Description

High above the Lerronetal which opens to far out to sea, is surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, this sensitively restored farmhouse from the 18th century. It consists of three units, two of which stand out as holiday homes available. The establishment of both objects is held in a country style, with rustic elements, but modern equipment and technology where necessary. The apartment "Terrazza" has an area of 45 square meters and is suitable for double occupancy and toddler. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed (1,80x2,00) and good German mattresses. Tucked away in a "window wardrobe" finds the SAT / TV. An extra bed is possible. The comfortable bathroom has a walk-in shower with a tiled seat, sink, toilet, hair dryer and spacious storage areas. In the kitchen with dining area for four people, modern fitted wardrobes and appliances you will find all the amenities you need for the preparation of his meals. Dishes and glasses are extensively available. Before cooking the conservatory with comfortable seating and before the furnished private terraces with beautiful views located in the valley. If you feel like on society, has in common garden barbecue area with BBQ and large dining table on. Location and surroundings of object

In the immediate hinterland of the Riviera delle Palme with its magnificent beaches, the intact village Ligo lies above the valley sublime with views of the surrounding mountain ranges of the Alps and on azure sea. Alassio with its kilometers-long promenade, the handsome marina and the fashionable shops is quickly reached. In the immediate vicinity and the historic noteworthy Albenga lies with its baptistery from the 5th century., The medieval famous towers and the lively old town. Sea and mountains offer a variety of holiday activities such as water sports of any kind, whale watching, golf, tennis, horseback riding, climbing and mountain biking. Especially interesting for families are the nearby Acqua Park, the seawater Aquarium of Genoa and the Pista Ciclabile, a great hiking and biking path along the sea.

The village of Ligo is part of the municipality of Villanova d'Albenga. The reinforced walls with Villanova is the center of the valley. In the flower-filled alleyways and squares you will find everything you need for life, bars, good butchers, bakers, doctor, pharmacy, hairdresser and several restaurants. For larger purchases, you will find only a few kilometers, a commercial area with several supermarkets. Typical Ligurian, good and inexpensive food can be well with us in Ligo, in only 300m away agriturismo with lovely outdoor terrace.

Enchanting ambience in the mountains of Liguria

Casa Frantoio used to be an old olive mill, which has been wonderfully restored over many years with a lot of heart and passion. It is an absolutely top house with a pool and garden from which you are allowed to help yourself. The landlords are generous and helpful people whom you can only like. The small holiday flat we stayed in is tastefully furnished and offers enough space for 2 people. We especially enjoyed having breakfast on the spacious outdoor terrace with a view of the velvety green hills. A dream! The spacious pool, which we used twice a day, was also a blessing. Only the parking facilities are unfortunately a little special. We wish the owners, who would like to optimise this, would be more accommodating on the part of the municipality. But good things come to those who wait! We always parked at the top of the street and left the car there at night. That was no problem at all. In any case, we can only warmly recommend the property to everyone
But you must not mind serpentine roads. From Villanova or Riviera Airport, it's quite a long way up. But you have time. And a visit to the restaurant "Three Little Pigs" is especially recommended. Quality in perfection and absolutely reasonably priced! Let yourself be surprised where this restaurant is located. You wouldn't guess it...

Dreamlike relaxing holiday!

The flat leaves nothing to be desired. It is perfectly equipped, tastefully furnished and absolutely clean. I have rarely seen such a perfect holiday flat, be it the kitchen/bathroom equipment or the decoration. You notice that the landlords have put a lot of effort and thought into the renovation of this dreamlike house. The Mediterranean garden has also been designed with great attention to detail. Everyone will find a place to relax here. In 10 minutes by car you can reach the beach of Laigueglia as well as various shopping facilities. Very good restaurants can also be reached quickly by car. Alternatively, 300 metres away is a restaurant with its own cultivation, where you get super tasty food at a more than fair price. We will definitely be back!

Ein kleines Paradies

We are repeat offenders and were able to get to know and love the smaller apartment now as well. The apartment is well-equipped and lacks nothing. However, the highlight is the terrace with a view of the Ligurian hinterland. Sitting there with a glass of red wine is a piece of paradise. The entire property is very well-maintained and lovingly designed. The location is absolutely quiet. Everything invites you to simply relax and unwind. If you have a love for nature, good food, and drink, then this is the perfect place for you. We definitely won't be the last time in Ligo.

Schöner Urlaub

Our decision to go on a short-term vacation in Ligo at "Casa Frantoio" was exactly right. We found a very beautiful old olive oil mill perched on a mountaintop surrounded by olive groves. The apartments are beautifully decorated with a lot of love. The garden is an oasis of peace and you don't really know where to settle because every corner is especially beautiful. From our balcony, where we had breakfast every morning, we had a view over the whole valley. The surroundings invite you to many activities. The sea is also not far away, and we simply enjoyed going for a swim in the sea every day in October. We will definitely come back.

The absolutely idyllically situated old oil mill was restored with great effort, very carefully and totally lovingly. Hospitality was very important to us - Gerhard and Adriano, a team that is second to none... Whether it was fresh vegetables from the garden in the morning or tools that we could use after a breakdown - everything was made possible. We had an unforgettable summer holiday with you - the beautiful evenings when we cooked together and enjoyed the wonderful wine... The furnishings in the holiday flat are exceptional, we also enjoyed the garden with pool almost every day. The surroundings are pure Italy! Idyllic tranquillity, olive groves and pine forests as if painted. Whether you want to go biking, hiking or rather to the wonderful beach, everything is possible
We would gladly spend our holidays there again at any time!

Relaxing vacation in a quiet and idyllic location

My husband and I had 10 wonderful days with our dog in this beautiful, lovingly furnished holiday apartment.

The apartment and especially the kitchen are very well equipped.
We cooked a lot ourselves, using vegetables and herbs from the garden where we were allowed to pick.

Also, the Italian caretaker Adrian, who speaks German quite well, was very helpful every day and provided us with tips and local recommendations. We can only recommend the holiday apartment, the garden and pool are inviting for relaxing, and there are great hiking trails around. The little village is located up the mountain, so you could enjoy the peace and nature.

We would love to come back, but in a different period.

It was too hot for our dog in August ;)

A dream!

Despite our very spontaneous decision and inquiry regarding the apartment, everything worked out wonderfully. The hosts are very well organized and welcomed us (including our dog) in a very familial manner. After a short tour, we were able to enjoy a completely relaxed holiday in a beautiful and quiet area/apartment. You can tell that the garden, house, and apartment were set up with a lot of love and passion. We didn't lack anything, my friend and I were thrilled and will definitely come back next year!

Erholung pur

We were very pleased with Casa Frantoio! We were warmly welcomed and everything was explained to us by the caretaker Adriano. The location is perfect for those seeking peace and even if there were other guests, you can be by yourself. The apartment's amenities are excellent and very lovingly done. The same goes for the garden and the entire property. For meals, we went to the small restaurant in the neighborhood, good and inexpensive. You are also back in the valley in a short time, where there are all necessary shops and many restaurants. By car, many sights or beaches can be reached quickly.

Short break with maximum relaxation value

We were able to book this accommodation relatively last minute on the recommendation of friends, and our expectations were absolutely exceeded. The entire house with garden and pool, and especially the very tastefully furnished apartment, immediately made us relax after a long car journey. This was also greatly facilitated by the warm welcome from the Italian caretaker, Adriano. A small, very authentic restaurant in the village might tempt you to only dine here. The quickly accessible coast with small beautiful villages is very attractive. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful golf course, which is only a few minutes' drive away. Overall, we can very well imagine spending our holiday here again.

Extremely tastefully restored oil mill

One can travel by car and still be in a quiet environment, there is work being done around the house but no annoying noise. It's a place to relax. In the well-equipped apartment, one could also bake or grill. In the beautifully landscaped garden, you might run into the tenants of the neighboring apartment, but you have your own space for sunbathing.
The landlord and caretaker give you the pleasant feeling of being in a familiar environment.
Only downside: no WiFi.
