday. In the low season other rental times are possible on request.
No pets. Non-smoking house.

Other:
- Arrival always on Saturdays from 3 p.m., departure always on Saturdays until 10 a.m
- Only weekly renting in the high season
- in low season also by the day (min. 3 days), < 6 days final cleaning extra
- in the low season possible extra charges
- Bed linen (inlets) available, please bring your own bed linen, towels and tea towels
Free extras:
- large lake with swimming pontoon
- 500 sqm sandy lawn directly at the lake (3 minutes on foot)
- Children's playground (3 minutes on foot)
- 1000 sqm playground: Beach volleyball and badminton court, basketball hoop, football pitch, sandpit, swing (5 minutes on foot)
When booking (booking confirmation) a deposit of 30% of the total rental price is due by bank transfer within 7 days. Only after receipt of your deposit by the landlord the rental contract comes into force. Please transfer the remaining amount to our account at the latest 4 weeks before arrival.
Cancellation of rental (cancellation fees):
- up to 4 weeks before arrival: 30% of the total rent without visitor's tax
- up to 1 week before arrival: 80% of the total rent without visitor's tax
Thereafter, the entire rental price without visitor's tax is due.
Please take out travel cancellation insurance in your own interest.
However, you are welcome to name a substitute tenant free of charge.

Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday home is located on the green peninsula of Butjadingen in the holiday village Eckwarederhörne directly behind the dyke and offers a lot of fun for a short holiday or family holiday at the North Sea. Butjadingen with its incomparable sea air and its extensive cycling and hiking paths offers excellent opportunities for recovery, especially for allergy sufferers. The largest peninsula in the North is criss-crossed by several 100 km of well-signposted cycle paths. Here it is a good idea to explore the green peninsula by bicycle or e-bike (bicycle rental in 50 m). The surrounding area invites you to interesting excursions
The beach, an inland lake and a children's playground in the holiday village or the 1000 sqm playground offer enough opportunities to enjoy your time with us
The lido can be reached after a short walk. From here it is only a few metres to the starting point for exciting hours at the North Sea - the ferry terminal in Eckwarderhörne. A trip to Wilhelmshaven, Jadebusen round trips, excursions to the seal banks or many other destinations are possible from here. You won't forget a week like this in a hurry.

Cancellation terms:
The tenant may propose a substitute tenant who is willing to take over the existing contractual obligations if the tenant decides to withdraw from the contract. The following cancellation terms apply if the tenant cancels the vacation home rental: - up to 4 weeks prior to the travel date: 30% of the total rent excluding tourist tax - up to 1 week prior to the travel date: 80% of the total rent excluding tourist tax After that, the entire rent excluding tourist tax is due.

Gemütliches Haus
The house is comfortably furnished with a large terrace and a big garden. Very practical with washing and dishwasher. Unfortunately, there are also some things to criticize. The terrace is indeed large and beautiful, but apart from a table and four chairs, there is no seating where you can sit and relax comfortably with a book. The big bed was sagging on one side, making restful sleep impossible. Unfortunately, there are no fly screens in front of the windows, so we couldn't ventilate at night. My kids were completely bitten by mosquitoes. While showering, the water kept changing between hot and cold. The mixer tap is probably defective. I reported this issue via email on the second day. Unfortunately, no handyman came to look at this unpleasant problem. It is very secluded and very quiet. Well suited for switching off and relaxing. Access to the lake is difficult because there are holiday homes all around. We booked for fourteen days but left after eight days.

Wir bedauern sehr, dass wir Ihre Erwartungen an den Urlaub in unserem Ferienhaus nicht erfüllen konnten, werden uns aber den einzelnen Anregungspunkten direkt annehmen und ggf. beseitigen. Bisher hatten wir hierzu noch keine solche Rückmeldungen von unseren Gästen.
Die Lage bietet vor Ort eher Ruhe und Erholung und in der nahen Umgebung, wie Tossens, Burhave und Nordenham finden sich auch actionreichere Freizeitangebote für Jugendliche. Wir hoffen jedenfalls, dass Ihr restlicher Urlaub auf dem Campingplatz angenehmer war, und wünschen Ihnen alles Gute!

Out of everyday life
We were two people and wanted to escape from everyday life for a week.
The house is located in a very rural area. Everything is easily accessible by car. I think a lot can also be explored by bicycle. If you want some hustle and bustle, you can go to Tossens, Fedderwardersiel, Burhave, etc. Or simply take the ferry from Eckwarderhörne at 09:45 a.m. to Wilhelmshaven.
The house is comfortably furnished. The terrace and the lawn behind the house offer plenty of space. The terrace is partly covered, so you can also sit outside in the rain.
The service for our inquiries was excellent.
We felt very comfortable.

Hello, can only recommend it, we as 2 adults and 1 child were thrilled, the house is beautiful, modern yet cozy, the huge terrace with a large garden and play area are great. Playground, open field, swimming lake, restaurant, easy to reach, dike just around the corner. Very rural but easily accessible by bike or car to Tossens or Burhave. Despite the low tide, there is still a North Sea lagoon. We felt very comfortable :)
