Description
Since June 2017, I offer my very quietly located bungalow on a fenced plot. Consisting of bedroom with double bed and bunk bed, hallway, shower room, living room with wood-burning stove, and a very well-equipped kitchen. The heating is done with night storage heaters, infrared heaters or with a cosy fireplace ( wood is available ). There is a terrace with beautiful wooden furniture and deck chairs. The property itself is 800 sqm and completely fenced. There is a large meadow, which invites you to play or sunbathe. An external sauna a few metres from the holiday home is at your disposal (exclusive use on request, costs for one hour of sauna use 4€).
The area is beautiful and invites you to go hiking or to relax in nearby Bad Elster
The nearby Czech Republic is also always worth a trip, which can also be comfortably undertaken with the Vogtlandbahn. In the winter months, the ski lift and ski slopes are about 10 km away.

Holidays in the beautiful Vogtland with its charming landscapes and peaceful forests are worthwhile for guests of all ages.
Our holiday home offers you recreation and a variety of interesting excursion destinations on foot, by car or by bike (Czech Republic - spa triangle, Vogtland Arena Klingenthal, dams, Göltzschtal Bridge - largest brick bridge in the world, space exhibition, Ore Mountains, Elster Mountains, Fichtel Mountains, Franconian Forest, Bohemia, etc.).
The Saxon state spas Bad Elster ( with the newly built brine bath ) and Bad Brambach are in the immediate vicinity
The very quietly situated bungalow is very easy to reach with the Vogtlandbahn (approx. 800 metres away), it is located directly on the forest far from any traffic. You will not hear any cars or the like, only the rustling of the forest. Bad Elster is 3 km away, with its recently opened saltwater pool and other interesting destinations such as the renovated open-air swimming pool dating from 1905. You can also reach a beautiful free natural swimming pool on foot (900 metres).
In autumn, usually from the beginning of September, you can pick a lot of mushrooms in the surrounding forests, a mushroom book is available.

The landscape of the Vogtland is very idyllic with fields, meadows and wooded hilltops. In the south and southeast, the Vogtland rises to the low mountain range and, especially in the east, also takes in parts of the Ore Mountains. This area is called the Upper Vogtland. Coniferous forests predominate there. The town of Adorf is considered the gateway to the Upper Vogtland and forms a crossroads to Bohemia and Franconia. The highest mountain in the Vogtland is the Schneehübel (974 m) in the Westerzgebirge. However, the Aschberg near Klingenthal (936 m) and the Schneckenstein (883 m) are better known and more prominent. Due to the altitude, there is almost always snow in winter, which makes winter sports possible. In addition, there are corresponding winter sports centres and cross-country ski trails in the surrounding area.
The northern hills are intersected by several river valleys, especially the White Elster and the Göltzsch. The Saale also runs through the Bavarian and Thuringian Vogtland. Mighty bridges were built for railway and road traffic to cross the valleys. The Göltzschtal Bridge, the largest brick bridge in the world, and its "little sister", the Elstertal Bridge, are particularly famous. Both are railway bridges on the Nuremberg-Dresden line. In addition to the road bridges of the A 72 motorway near Hof (Saale valley), near Pirk (Weiße Elster) and near Weißensand (Göltzsch), the Peace Bridge in Plauen is of special significance: it is the largest stone arch bridge in Europe. There are also several dams in the Vogtland. Well-known recreational areas are the Pöhl Dam (Trieb, a tributary of the White Elster), the Pirk Dam (White Elster), the Bleiloch Dam (Saale), the Zeulenroda Dam and the Untreusee.
Since deer, squirrels and other animals pass by on the property from time to time, we can only accept dogs without hunting instincts, so please arrange with us beforehand :-)

Highly recommended.
The communication with the host was lovely and friendly. We would give 7 stars for cleanliness and amenities. Beautiful fenced property with parking in a very quiet location. Perfect for hiking excursions.

Relaxation with a dog
We stayed at the Wolf family's holiday home for the second time now and again had pleasant days. The tranquility and the location of the bungalow make you forget the stress of everyday life and help you relax. Highly recommended, especially with a dog. Large fenced area, close to the forest, many hiking trails. The holiday home is clean, lovingly furnished, everything is there for a relaxing time. Thanks to the Wolf family, friendly hosts. Family holiday with dog in nature
We stayed with the Wolf family for a week as a family with a dog and it was beautiful. The property is right on the edge of the forest and completely fenced in. Our dog and we really enjoyed the long walks in the forest and then warming up by the fireplace and in the sauna. The landlords are very warm and you immediately feel at home and want for nothing. In the middle of nature we could watch many species of birds and the squirrels from the dining table. We will definitely come back and have already booked for next year.

Ideal holiday home for a holiday with dog
The holiday home was ideal for us - two adults with dog. Except for a microwave, everything was available. The cleanliness of the holiday home should be emphasised. It is completely fenced in, which is particularly important for a holiday with a dog. In just a few minutes you are in the forest and can go on various hikes. The first restaurant can be reached on foot in about an hour. If it gets fresh in the evening, a fireplace can be heated. There was enough wood available.
Conclusion: We would book the holiday home again at any time.

Very nice holiday home for relaxation and sporting activities - very good
Warm welcome by the friendly and pretty landlady, excellently and lovingly furnished bungalow, wonderful location in great nature - ideal for relaxation and time out, invitation to sporting activities (hiker's paradise), Bad Elster and Bad Brambach are in the immediate vicinity and easy to reach.

Beautiful FH
We stayed at Mrs Wolf's FH with our dog. Great house, has everything you need, a beautiful, large well-kept and fenced garden. Very quiet area for total relaxation. Highly recommended for a quiet relaxing holiday near the forest.

Super toller Urlaub in Vogtland!!!
Es war unser 2er Anlauf in diesem Ferienhaus unseren Wanderurlaub zu verbringen (Corona)..und wur wissen gar nicht womit wir anfangen sollen: Schon die Begrüßung war sehr herzlich...in diesem Objekt ist alles vorhanden was man sich nur wünschen kann..nein sogar noch mehr. Wir konnten viele schöne Wandertouren unternehmen...die Ruhe war dort im Ferienhaus unbezahlbar. Hervorragend essen waren wir in der Waldquelle...top Essen und Service!! Bad Elster in der Nähe sehr sehr schön. Und somit hoffen wir, dass wir dort noch einmal unseren Urlaub verbringen...und verbleiben mit den herzlichsten Grüßen an die Vermieterin Frau Wolf.. Ute und Jan Dams aus Meisdorf/ Harz.

Erholung pur
Wir waren für eine Woche in diesem schönen Haus, es war alles super sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir konnten mit unserer Hündin zum Tor raus und waren im Wald. Das Wetter hat auch mitgespielt uns so war es Erholung pur.
Wir konnten noch grillen, draußen essen und wenn die Sonne hinter den Bäumen verschwunden war, knisterte es im Kamin. Also wir können diese Haus nur weiter empfehlen.
Auch die Kontaktaufnahme und Übergabe haben super funktioniert, alles ganz entspannt :-)

Ruhe und Erholung
Wir haben ein Ferienhaus gesucht in das wir unseren Hund mitnehmen können und wo man tolle Spaziergänge machen kann. Und wir haben bei Familie Wolf genau das Richtige gefunden. Ein tolles sauberes und gemütliches Haus mit einer super netten Vermieterin. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht ist hier genau richtig. Die Gegend ist nicht so überlaufen wie andere Touristen Hotspots. Wir waren nicht das letzte Mal da und können das Ferienhaus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus
Wir hatten zwei sehr schöne Wochen in diesem Ferienhaus. Das Haus ist gut geschnitten, sehr gut ausgestattet und angenehm viel Holz wurde verwendet. Der Kamin spendet wohlige wärme an kühlen Abenden. Die Ruhe ist sehr angenehm, man hört nur die Vögel, das Summen der Bienen, das Windrauschen in den Bäumen. Die direkte Waldlage ist sehr schön. Der schöne Kurort Bad Elster ist schnell zu erreichen. Alles in Einem ein Wohlfühlort. Die herausragende Freundlichkeit der Vermieter hat uns sehr gut getan.

Idylle und Natur pur!
Ich war mit Freundinnen in diesem sehr liebevoll eingerichteten, ruhig und direkt am Wald gelegenen Ferienhaus zum ausspannen. Das gelingt dort super! Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt, das schöne Panoramafenster im Wohnbereich und der Kamin machen es sehr romantisch. Vielen Dank für die schönen Tage an die sehr nette Vermieterin und ihren Mann! Pure Erholung
Da wir diesen Bungalow von früher kennen waren wir sehr positiv überrascht. Er ist praktisch, mit allen was benötigt wird ausgestattet.
Die abgelegene und ruhige Lage ist sehr gut für Entspannung und Erholung geeignet. Ausflugsziele sind schnell zu erreichen.
Ein Dank an die nette Vermieterin Fr. Wolf. Es lief alles reibungslos. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder.

Wunderschön
Erholung pur. Ein schöner Ort um die Seele baumeln zu lassen aber auch für viele schöne Unternehmungen geeignet. Das Haus ist mit allem was man braucht ausgestattet und der gemütliche Kaminofen macht den Abend romantisch.

Das wiederholen wir gern!
Die Aussicht und vor allem die ruhige Lage sind optimal um richtig abzuschalten und Seele baumeln zu lassen. Gleichzeitig kann man im nahe gelegenen Bad Elster viel unternehmen. Außerdem stehen einem, aufgrund der kurzen Entfernungen im Vogtland sowie nach Tschechien, viele Möglichkeiten offen.

mal richtig Abschalten
Ein wirklich ruhiger Ort um Kraft zu Tanken. Im nahen Bad Elster gibt es genügend kulzurelle Angebote. Ganz besonders ist das Sohlebad zu empfehlen. Auch Ausflüge mit der Vogtlandbahn ins nahe Tschejen ist durchaus empfehlenswert
