Description
The apartment, with 70 sqm, accommodates a maximum of 5 people plus a toddler. It has a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with three single beds, and a crib.
Additionally, there is a children's high chair, flat-screen TV, washing machine, and a fitted kitchen with a dishwasher, large refrigerator, oven, and gas stove.
The apartment has a terrace with a table and benches and leads to a lawn with swings and a seesaw.
A ping pong table is available. Bed linen is included in the rental price, and the beds will already be made upon your arrival.
You need to bring your own towels.
A baby cot and a high chair are available upon request.

Location and surroundings of object
This former farmhouse is on the outskirts, close to the forest. There are numerous, beautiful hiking trails, which begin in part at the house, to the High Vosges.
Nearby there are many ruins, the restored Hochkönigsburg, the Alsace wine route with its picturesque streets and houses, Kintzheim with outdoor enclosure for 200 monkeys, birds of prey demonstrations at the castle, Stork breeding in Hunawihr and more.
Alsace is not only known for its many festivals and markets, which are distributed throughout the year, but also for its hospitality, the delicious cuisine and the wonderful wines.
In summer, the houses are adorned with bright red geraniums hanging. In autumn, when the trees and vines have become colorful, you can taste the new wine after a long hike, with fresh nuts and a piece of onion.

Vacation on the Farm
We were in this holiday home next to a small campsite in September. Although the house is right by the road, it was very quiet.
Our beds were great! We slept very well in them!
Our landlord gave us helpful tips and was very warm and friendly.
The only downside now and then was the Wi-Fi. Sometimes the connection was great, sometimes less so, but we often experience that at home as well.
All in all, it was a lovely vacation here! We are happy to come back!

Vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung. Leider ist es in der von Ihnen gemieteten Woche 3x zu einem Stromausfall gekommen, weshalb sich das Internet wieder neu aufbauen musste. Das lag nicht an uns, sondern am öffentlichen Stromnetz.

If you are looking for a family atmosphere, beautiful nature, and warm hospitality, you are in the right place!
We are a family of three and spent three wonderful weeks on vacation in the holiday apartment. We were warmly welcomed and felt comfortable right away. The apartment is spacious and functional. It has everything you need for self-catering. Both the kitchen and the general household area have been well thought out. The host family also offered their help if anything was missing. They live right next door and are practically available at all times. The outdoor area, thanks to the adjacent camping site, is generous and, above all, a paradise for children to romp and play. There are numerous seating areas and outdoor furniture available, and both shade and sun spots are provided. The attention to detail can be seen in many places with partially antique decorations typical of the Alsace region.
In addition to this beautiful spot on earth, the immense hospitality and helpfulness of Heide and Pascal deserve special mention. They go far beyond the relationship between host and guest, and yet they do not overdo it in the least. Due to a breakdown, we were forced to communicate repeatedly with a garage, and they always helped us with translating and researching. In the end, we had to leave the car in France, and they offered us, without being asked, to leave parts of our luggage on site, which they kept safe for us. The tireless help continued throughout our stay, and Heide and Pascal also helped us with communication with the garage. We are very grateful for that. We appreciate their selfless dedication. It went far beyond any expectations.

Cosy flat for hiking enthusiasts
We felt very comfortable in the tastefully and functionally furnished flat. The beautiful old furniture fits well with the partial wood panelling of the walls and the half-timbering that is also visible inside. Even at 30° outside, the rooms were not too warm and the north-facing terrace was shady. The landlady is very friendly and pleasantly reserved
The flat is in a quiet location, yet convenient for sightseeing (Colmar, Strasbourg, Selestat) and hiking on the edge of the Vosges. The local bakery is highly recommended.

Unsere Betten waren super! Wir haben darin sehr gut geschlafen!
Unser Vermieter hat uns hilfreiche tolle Tipps gegeben und war sehr herzlich und freundlich.
Das einzige Manko hin und wieder war das W-LAN. Mal hat man eine super, mal eine weniger gute Verbindung, aber das haben wir zu Hause auch öfters.
Alles in allem war es ein schöner Urlaub hier! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Besonders hervorzuheben ist neben diesem wunderschönen Fleckchen Erde die immense Gastfreundschaft und Hilfsbereitschaft von Heide und Pascal. Sie gehen weit über das Verhältnis zwischen Gastwirt und Gast hinaus und sind trotzdem kein bisschen zuviel. Wir waren aufgrund einer Autopanne gezwungen immer wieder mit einer Werkstatt zu kommunizieren, sie haben hier stets beim Übersetzen und Recherchieren geholfen. Schlussendlich mussten wir den Wagen in Frankreich zurücklassen und es wurde uns ungefragt und selbstverständlich angeboten, Teile unseres Reisegepäcks vor Ort zu lassen, wobei sie unsere Sachen sicher verwahrt haben. Die unerschöpfliche Hilfe dauerte auch über unseren Aufenthalt an und weiter haben Heide und Pascal uns bei der Kommunikation mit der Werkstatt geholfen. Wir sind sehr dankbar dafür. Wir schätzen den selbstlosen Einsatz. Er ging weit über jede Erwartung hinaus.
Die Wohnung liegt ruhig und doch verkehrsgünstig zu Städtebesichtigungen (Colmar, Straßburg, Selestat) und Wanderungen am Rand der Vogesen. Die Bäckerei am Ort ist sehr zu empfehlen.
Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Wohnung sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wer gerne kocht, wird sich über einen modernen Gasherd freuen.
Zu jeder Jahreszeit zu empfehlen:)
Für Kindner ideal, da sie draußen sehr gut spielen können,z.Bsp.Federball, Wippen,schaukeln usw.
Für Museumsbesuche sind z. Bsp. Straßburg und Colmar innerhalb kürzester Zeit mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen.
Ebenso gut erreichbar, sind die Wanderwege rings um Saint Pierre Bois.

Bei schönem Wetter nutzen wir gerne den Sitzplatz auf der Terrasse an der großen Wiese mit Obstbäumen und Spielgeräten. Vögel und Schmetterlinge kommen zu Besuch und abends fliegt die Fledermaus ein paar Runden.
Die Lage zwischen Colmar und Straßburg und nah an Sélestat ist aus unserer Sicht ideal. Die Weinstraße mit ihren schönen kleinen Orten ist ebenfalls gut zu erreichen. In der Umgebung gibt es schöne Wanderziele mit kurzer Anfahrt oder direkt von der Wohnung aus zu erreichen: z.B. Ortenbourg, Frankenbourg, der Ungersberg, Ribeauvillé mit seinen Burgen und die waldreiche Umgebung von St. Pierre Bois, in die man auch ohne Auto starten kann.
Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und unkompliziert, kümmert sich unaufdringlich und mit viel Hilfsbereitschaft.
Hier ist alles normal und nicht etepetete. Das gefällt uns gut und so sind wir zu "Wiederholungstätern" geworden und kommen gerne auch wieder.
