Luckily for us, guests had cancelled and so Fam. Schmidt became our saviours in need (as our actually booked FH in Grünbach turned out to be a rental and mould accommodation). In the Waldhaus we found everything you could wish for a nice holiday. ....Cleanliness, forest and nice landlords, and even a crepe service at the weekend. Garden: Individual trees and flowers, plenty of seating for sun and shade, don't forget mosquito spray! House: Nothing is missing. Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, fly screens everywhere.Surroundings: ideal for hikers, well signposted network of hiking trails for all levels of difficulty.Shopping/refreshments: at least 3 or 2 km away, restaurants on the Czech side within easy walking distance (food and fuel prices are only slightly below German level). Hosts: friendly, courteous, helpful.
