The approx. large apartment is located in a 2-family house with a large beautiful garden, private pool and a fantastic view
It has a cosy living-dining room with open fireplace and a beautiful view over the lake
The master bedroom with view over the lake and the children's bedroom each have their own bathroom. The spacious pergola, the garden with sunbathing lawn and the sitting area in front of the outside fireplace and the lounge invite you to relax. You can retreat well, so that the other guests of the small apartment do not see you. The apartment with the well equipped kitchen and free WLAN leave nothing to be desired
The swimming pool is 13 m long and m wide and can be heated with solar technology. It is in operation from the end of April to the beginning of October. It is also nice to linger in the beautiful garden and enjoy the view, flowers and possibly fruits, or to play
A washing machine is available in the cellar
At the house there is a shelter for the car or you can even leave it in front of the house because there is so little traffic.

The holiday home is situated in a very quiet position on the hill of Portovaltravaglia with a wonderful view of half Lake Maggiore and the mountains. It has sun from morning to evening. There are only a few houses in the surroundings. A small street passes the house and is only for the neighbours. So there is not much traffic. From the house you can walk or cycle directly. Ideal also for dog owners
The small romantic village of Portovaltravaglia is located on Lake Maggiore, 5 km south of Luino and is about 20 minutes by car from the Swiss border Ponte Tresa. It has a harbour, small shops, a supermercato, bars and restaurants.
Portovaltravaglia is an ideal starting point for excursions to neighbouring cities such as Luino, Varese, Milan, Lugano, or to the Borromean Islands.

Our family has owned this house for 32 years now and for our three children, who have grown up in the meantime, the house is their second home. They still like to go with us, alone or with friends to the house and to Lake Maggiore. Since we all love this house very much and are downstairs a lot ourselves, we renew and maintain the house again and again. For us it is a place of oasis where we relax, go on excursions, do sports and enjoy our friends and family.
