Barrier-free holiday homes & apartments in Warin Warin

In September 2023, we (2 people and a dog) spent a week in House 10 on Glammsee. Our expectations were more than exceeded. Upon our arrival, the beautiful house was super clean. The house was perfectly equipped. Nothing was missing. The furnishings were also very appealing and super cozy. The beds were very comfortable. From our front terrace, we had a beautiful view of the lake. Since the weather was very warm, we were able to swim in the lake every day. The forest, which starts directly behind the house, allowed us to take beautiful walks with our dog. The proximity to the Baltic Sea gave us great excursions during this week, for example to Wismar, Boltenhagen, Poel Island, and Kühlungsborn. In summary, this short vacation was the most beautiful we had in a long time. We are already looking forward to our 14-day vacation in June 2024, which we have already booked. For us (a couple in our 60s with a Havanese dog), it was a fantastic two-week vacation with lots of peace, nature, and very nice neighbors.
Thanks to the description and pictures provided by the owner, we found the house without any problems. It's a small house, but it offers enough space and freedom to move around, even in bad weather. The house is very bright, thanks to many windows. Large bathroom. View from the bed into the greenery. The furnishings are well thought out. Everything was very clean. We just would have liked a slightly larger refrigerator. Fresh vegetables, sausage, meat, drinks... it was very cramped. Other than that, everything was great! Everything needed in the kitchen area was available. Sufficient cutlery, cups, plates, bowls, and everything else needed for cooking. Even large cups (mugs) were there. The terrace is well usable even in the rain thanks to the overhead cover.
No WiFi and the cell phone reception is moderate or non-existent, depending on the network. This didn't bother us. In Warin at the tourist information, the reception is quite good, and you can connect to the WiFi there. Very nice people at the tourist information.
It's only a few steps to the lake and you can enter the water there right next to the jetty - even with a dog. The beach is right next door. Like everything else there, it's very well maintained and clean. Dogs are not allowed there. The house also includes a rowboat that can be used.
If you like untouched nature and tranquility, this is the right place for you. However, a car is necessary here. There are no shopping facilities nearby (about 4 km away). Cycling here is only recommended with an e-bike, as it is very hilly. Or you are physically very fit.

We spent a very nice and relaxing week in the holiday house. The landlord is very accommodating and helpful. We felt comfortable right away. The holiday house is modern and comfortably furnished. Attention was paid to details, such as fresh flowers everywhere and a welcome gift. We also got along very well with our mobility impaired child (able to walk a few steps). The terrace, especially with the glazed seating area, we found very beautiful. We could also sit together comfortably in rainy weather.
The lake, with its very clear and clean water, can be reached in 5 minutes (even with a wheelchair). A thick folder with information about excursion destinations and restaurants in the area was available. With that, we were able to discover and experience a lot in the area in all weather conditions.
