Description
The bright attic flat on the first floor with glazed loggia has a bedroom with a double bed. The spacious living-dining room has a dining area, a comfortable sofa bed (with mattress / slatted frame / lying surface 1.60m), armchair, TV, satellite receiver, DVD player, stereo system and a new fully equipped fitted kitchen (dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, toaster, egg boiler). From the dining area you have direct access to the sunny loggia, so you can enjoy the beautiful view every day. The bathroom has a shower and a washing machine. Furthermore, a parking space belongs to the flat. On the large property there is a bicycle storage space and a table tennis table for our guests
Since the holiday flat is very centrally located, our guests can reach the harbour of Waase in a few minutes on foot. There you will find the bistro-shop Kutterschnute, a small bathing bay, the St. Mary's Church, the shop of Ummanz ceramics as well as the Ummanz Information incl. electric charging station. The rest of the island, such as the adventure farms of Farmer Lange and Farmer Kliewe, can easily be explored by bicycle. The nearest shopping facilities are in Gingst, about 7 km away. There you will find an Edeka market with a bakery, a pharmacy and several small shops.

Location and surroundings of object
A seemingly endless natural landscape is the best way to describe Rügen's little sister Ummanz. It lies in the middle of the "Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft" National Park. Only one bridge connects the island of Ummanz, surrounded by reeds and dikes, with Rügen. The island promises restful tranquillity and is simply an insider tip for all nature lovers, hikers, cyclists, horse riders, anglers and all water sports enthusiasts. But the island is also ideal for families thanks to the adventure farms of Farmer Lange, Farmer Kliewe and the Haflinger Farm. The island is away from the main tourist resorts, but they are easily accessible if desired. In spring and autumn, thousands of cranes rest here, and in the evening, the sun sinks fire-red into the sea.
The island simply convinces with its quiet corners and hidden treasures.

Great holiday apartment in a wonderful setting
The holiday apartment is super equipped and tastefully and lovingly furnished. Nothing is really missing, and we felt very, very comfortable there. We also really liked the surroundings, right in nature, where you can wonderfully let your soul dangle. Thank you very much to the Raddatz family!

Dream holiday apartment
This vacation rental is truly fantastic. It is lovingly furnished down to the last detail. Despite the construction site in the apartment below and the accompanying construction noise at times, we really felt very comfortable. A great place to unwind for us city dwellers. We will definitely come back with pleasure!

Apartment Kranichnest Ummanz/Waase
Very beautiful and lovingly furnished holiday flat. We were very surprised about the extensive equipment. Especially things like a coffee pad machine (Senseo), painting materials for children, games, books, table tennis rackets, etc.. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and chocolate. There were gummy bears for the children. On the cupboard were jars of baking mix for bread, a mix for semolina porridge and a special salt mix. These are also for consumption. So the equipment is definitely super and far above normal. We deliberately chose an apartment away from the hustle and bustle. But even on Ummanz there are great things to discover. We visited the farms, among others, but we liked Bauer Lange better. The caretaker is also very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable. Many thanks

A very relaxing holiday
from the first moment we felt very comfortable in this flat, which was furnished with love and taste. Nothing was missing. Even wine and sweets were available
The glazed loggia provided plenty of fresh air with a view of fields and meadows including Haflinger horses.
The contact with the landlady, Mrs Raddatz, was very pleasant.
We even extended our stay by three days.
The Störtebeker Festival was a delight and is highly recommended.
We also liked the fact that there are only a few cars on the road on Ummanz; you could hike endlessly.
We will be very happy to come back
And...if we had known that the landlady would provide all the "household equipment", we would have needed one less suitcase.
