Description
You enter the maisonette via a spacious wooden terrace with a comfortable dining area and beach chair. From there, you enter through a large sliding door into a conservatory, which invites you to linger with a dining area if the weather does not permit it outside
Through the restored Darßtür you enter the square hallway, from which the spacious, modern fitted kitchen (dishwasher and washing machine, cooker with ceramic hob, microwave, etc.), the small shower room and the stairs to the upper floor are accessed
On the first floor is the living/bedroom with large French doors to the covered south-facing balcony, a cosy sitting area, a dining area and a single bed (90x2.00)
The rather large bedroom with a double bed (1,60x2,00) and a single bed (90x2,00) also offers space for the existing travel bed for a toddler.

On the ground floor, on the other side, there is a 75sqn loft-like design flat for 2 persons. Please ask for details.

"Natü" is how the smallest and quietest village on the Darß welcomes its guests
The central location of the Bodden village on the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula offers quick connections by bike, bus with bike trailer or car to all closer and further attractions in the area.
Spend the most precious days of the year in our house "Wieck-end" surrounded by lots of green. The former thatched barn is centrally located and yet very quietly set back on a 900 sqm property on a small one-way street
Parking space and a covered bicycle stand are available on the property. A bicycle rental shop is located directly opposite.
In Wieck you can swim from a bathing jetty with a bathing pontoon in front on the small sandy beach with children's playground in the Bodden. There you can also use a beach volleyball court and a table tennis table free of charge.
The unspoilt western beach on the Baltic Sea can only be reached by bike in about 30 minutes or after a hike through the Darß primeval forest.
To the long, wide north beach - sections with beach chairs and DLRG surveillance - you need 15-20 minutes by bike, or faster by car or bus.
Discover the charming Bodden landscape from the small Wieck harbour on one of the restored typical Zees boats or an excursion boat. Autumn is particularly popular with our nature-loving guests, when the resting of ducks, geese and cranes offers a very special natural spectacle.
In the village there are:
- a choice of approx. 10 restaurants - from the hotel restaurant to the organic café bistro to the fish or game restaurant, which will spoil you with regional delicacies,
- a bakery with 7-day opening hours and bread delivery service
- a fisherman with a snack bar
- an organic fresh produce market twice a week from Easter to October
- the National Park Centre with an artists' deck in the "Darßer Arche" (Darss Ark)
- four small arts and crafts shops

Pure relaxation
A great fortune was to be able to spend a rich week in July for the urgently needed relaxation at the Wieck-End house. Mr. and Mrs. Rautenberg are wonderful hosts who had valuable tips ready and made the stay even more pleasant with their friendly manner.
With five different seating options, the decision was sometimes difficult; for breakfast on the sunny terrace and often on the beautiful balcony, we spent enjoyable hours. We particularly liked the paintings in the cozily furnished accommodation, as well as the comfortable beds and the tranquility.
Other highlights were the bike tours to the paradisiacal West Beach and to the lighthouse, this time with binoculars! Water buffalo, wild boars, deer, roe deer, foxes, eagles - pure nature. The delicacies from the market, the fantastic concert (Dirk Zöllner) in Zingst, and the trip to Stralsund were enough for this time; there is already a long list for future stays. Thank you very much and hopefully see you next year at the latest!

Relaxed holidays despite "Corona"
We were able to experience a very relaxed holiday in the maisonette flat despite the rather long distance (from the far south-west of our country to the far north-east = approx. 1000 km) and the country-wide restrictions imposed by CoViD 19. That autumn on the Darß is a very attractive season, we already suspected before our booking and this was then confirmed
The flat itself was not only perfectly equipped (we didn't need any of the utensils we had brought with us to be on the safe side and took them home unpacked) but was also completely cleaned when we took possession of it. The very friendly and cordial landlords were there in person to hand over the keys (both on arrival and departure) and gave us a briefing on the flat and wished us a good trip on departure. The location of the flat, almost in the centre of the village, is perfect - you can get almost everywhere on foot. There is a weekly market about 50 m away on Wednesdays and Saturdays and during the rest of the time there are various gastronomic offers and for self-sufficiency a bakery and a fish shop
The Rautenberg family was very pleasant - they were there when you needed them and practically invisible the rest of the time
If you are as scatterbrained as I am, you sometimes forget something and leave things you might need lying around - in my case it was the charger for my tablet. We were not even at home when we received a message from Mrs Rautenberg saying that she had found the device and would send it to us immediately. It arrived today - thank you very much!
If "Corona" allows it (stricter regulations in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern!) we would gladly come again!

Complete relaxation
A completely different holiday because of Corona. Less active, but you could enjoy the peace and quiet on the terrace all the more. The holiday flat is great and we felt very comfortable and Fam. Rautenberg was always happy to give us good tips on what else we could do. Thank you for a quiet, relaxing holiday!

Relaxing vacation at House Wieck-end
The holiday apartment and garden were very nice. The surroundings are quiet and you can relax well. After a few bike trips, you could enjoy a cozy home with very good facilities upon your return. The support from the Rautenberg family was also very good and started already upon arrival. We had a very nice vacation in Wieck.

Our first holiday on the Darß peninsula was a complete hit. Our accommodation in Wieck with the Rautenberg family played a big part in this. It was very clean and everything you need was there. Here you found peace and relaxation. Despite the holiday season, the place was not overcrowded and was beautiful. Thanks to the Rautenberg family.

We fell in love with the beautiful Darß with its varied "primeval forest", the unspoilt natural western beach and the wide view over pastures and Bodden right after the reunification.
