Description
This quiet and sunny holiday home consists of a 3.5 and 2.5 room holiday flat. It has a total of approx. 150 square metres and is on the ground floor. The house has 3 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and both living rooms have views of the lake and mountains. The large flat has a pergola and an indoor and outdoor fireplace. The living room in the small flat can also be converted into a 4th bedroom. As the two flats are connected internally with a door, it can be used as one large house. The well-equipped kitchens and the free WLAN make the house perfect.
The house is ideal for grandparents with children and grandchildren or for families of friends. Everyone has their own flat and yet you are together if you want to be.
A beautiful garden invites you to relax and play. The swimming pool is 13 m long and 3.5 m wide and can be heated from spring to autumn using solar technology.
You can sit in the sun on the terrace from morning to evening and enjoy the marvellous view of the mountains and lake. It has several seating areas, so you can choose between shade or sun.
Each flat has its own area in the garden so that you can withdraw and not disturb each other if you wish. The pool is for both flats.
If you are fewer people, you can also book only the 2 1/2 or the 3 1/2 room flat.
The beautiful 3.5 room holiday flat with approx. 90 sqm has two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and a living room with an open fireplace and a view of the lake and mountains. It has a spacious pergola, garden with sunbathing lawn and a seating area with an outdoor fireplace. The well-equipped kitchen and free WLAN round off the holiday flat to a living pearl.
The tastefully furnished 2.5 room holiday flat has a large master bedroom with bathroom and from the living room with open-plan kitchen you have a wonderful view of the mountains and lake, pool and garden. There is a sofa bed in the living room so that it can be converted into a 4th bedroom. There is also a separate WC for these people.
Both kitchens are well equipped and it has everything you would have at home.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is located just above the village on a very quiet, sunny hill. It is situated on a road with limited traffic and has a wonderful view of the lake and mountains. Below the house is a chestnut forest and to the right of the house is a large meadow where you can also play if you wish. The house is about 10 minutes' walk and 3 minutes' drive from the centre of the harbour town of Poto Valtravaglia. You can set off on hikes or cycle tours directly from the house.
Porto Valtravaglia is a small, typical Italian village. It has an old town centre with narrow streets and a promenade lined with plane trees with a small marina, playground and pebble beach. This picturesque village has a greengrocer's, a bakery, bars, cafés, restaurants, hairdressers, a supermarket and a railway station. It offers direct connections to Milan airport (Malpensa) and other towns in the region. Varese, Milan
Portovaltravaglia is an ideal starting point for excursions to neighbouring towns such as Luino, Varese, Milan, Lugano or the Boromean Islands.
Porto is also an ideal starting point for hiking or cycling tours.
The weekly markets in Luino or Laveno can be reached in 10 minutes by car.

Dream holiday
We rented the entire holiday home during the period mentioned above. The location and the view of the house are unique. The large pool is a dream. We immediately felt at home. The house was very clean and the kitchens super equipped. It's been a long time since we had such a great holiday with the whole family and the dogs. Pure relaxation. We will definitely come back.

Dream house
The house is really fantastic. Very well maintained and the furnishings are well thought out. The pool is the highlight in the lovingly tended garden. The whole thing combined with the wonderful view gave us a wonderful holiday. I can only recommend it. Clear 5 points.

Ferienparadies
Wir durften 1 Woche in diesem Paradies unseren Urlaub geniessen.
Das Haus und das Grundstück, sind mit sehr viel Liebe und noch mehr Herzblut erbaut, eingerichtet und angelegt. Es fehlt im Haus an nichts, es ist mit allem Komfort ausgestattet. Der wunderschöne große beheizte Pool, mit einer gigantischen Aussicht über den Lago Maggiore ist ein Traum,
sowie ein zauberhafte Garten mit seinen verschiedenen Sitzecken unter sehr schönen Rosen und Palmen lädt zum entspannen und verweilen ein.
Das Auto findet auch einen schattigen platz auf dem Grundstück unter einem Carport .
Vielen lieben Dank an die Familie Blank für den sehr warmherzigen Empfang. Gern würden Ihr kleines Paradies am Largo Maggiore wieder besuchen kommen.

Traumferien mit dem Rennrad
Wir waren mit ein paar Freunden aus dem Rennradteam für eine Woche im Trainingslager! Es war eine ausgezeichnete Woche an einem wunderschönen Plätzchen mit gigantischer Aussicht und einem wunderschönen Garten! Das Haus ist bestens ausgestattet und man findet alles was man braucht. Mit viel Herzblut & Freude wurden wir empfangen von de Eigentümern und auch gleich mit den besten Tipps und Empfehlungen bereichert. Die Organisation von der Offerte, über die Buchung bis hin zur Ankunft sowie auch Rückreise wurde bestens betreut! Wir würden uns gleich wieder für dieses Haus & Ort entscheiden. Und zum Rennradfahren sowieso ein Traum.... jedoch auch für alle anderen Ferien!

Dream view
We were able to enjoy 14 days in this beautiful place in this great holiday location for this year's holiday.
Everything in the house has been lovingly modernised and is therefore very clean.
The fantastic view from the pool or the terrace during breakfast or dinner is a pleasure every day.

They still go with us, alone or with friends in the house and to the Lake Maggiore. Since we all love this house very much and ourselves are much below, we renew and maintain the house again and again. For us, it is a place of the oasis, where we relax, make excursions, do sports and enjoy the friends and family.
