The apartment has a living space of 60 square meters and can accommodate 4 persons.
There is one bedroom with a queen size bed, a bedroom with two single beds. Furthermore, a living room with flat-screen TV, an open kitchen with Ceramfeld stove, refrigerator with freezer and a washing machine, and a bathroom with separate toilet.
There is a small balcony and you can reach the apartment via an outside staircase, as it is located on the first floor.
The apartment is very well equipped.
Bed linen is included in the price, the beds are made upon arrival. Towels you need to bring.

Location and surroundings of object
This former farmhouse is on the outskirts, close to the forest. There are numerous, beautiful hiking trails, which begin in part at the house, to the High Vosges.
Nearby there are many ruins, the restored Hochkönigsburg, the Alsace wine route with its picturesque streets and houses, Kintzheim with outdoor enclosure for 200 monkeys, birds of prey demonstrations at the castle, Stork breeding in Hunawihr and more.
Alsace is not only known for its many festivals and markets, which are distributed throughout the year, but also for its hospitality, the delicious cuisine and the wonderful wines.
In summer, the houses are adorned with bright red geraniums hanging. In autumn, when the trees and vines have become colorful, you can taste the new wine after a beautiful hike, with fresh nuts and a piece of delicious onion.

Central location for Alsace and the Vosges.
The apartment is ideally located for trips in Alsace. The description is spot on. As a couple, we had plenty of space, even when it rained. In the rural surroundings, we felt very comfortable far away from the tourist hustle and bustle. The good care by the landlords is exemplary in every respect and was a great help for us - without knowledge of French. Fresh baguette from the baker every morning on foot and for larger purchases to Super U by car. We lacked nothing. Thank you very much, Family Meyer!

Charming flair

The first time in Alsace
We (parents with two teenage children) were in Alsace for the first time. We found the apartment without any problems thanks to the navigation system. There was a very nice welcome from the hostess, to our delight, all in German. The apartment was exactly like in the pictures, very clean and absolutely satisfactory for our needs! With the car and navigation system, we (newcomers in France) got along well and visited many recommended destinations (Marco Polo travel guide). A dream for friends of medieval architecture, and then the beautiful surroundings, we were thrilled! The people were all very friendly, and you can manage well even without extensive knowledge of French. Many thanks again to the hostess and her sons, this vacation will remain unforgettable! !

Experience holiday in Alsace
We spent 1 week in the apartment with 2 adults and 2 children. The location of the apartment in a beautiful hilly environment is very convenient for many activities. The landlady is very helpful and provided us with information about shopping opportunities, restaurants, and places worth visiting. We found her hospitality very pleasant. We felt very comfortable in the apartment.

Great starting point for exploring Alsace.
The holiday apartment is very well equipped and nicely furnished for 3-4 people, mostly with beautiful wooden furniture. It is part of an old farmhouse, so homemade jams and eggs are available fresh from the farm. The very helpful host, Mrs. Meyer, speaks German, which can get you by in a pinch at the bakery in the village ;-) The village is - like most villages in Alsace - very pretty, with the small church of St. above on a hill. Gilles, from where you can enjoy a first beautiful view over the landscape. In the mornings, it can get a bit noisy with the window open, as a country road passes by the house.
The apartment is a great starting point for exploring Alsace. It is centrally located in every way. In the surrounding area, you have sights such as Haut Koenigsbourg, endless forests, hills, and mountains on one side, and quick access to the Rhine Valley with highway connections to places like. Obernai or Strasbourg to the north, or to Colmar in the south. The "real" Vosges are also quickly reached (hiking trails with wonderful views, visitor mines (you also need a sweater in the summer), ski slopes, cycling opportunities, etc).
One thing you may need to get used to: shopping options seem underrepresented or hidden throughout the area. If you come across a supermarket, grab the opportunity, otherwise you will end up like us at the beginning in a Norma or Lidl - nothing worth traveling to France for. The markets (list in the apartment) are also an option, especially fruit and vegetable shops seem to be a rarity. We discovered farmer's markets along the road too late - they should be included. Eating and drinking are of course part of the mandatory program, wine tasting at a local winemaker included. After each beautiful day trip, we were able to recharge in our holiday apartment for the plans of the next day :-)

Zu den Supermärkten muss ich als Vermieterin etwas hinzu fügen. Keine 5 km von der Ferienwohnung entfernt befindet sich der Supermarkt "Super U", mit einem sehr reichhaltigen Angebot, welches von alles Gästen, speziell aus Deutschland, mit viel Freude genutzt wird. In Villé selbst, 5 km entfernt, gibt es mehrere Bäcker, einen Metzger, zwei Gemüseläden.
Wochenmärkte finden fast in jedem größeren Ort statt.
Keine 200 m von uns gibt es den Dorfbäcker, der auch ein kleines Angebot an verschiedenen Lebensmitteln hat.
