The Holiday House
For larger families or for vacations with friends, it is possible to rent our neighboring apartment for up to 4 additional people. Both apartments were recently renovated.
The house is situated very quietly on a sand dune. From the living area, the upstairs bedroom, and of course from the terrace, you have a fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean with its white sandy beach. Enjoy the magnificent sunsets during dinner and a nice glass of wine on the terrace, and later the silver carpet of the moon reflected in the water. It is the ideal place to retreat, relax, read, write. Go swimming, take long walks on the beach, hike through the dunes and forests, ride on the well-developed bike paths. Enjoy the sun – on the terrace or at the approx. 40 meters from the house is the beach. After all, you are here in one of the sunniest places in France.
If you are a wine lover, you have the opportunity to visit the nearby châteaux of Médoc, Saint-Emilion, Graves, or Pomerol to taste the great wines there. You can take part in special cultural events or take advantage of the numerous shopping opportunities, for example in Bordeaux ( km away), Montalivet, or also Soulac with its small boutiques. Bordeaux is certainly also worth a visit from a cultural point of view. And Saint-Emilion ( km) is considered one of the most beautiful small towns in France. Every place near you has its own special festivals and market days, always offering fresh products from local cultivation. The weather is mostly dry, warm, and sunny. The wine and the food are excellent.
If you are traveling with a larger family or with friends, but still wish to maintain your privacy, it is also possible to rent the immediate identical neighboring apartment (4 people).

Simply always a pleasure....!!!
We have been to the small cottage on the sand dune for the 5th time. We always enjoy the wide beaches. They constantly invite us to swim in the Atlantic. A perfect place for nature lovers and families with dogs. Because here, even the dogs get their money's worth. One week feels like three weeks of vacation!

More beautiful than in the pictures
What you see in the pictures is surpassed by reality. Superbly furnished - everything available - you miss nothing. We felt "at home". The location is extremely quiet and offers an excellent view of the Atlantic. It was also ideal for our two dogs because of the huge run on the property and the lack of traffic. The nearest village (Soulac) with bakery, supermarket, restaurants and everything else that should be necessary can be reached by car in 5 minutes. It should also be mentioned that the key to the flat is sent in advance. This eliminates the need to arrive within a certain time window. This is a considerable plus point when travelling over 1500 kilometres :).

A small paradise right by the sea.
We have stayed several times in the landlord's two apartments and always felt very comfortable. We especially fell in love with the breathtaking view of the Atlantic. The key sent in advance made our arrival and departure easier due to our long journey (Southern Germany), as we could skip the trip to a travel agency. We always enjoyed the available and interesting reading material and the exceptionally well-equipped kitchen. The landlord can be reached at any time to help with problems.
