Description

Welcome to the Landhaus am Teich !

In the comfortable house - built in 1997/98 - there are 4 holiday flats with modern and solid equipment.

The "green" holiday flat is 30 m² in size and has a separate bedroom with a double bed. You can take care of yourself in the bathroom with WC and shower. All flats have satellite TV, telephone, W-Lan reception and night storage heating.

In the living and kitchen area you will find a kitchenette with sink, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine, kettle, microwave and toaster. It is fully equipped with crockery, pots and cutlery

Further features are TV, compact stereo, telephone and WLan reception. In the garden, a private seating area with barbecue facilities awaits you.

The upper floor flats green and blue offer a special attraction for children from the age of approx. 6 years. Here the extra bed is on a small sleeping loft. In case of need, 2 adults can also find a place to sleep here.

Bed linen, kitchen towels and towels can be booked on request. Allergy-sufferer bed linen, cot and/or high chair are also available on request.

A washing machine and tumble dryer are available for all guests in a separate laundry room. The common hallway provides an iron and ironing board for all guests as well as information material, reading material and games.

Location and surroundings of object

Four holiday flats for 2-4 people and two holiday houses for 3-5 people are waiting for you on a large pond property at the gates to Fischland-Darß-Zingst. The holiday flats are located in one house. The holiday homes are 2 semi-detached houses.

The large garden offers inviting seating, lounging and barbecue facilities. It invites you to relax on the fenced-in sunbathing areas or to play in the play area.

The central but quiet location on the Saaler Bodden, between Rostock and Stralsund or Ribnitz-Damgarten, Barth and the nearby Baltic Sea makes Saal the ideal starting point for tourist activities. A day at the beach, a cycling tour through the Bodden landscape, or a visit to the bird park - Saal is the quiet centre of your Baltic Sea holiday

Saal is located, beyond the hustle and bustle of the seaside resorts, on the eastern shore of the Bodden of the same name - the shallow Baltic Sea shoreline - with natural beaches, reed and heath areas, bird sanctuary zones. The landscape is also characterised by large contiguous forest areas. The village has about 900 inhabitants and is characterised by a good infrastructure.

The bakery closed at the turn of the year. However, there is the possibility to get baked goods at a sales trolley 3 days a week. There is a restaurant in the village. Medical care is provided by a general practitioner and a dentist.

Water sports, bathing and kite surfing are available in the Bodden or in the nearby Baltic Sea on the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula. Saal has its own bathing and surfing area. Two schools here will introduce you to the water sports of kitesurfing and surfing

You can rent bicycles in the Neuendorf district and in Damgarten. There are good fishing opportunities in the "Saaler Tonkuhlen" (fishing ponds) on the outskirts of the village, in the Bodden, in the Recknitz river and in the Baltic Sea (don't forget your fishing licence!). Fishing permits are available in Damgarten from the Weu fishing shop. Courses to obtain a fishing licence, sailing licence or boat licence are offered in the area (more details on request).

The crane migrations in September and October are a wonderful spectacle of nature. They stop off at numerous places in the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park. The Saal village church is also worth seeing.

Newly developed cycle paths and hiking trails invite visitors to make excursions. As a reflection of the still intact and untouched nature here, special mention should be made of the large forests in the immediate vicinity. In addition to flora and fauna rich in species, berry pickers and mushroom lovers will find a rich field of activity here.

Nearby attractions include the Baltic Sea, Ribnitz-Damgarten with its amber museum and amber manufactory, Klockenhagen with its open-air museum, Marlow with its bird park, Bad Sülze with its salt museum, and Barth with its Vineta Museum. The regional centres of Rostock and Stralsund can also be easily reached by car in ¾ hour.

Spa tax

From 1 Jan. 2022, the municipality of Saal will levy a health resort tax in the core town, among other places, if the stay is intended for recreational purposes. The exact organisational procedure is not yet known

In simple terms, a charge of € 2 per guest (from 14 years of age) and overnight stay will be levied throughout the year. The fee for dogs is € 1.50 per overnight stay.

Exceptions are regulated by § 4 of the statutes on the levying of a spa tax in the municipality of Saal.

The health resort tax is not part of the rental price and is to be collected and passed on by the landlord on behalf of the municipality of Saal. The landlord shall issue the guest with a spa card for the duration of the stay.

Cancellation terms:

The guest is obligated to pay the agreed price for services not used, minus the expenses saved by the landlord. According to current legal precedent, the savings amount to 10% of the lodging price for accommodations without breakfast. The landlord will attempt to re-lease the apartment to the best of their ability. If this is not successful, the tenant is liable for the rental price in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code (BGB). Therefore, it is advisable to take out travel cancellation insurance.

As a rule, the landlord will contact the guest (preferably by telephone) approx. 2 days before the start of the journey. If this is not possible, the contact will be made by the tenant as a substitute.

In the course of a booking, the landlord asks for a deposit of approx. 20-25 % (rounded) of the total price. The remaining amount should be transferred on the date of arrival or paid in cash on arrival.

The non-utilisation of the contractual service does not release the guest from paying the agreed rent. The guest shall be liable for any shortfalls in accordance with the terms and conditions of the lessor. These will be sent or made available in the course of the offer preparation.

Solid small flat with good price-performance ratio

We (a couple with a dog, accompanied by our adult daughter for the first week) spent 14 days in the "green" flat in August. We found the apartment in perfect condition (even the kitchen utensils!). The apartment is well and functionally equipped. Downstairs in the entrance area there is a hoover for all tenants and plenty of cleaning stuff for cleaning in between. If, like us, you are on the road a lot during the day and therefore do not need luxurious and spacious accommodation, you can live well here at a reasonable price. However, tenants must be prepared for sloping ceilings and a cramped dining area (especially for more than two people). Saal is a very good starting point for excursions in all directions (provided you have a car). From here you can explore this great region very well. The contact with the landlord was reliable and uncomplicated. We can recommend this accommodation!

Nice vacation

Have had a nice peaceful vacation in a beautiful location.
The holiday apartment was cozy and in a clean condition.
Even our little Dachshund felt completely comfortable here.
We would love to come back here.

Great accommodation near the Baltic Sea.

We had a nice short vacation in Saal. The apartment (green) was very clean and well equipped. The landlord is very nice and helpful. My son enjoyed the most on the sleeping loft. Although you have to drive 20 minutes to the Baltic Sea, the location is very central. You can quickly reach Rostock or Stralsund. We will definitely come back.
