House Biedermann

The Biedermann holiday home...

First of all super nice hostess, we were warmly welcomed with little attentions that make you feel right at home.
The house is in a great location, 5 minutes from the bakery, supermarket, restaurants and hiking trails, a short walk to Winterberg and quiet.
About the house itself,everything super clean, great new kitchen with oven, 2 new bathrooms, 1 guest toilet, attic as a playroom for the kids. Sleeping place for the dog. In each room a washing place, that we found great.
We can only recommend the house, we felt very comfortable and would come back anytime.

We have been coming to this house for over 10 years and have felt very comfortable from the very beginning.

Well maintained, spacious and clean. Includes 'My Card'.

Two families used the house (8, partly 10p). Sufficient space and everything in good clean beds.
Reception in preheated kitchen. Kitchen very well equipped and everything in good order. Unfortunately, we could only ski for 1 day due to the wet and warm weather. That suffering was alleviated by the 'Mein Card' requested by Frau Biedermann for all of us. Free access to around 100 activities throughout Hessen. Not just gimmicks but tropical swimming pools, tours, museum access, etc. That is a big advantage over renting slightly closer to Winterberg. That's Nordrhein-Westfalen and they don't have such a Card there. :) It almost made up for our non-skiing week. Top!
Skiing in Willingen is less extensive than in Winterberg, but it is clear that Willingen is well visited throughout the year and is oriented towards wider entertainment, shopping, and gastronomy, not just the winter season like in WB.
All in all, highly recommended. We were very satisfied!

New Year's weekend with friends

Great kitchen for someone who enjoys cooking (like us). With a nice, large, round table and fireplace. The furniture in the living room is still expandable. It would be good to have a bathroom in the attic. All in all, the house was well suited for our short trip with 9 people.

Prima large holiday home in Usseln

The house can easily be inhabited by 3 families and has 3 bedrooms on the 1st floor and 3 bathrooms. You can also use the washing machine yourself in between.

It lacks nothing, and there is also a fantastic play attic for the youngest ones with a puppet theater and lots of toys for various ages.

We have been coming here for years.

Absolutely suitable for groups!

We were in the house with 11 people for 4 days and we liked it very much!
The rooms are well equipped and the 3 bathrooms saved everyone waiting time before showering.
The kitchen is well equipped for larger groups, and there is plenty of room for a large table in the dining room.

Very well-equipped holiday home in a beautiful location just outside of Willingen.
The house is very well equipped with plenty of space and a new, spacious, and well-equipped kitchen. A "nostalgic" dining room invites you to sing along with an old record player and matching LPs from the 60s and 70s.
The location is optimal. You are slightly away from the hustle and bustle, but not so far that you cannot reach the main village of Willingen on foot during a lovely hike. The landlord provides the Willingen-Plus Card, which allows you to use public transportation for free, as well as the local outdoor pool and many other inclusive services available in the summer.

Great weekend with 10 people already for the 10th time

This was the 10th time we stayed in the holiday home with 10 people and it won't be the last.
The house is very well equipped. Mrs Biedermann is always very friendly and helpful and always accommodates us. The price-performance ratio is also right. All in all, a well-rounded experience!
As a bonus, we got the "Meine Card plus" with which we could use the Ettelsberg cable car and the train to Willingen for free.
All in all, we had a great weekend in Usseln/Willingen despite Corona.

We stayed at the holiday home as a family with 3 generations! It is top equipped and lovingly furnished. It is located about 5 minutes by car from Willingen. If you are looking for hustle and bustle, it is not far, but if you prefer it quieter, it is just right. Perfect

We had another family weekend over Easter. This time with 11 people in one house and it was great. Everyone from 6 to 53 years old felt very comfortable. The house is partly old but very functional. I would like to emphasise the cleanliness of the whole house. There are also 3 parking spaces directly at the house. The area can be explored by bus and train free of charge thanks to the gift of the 'Meine Card Plus'. Many leisure activities are also free of charge with this card. In short, a great weekend with a very nice hostess.
It will not be our last holiday there.

Family weekend

We were in the house with 3 generations, 11 people in total. Aged from 11 to 80, there was enough space for everyone. With 3 bathrooms, there was no stress in the morning. We all enjoyed it so much! We can only give the full number of stars in all criteria. It became particularly cozy when we lit the oven in the kitchen. Everyone should try this crackling and warm feeling on a cold winter day once. The only point of criticism is the partially squeaky and loud doors, which can surely be improved with some oil and rubber seal. We will definitely come back!!!

A weekend in Willingen Usseln

We were 11 people in the house and there was enough space for everyone. We wanted to spend time together and not go out partying in Willingen. The house was perfect for that, with a walk to the Diemelquelle and the Graf Stolberghütte as part of the program, as well as a visit to the Curioseum. This was free for everyone thanks to the myCard Willingen.

We would rent this guesthouse again at any time.

A somewhat different group weekend

For 12 women from a women's shooting team from Oberhausen Buschhausen, the slightly unusual accommodation in a holiday home was simply fantastic. Mrs. Biedermann's holiday home offered us so much space and freedom inside and out that you just have to feel comfortable there. We had our own 4-star breakfast at a shared table with bread roll service and a running coffee machine with a morning shower beforehand, spread across multiple bathrooms. Even during the other times of day, we all had a lot of fun together in the house and also in the surroundings of Willingen-Usseln. A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Biedermann, hoping that we may come back again.

Immer wieder schön

We have been coming to Haus Biedermann with three families for nine years. The children are now 12 years old but still feel very comfortable here. The house is so spacious that the kids have already tried out various sleeping arrangements. There are activities for every age group. The adults also feel very comfortable here. In the evenings, we cook and play games together. Shopping, even for bread in the morning, is not a problem. Every year there is an innovation in the house. This year a new beautiful bathroom and a modern wallpaper in the dining room and a new wardrobe. The contact with the hostess is very good. She is very flexible and helpful. You can do a lot, swim, ice skate, archery, climb, blow glass, etc.

Schön großes Ferienhaus

The house is very large and well equipped: dishwasher, two refrigerators, washing machine, TV room, oven, etc. - you actually miss nothing here. The furnishings are visually somewhat old-fashioned but all in good condition. The bathroom on the first floor is freshly renovated and very nice. Since the house 'only' has two bathrooms, one has to expect longer waiting times for showers with large travel groups. It is advantageous here that almost every room has its own sink where you can brush your teeth.

We also booked breakfast additionally. Here you can find everything your heart desires: from rolls, various types of bread, cold cuts, cheese, etc. There is also muesli, curd cheese, coffee, tea, and juice. The table is always lovingly set by Mrs. Biedermann personally, and the food is very delicious.

The holiday home is located away from the well-known party mile. If you want to visit these places in Willingen, you will have to rely on public transportation, which, however, does not offer optimal schedules. For calmer, more relaxed stays or hiking vacations, the location is perfect.

If you are interested in experiencing some culture, the Willingen-Card is highly recommended as it offers many advantages and discounts.

All in all, the stay was very pleasant.
I can definitely recommend Mrs. Biedermann and her vacation home.

Ferienhaus Biedermann

The house is equipped with everything necessary and very clean. One must be a little careful with their feet as there are many steps, the same applies to the head of a taller person as the door frames are relatively low. Smoking is allowed, but as a non-smoker, it's nice when smokers go outside and there is no cold smoke in the air. We had a small dog with us, which was no problem at all, there is even a food bowl and a water bowl. The dishwasher provides good service. We were 9 people there and managed well. It is a bit unfortunate that the toilet and shower/bath are in the same room, so one has to organize oneself. 2 toilets can be a bit tight, especially when living there with the maximum number of people. As I said, coordination is necessary here. The breakfast is abundant and very tasty. Bread, rolls, butter, jam, cheese, cold cuts, muesli, coffee, tea, water, orange juice, and more were fresh every day and in more than sufficient quantity. If something was really eaten up, it was immediately replenished.
Upon arrival, we were handed the "MeineCard Plus," which is really worth real money, you just have to use it. We were on site for a week and took advantage of several offers in the area, saving a lot of admission fees. Usually, it is at the respective checkout, otherwise just ask. Our group was very satisfied with the accommodation and the house, as well as with the breakfast and the service. Mrs. Biedermann is very warm and helpful in all respects. The value for money for the house and breakfast is very good. We can fully recommend the vacation home and would immediately choose it again if needed.

Christmas With Family

We stayed there over Christmas with 7 adults and 4 children. The rooms spread over 3 floors were just right for us. The large playroom in the attic was very popular with the kids. The furnishings are not the newest, but we felt very comfortable there. The meine Card+ Willingen was a great benefit for our family. The house has a great location and several bedrooms, all equipped with washbasins. The furniture is quite old but everything is clean! The house is also quite old and therefore very cozy! The equipment is great, everything is there: microwave, towels, a few spices, dish soap, etc.
We really enjoyed our stay! The Willingen Card was especially great, and we used it a lot!

Vicinity of the holiday home: Usseln liegt 5 km von Willingen entfernt, wo viel los ist. Aber auch sonst bietet die Umgebung für jeden etwas!

free time activities: Alles ist möglich: Wandern, Kultut, Sport, Party...

shopping facilities: Für den täglichen Bedarf gibt es alles. Zum Shoppen eher nicht.

Beautiful base for winter sports in Willingen.

We stayed here with 2 families for 5 days. It is a lovely house, with plenty of space and play opportunities for the children. The distance to Willingen is 5 minutes by car, so very manageable. We had a wonderful holiday in a lovely house, definitely worth repeating! Thank you, Mrs. Biedermann, for everything!!

we are looking forward to the next New Year's Eve

For the umpteenth time, we (6 adults with 5 children) were able to spend a relaxing week at this beautiful holiday home over New Year. The cozy living kitchen is the meeting point for warming up with cocoa and coffee after skiing, sledding, or walks. The central location to shopping facilities, restaurants, and Willingen is great. We hope to have many more beautiful and relaxing holidays in the future.

free time activities: Wir hatten bis jezt tolles Winterwetter. Die Kinder haben das Skifahren in Usseln gelernt und wir haben die Spaziergänge durch die Winterlandschaft genossen.

shopping facilities: Lage des FH sehr gut - Aldi, Rewe, Bäcker, Schlecker, Apotheke - alles fußläufig erreichbar.

Ski vacation near Biedermann.

The house is fantastic, we were there with 12 people. We were lucky with the snow so we could go skiing every day, and it's very pleasant to come back to a warm fireplace. Absolutely fantastic, we will be back next year.

Toller Familienurlaub

We have already stayed in the quaint house twice now. It is perfect for a large family with children. Upstairs there is a great playroom. Additionally, it is located on a quiet street with few cars.

Ein schönes WE

Last year, we stayed in the house with 10 adults and we really liked it. The furnishings are not brand new, but there is a lot of space and it was very clean! We will definitely go back there this year!
