Hello,
we stayed for 10 days in Vale, in a very nice and tastefully furnished flat. There was nothing lacking. It was very pleasant that there were maps of the surroundings in the flat, so we could explore nearby destinations in nature and culture. There, around Sibiu and Saliste, there is really a lot to discover
We also liked being able to order food. It came to the table warm and at the agreed time. Great!
The hosts were friendly, always helpful and reliable
We also enjoyed the peace and quiet of the village. The cock crows in the morning. Otherwise nothing to hear from cars, machines, etc.
Restful!

Recreation factor super !

If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. A cosy and functionally furnished holiday flat. We had already booked a rental car in advance through the nice landlord Werner, with which our host then picked us up from the airport in Sibiu. The on-site support by Werner and Nicu was excellent. We covered 1500 km in our rented Passat during the 10 days. Whether Transalpina, Sibiu, Hunedoara, Brasov, Biertan etc., everything was beautiful, the castles, the landscape, the small Carpathian villages with their people and animals and last but not least the wonderful horse-drawn carriage ride with Nicu and his little son into the mountains. Transylvania is definitely worth a trip!!!

Fantastic holidays in Romania 2016

We spent our family holiday in Romania for the first time this year and can now look back on wonderful experiences. Casa Pelu is located quite centrally in the village of Vale and shares the beautiful courtyard with Casa Crina and Casa Nicu. It can be reached very quickly by car or on foot via two roads in the village. As soon as we entered the kitchen and the first room on the ground floor, we were struck by the cosy and warm atmosphere of this house. Just like in the old days with our grandparents ! Although many things look rustic due to the wood used and the preservation of old elements (doors, windows, wooden floorboards), we quickly realised that everything had been restored with great attention to detail and accuracy. The house has everything that makes a successful holiday in Romania possible. The beds are very large and comfortable, the terrace on the first floor is ideal for reading a good book in peace and quiet and sipping a glass of wine in between....The support from the local contact person was great
We were particularly impressed by the cleanliness of the house. Even the most hidden corners were spotless. I can only say: Hats off and thanks to the ladies who do this after every departure!
The fresh milk and goat cheese, along with other delicacies, can be ordered from Nicu without any problems. Adriana's freshly prepared dishes are also a good recommendation. The lady cooks with a lot of love and you can taste it clearly. Whether it's the dumpling soup, the mici or the aubergine salad - it's simply worth it to let her cook for you!
The pick-up and drop-off at Sibiu airport is impeccable and a great service
The landscape invites you to go hiking, there are plenty of opportunities for an active holiday in the area. We will gladly come back and are already looking forward to our next holiday.
