Description
The apartment has a living space of 60 square meters and can accommodate 4 persons.
There is one bedroom with a queen size bed, a bedroom with two single beds. Furthermore, a living room with flat-screen TV, an open kitchen with Ceramfeld stove, refrigerator with freezer and a washing machine, and a bathroom with separate toilet.
There is a small balcony and you can reach the apartment via an outside staircase, as it is located on the first floor.
The apartment is very well equipped.
Bed linen is included in the price, the beds are made upon arrival. Towels you need to bring.

Location and surroundings of object
This former farmhouse is on the outskirts, close to the forest. There are numerous, beautiful hiking trails, which begin in part at the house, to the High Vosges.
Nearby there are many ruins, the restored Hochkönigsburg, the Alsace wine route with its picturesque streets and houses, Kintzheim with outdoor enclosure for 200 monkeys, birds of prey demonstrations at the castle, Stork breeding in Hunawihr and more.
Alsace is not only known for its many festivals and markets, which are distributed throughout the year, but also for its hospitality, the delicious cuisine and the wonderful wines.
In summer, the houses are adorned with bright red geraniums hanging. In autumn, when the trees and vines have become colorful, you can taste the new wine after a beautiful hike, with fresh nuts and a piece of delicious onion.

Discovering Alsace
The accommodation is ideally located for all kinds of activities. Whether it's trips to tourist hotspots like Colmar, Obernai, or Strasbourg, a boat ride with a longboat from "Le Batelier du Ried" in Muttersholtz, or heading into nature to collect mushrooms or berries, or exploring the Vosges with its many castles, everything is very easily accessible.
Little tip for a visit to Haut Koenigsbourg: There is a shuttle bus (line 500) from Selestat to the castle. Departure in front of the train station, buy a ticket on the bus. The fare for a round trip (currently €5) is credited to the entrance ticket. This not only saves you €1 but also a lot of nerves when it comes to parking and walking. There are two free parking lots right by the train station.
We were warmly welcomed at our accommodation. Since our French knowledge ends after a few basic terms, we were glad to be greeted in German. Heartfelt thanks once again to the Meyer family.
At the bakery in the village, you can also hear supportive German while shopping. However, you are welcome to try speaking in French as well.
The accommodation is well-equipped and impeccably clean, as described.
The Meyer family truly does everything to ensure that the vacationers lack nothing.
The apartment can also be kept quite cool even at high temperatures thanks to the shutters. We therefore felt very, very comfortable.

Central location for Alsace and the Vosges.
The apartment is ideally located for trips in Alsace. The description is spot on. As a couple, we had plenty of space, even when it rained. In the rural surroundings, we felt very comfortable far away from the tourist hustle and bustle. The good care by the landlords is exemplary in every respect and was a great help for us - without knowledge of French. Fresh baguette from the baker every morning on foot and for larger purchases to Super U by car. We lacked nothing. Thank you very much, Family Meyer!

Charming flair

The first time in Alsace
We (parents with two teenage children) were in Alsace for the first time. We found the apartment without any problems thanks to the navigation system. There was a very nice welcome from the hostess, to our delight, all in German. The apartment was exactly like in the pictures, very clean and absolutely satisfactory for our needs! With the car and navigation system, we (newcomers in France) got along well and visited many recommended destinations (Marco Polo travel guide). A dream for friends of medieval architecture, and then the beautiful surroundings, we were thrilled! The people were all very friendly, and you can manage well even without extensive knowledge of French. Many thanks again to the hostess and her sons, this vacation will remain unforgettable! !

Experience holiday in Alsace
We spent 1 week in the apartment with 2 adults and 2 children. The location of the apartment in a beautiful hilly environment is very convenient for many activities. The landlady is very helpful and provided us with information about shopping opportunities, restaurants, and places worth visiting. We found her hospitality very pleasant. We felt very comfortable in the apartment.
