Welcome to Haus Sonnenschein
Our family-friendly, modernly equipped holiday home has a 9 m² open-plan kitchen with 2-3 additional dining places and a spacious living-dining area with a wood-burning stove. The dining table itself can be enlarged to seat up to 10 people. Enjoy atmospheric game nights by the flickering fireplace and/or turn on the TV with the Blu-Ray disc home cinema sound system.
The bathroom on the ground floor, which measures over 7 m², is equipped with a larger single washbasin, a 1X1 m ground-level shower, a fold-out wall-mounted tumble dryer and a UP digital radio. A small utility room adjoins the bathroom. Here are housed the washing machine, dryer and geothermal heat pump for the underfloor heating throughout the house as well as for hot water preparation. A door leads from the ground floor bathroom into the garden. The existing rotary clothes dryer can be set up here.
Under the stairs leading to the upper floor there is a storage room where you will find fire extinguisher, small safe, hoover, iron, ironing board, children's travel bed and first aid box.
The upper floor has three bedrooms with double beds and separate mattresses, as well as a flat-screen TV in each room. There is a permanent cot in one of the bedrooms.
The 8.5 m² bathroom on the upper floor is equipped with a double washbasin, a corner bath, a shower 1x1m and a UP digital radio.
In the converted, open 17 m² top floor there are four single beds, which can easily be stacked when not in use, so that especially the little holiday guests have more space to play. For their safety, there is a stair guard, as well as a device on both windows that allows only one tilt position. A flat-screen TV with connected Blu-Ray DVD player allows the children to play the DVDs provided or their own DVDs. So that the little holiday guests also feel comfortable with us, there are: high chairs, travel cot, crockery, cutlery, games and a handcart in the garden house.
From the living-dining area you have access to a south-west-facing terrace of more than 40 m² with six garden chairs, a bench, a large and a small table, two sunbeds and a hanging parasol. In addition, there are four folding chairs and two children's chairs. A beach chair invites you to read or take a siesta. On warm summer evenings, the barbecue fireplace offers fun for young and old. And after long bike tours or stormy days at sea, you can relax in the solid wood sauna with combi oven (classic Finnish or steam) in the garden house. There is space for bicycles/pushchairs in the storage room or under the shelter of the garden house.
The little ones can have fun on the playground opposite our holiday home. Older children can romp around in the large playground in the nearby spa park or sign up at the surfing and sailing school on the spa square, directly near the beach.
Insect screens are fitted to at least one window or door in all rooms. The electric shutters on the ground floor can be operated individually or all at once by transmitter
Three parking spaces and bicycle racks for six bikes are available at the holiday home.
You will find a well-equipped bicycle rental shop about 300 metres away.
Our holiday home is a non-smoking house and does not allow pets.
A caretaker couple on site is always available to assist holiday guests if needed.

Location and surroundings of object
Haus Sonnenschein is located in a holiday home development, Ostseepark-Glowe, which was completed in 2012.
In 10 to 12 minutes' walk, or about 900 metres, you will reach a kilometre-long sandy beach with a well-kept promenade along the shore and a small, picturesque marina, a meeting and starting point for anglers. You also have a beautiful view of Cape Arkona.
The village of Glowe, a state-recognised health resort, is in the centre of numerous sights:
spyker Castle and the Dinosaur Park, which is popular with kids, are in the immediate vicinity, Cape Arkona with the listed romantic fishing village of Vitt is approx. 20 km to the north-west, the Jasmund National Park with the Königsstuhl and its ancient beech forests, Sassnitz and Prora, approx. 25-30 km south-east, Granitz Castle, the spa resorts of Binz, Sellin and Göhren with their attractive spa architecture, and a little further south-east, the well-known Möchgut, which is particularly popular with cyclists.

| The visitor's tax is paid on site. The caretaker couple living in the holiday park can help with this. Children up to the age of 2 are not counted as the 9th and 10th person, they are free of charge. A child sleeping in a cot can be registered as the 11th person. Additional services such as bed linen, small and large towel set, small and large linen package, making up beds are available on request Guests who book for seven days or longer receive the small linen package (bed linen, one bath towel, two towels, bath mat) as a free service per person. Internet access via WLAN, use of the sauna, washing machine and dryer are free of charge. |

The holiday home was completed in early summer 2012. As we are a large family ourselves, it was designed and equipped accordingly. For example, the attic was deliberately designed to be open, as this goes down well with the kids. It has become clear that we have taken the right path. Because Haus Sonnenschein is often chosen as a holiday home by families who are friends or by families with three generations.
