Description
The apartment, with 70 sqm, accommodates a maximum of 5 people plus a toddler. It has a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with three single beds, and a crib.
Additionally, there is a children's high chair, flat-screen TV, washing machine, and a fitted kitchen with a dishwasher, large refrigerator, oven, and gas stove.
The apartment has a terrace with a table and benches and leads to a lawn with swings and a seesaw.
A ping pong table is available. Bed linen is included in the rental price, and the beds will already be made upon your arrival.
You need to bring your own towels.
A baby cot and a high chair are available upon request.

Location and surroundings of object
This former farmhouse is on the outskirts, close to the forest. There are numerous, beautiful hiking trails, which begin in part at the house, to the High Vosges.
Nearby there are many ruins, the restored Hochkönigsburg, the Alsace wine route with its picturesque streets and houses, Kintzheim with outdoor enclosure for 200 monkeys, birds of prey demonstrations at the castle, Stork breeding in Hunawihr and more.
Alsace is not only known for its many festivals and markets, which are distributed throughout the year, but also for its hospitality, the delicious cuisine and the wonderful wines.
In summer, the houses are adorned with bright red geraniums hanging. In autumn, when the trees and vines have become colorful, you can taste the new wine after a long hike, with fresh nuts and a piece of onion.

Cancellation terms:

Vacation on the Farm
We were in this holiday home next to a small campsite in September. Although the house is right by the road, it was very quiet.
Our beds were great! We slept very well in them!
Our landlord gave us helpful tips and was very warm and friendly.
The only downside now and then was the Wi-Fi. Sometimes the connection was great, sometimes less so, but we often experience that at home as well.
All in all, it was a lovely vacation here! We are happy to come back!

If you are looking for a family atmosphere, beautiful nature, and warm hospitality, you are in the right place!
We are a family of three and spent three wonderful weeks on vacation in the holiday apartment. We were warmly welcomed and felt comfortable right away. The apartment is spacious and functional. It has everything you need for self-catering. Both the kitchen and the general household area have been well thought out. The host family also offered their help if anything was missing. They live right next door and are practically available at all times. The outdoor area, thanks to the adjacent camping site, is generous and, above all, a paradise for children to romp and play. There are numerous seating areas and outdoor furniture available, and both shade and sun spots are provided. The attention to detail can be seen in many places with partially antique decorations typical of the Alsace region.
In addition to this beautiful spot on earth, the immense hospitality and helpfulness of Heide and Pascal deserve special mention. They go far beyond the relationship between host and guest, and yet they do not overdo it in the least. Due to a breakdown, we were forced to communicate repeatedly with a garage, and they always helped us with translating and researching. In the end, we had to leave the car in France, and they offered us, without being asked, to leave parts of our luggage on site, which they kept safe for us. The tireless help continued throughout our stay, and Heide and Pascal also helped us with communication with the garage. We are very grateful for that. We appreciate their selfless dedication. It went far beyond any expectations.

Cosy flat for hiking enthusiasts
We felt very comfortable in the tastefully and functionally furnished flat. The beautiful old furniture fits well with the partial wood panelling of the walls and the half-timbering that is also visible inside. Even at 30° outside, the rooms were not too warm and the north-facing terrace was shady. The landlady is very friendly and pleasantly reserved
The flat is in a quiet location, yet convenient for sightseeing (Colmar, Strasbourg, Selestat) and hiking on the edge of the Vosges. The local bakery is highly recommended.
