It's in a great location in Dirkshorn, so many great places within a radius of max 25km! Amsterdam absolutely, Almaar and Hoorn - most beautiful cities of North Holland, lighthouse and village Marken - highly recommended!, beaches between Petten and Bergen an Zee a dream!
Your house is fully equipped, has room for 6 people; the two of us felt super comfortable! The bicycles are fully functional and in every suitable size, the garden is very beautiful, enclosed and with a wind-protected terrace. The parking space for the car is just 5m away - brilliant
Everything, from booking to check-in and check-out, was relaxed, easy and very service-oriented. Best regards to Mrs Langedijk and her husband!

Well-maintained nice bungalow with good furnishings and practical instructions. Smooth processing. Dogs allowed.
A car is needed for a beach holiday. Functional bicycles are also available on site. However, it is a bit far to the beach.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in ihrem Ferienhaus

We had a wonderful time in your holiday home. Your house is furnished with great care, and we felt very comfortable. The garden and the location were very relaxing and quiet. We had fun with the bikes, were able to get our bread in the morning, and in the evenings, we always went to Aunt Lien's to enjoy delicious soft ice cream.
The beach in Petten was very beautiful, and our boat trip to Texel was delightful. There is so much beauty and interesting things to discover. and in no time our week was over. . we left with heavy hearts. . . but we will come back. . to your wonderful holiday home.

Ein sehr gepflegtes Ferienhaus

Dear Mr. Kassner, we had a very nice time in your holiday home. Upon our arrival, the house was nicely heated, and despite the cold weather, we immediately felt comfortable. The house is very clean, and everything you need is really there. The furnishings are tasteful and high quality, and the outdoor area is spacious with garden furniture, a swing, slide, and sandbox. The park is in a good location, you can ride a bike to Schagen, Alkmaar, Callantsoog, Bergen, Schoorl, Petten, and more. Everything is easily accessible. Right in front of the park, there is a Spar market that is very well-equipped. If you have any questions or problems (which we did not have), there is a contact person in the park. This made us feel well taken care of. We definitely want to spend our vacation here again. It's a pity that the time went by so quickly, we would have liked to stay longer.

Dear family Kassner, we were able to spend a wonderful week in your bungalow during the tulip blossom, for which we would like to thank you once again. Your bungalow is beautifully furnished, well maintained and has everything you would expect in a holiday home. In summer, you can certainly spend cosy barbecue evenings on the great covered terrace. The garden is not overlooked and the bungalow is centrally located in the middle of the park with its own parking space right in front of the door. Dirkshorn is an excellent starting point for tours to the surrounding countryside and the sea. Even a trip to Delft is easily doable.
Thanks also to Laura, the good soul of the park. She was always ready to help with any questions. We would be happy to come back again. All the best to you

Super

Small but nice . We were over Christmas and New Year's Eve 5 with Mr. Kassner in the holiday home. Everything you need is there. Especially the garden with the sheltered terrace was great. A relaxing holiday spent

Hello Mr Kassner, finally I get around to writing. We felt very comfortable again in your little house! It was perfectly adequate for two people and equipped with everything we needed. Thank you for reaching out to me. I would have left a review today or tomorrow. However, my mother-in-law has been hospitalized due to a hip and shoulder fracture from a fall, which has been quite challenging as she is 85 years old.

Regarding the house, I must say that we were very pleased with everything. We were completely satisfied. I could not find anything to complain about. Especially the terrace with the lovely seating area was noteworthy. We have seen a lot, for example, cheese market, cheese museum, canal tour, historical fair in Schladen, Den Helder, and much more. Feeling comfortable all around

A great, cozy bungalow in a very well-kept park. Private parking right in front of the house. This was our third time here and it certainly won't be the last! You can just feel comfortable here. Ideal for a family holiday. You have to drive to the sea by car, but Dirkshorn is a good starting point for bike tours. Many excursions in the immediate and near surroundings.

It was a beautiful holiday.

We had a wonderful holiday in Dirkshorn. The location is very central, surrounded by vast fields, beautiful typical Dutch small towns, and of course, the nearby sea. We also cycled a lot. The park with small playgrounds was a delightful experience for our little daughter. The bungalow's facilities leave nothing to be desired. The terrace with the large awning and windbreak is particularly pleasant in the autumn. In the house Wi-Fi, DVD, satellite TV, dishwasher, all available. A small laundromat is also directly across the street. Thank you for this wonderful vacation.

A beautiful and relaxing vacation.

Very nice holiday home, well-equipped kitchen (enough dishes, pots, pans as well as toaster, oven, microwave, and much more). Living room nicely furnished with all German TV channels and also internet available. The garden has a covered glass terrace where you can sit wonderfully protected from the wind and rain. The landlord is super nice and has created a folder with lots of information about trips and the region. In the garden, there is also a sandbox and swing, as well as various things for little guests in the children's room. We had a nice holiday and would love to come back again.

Ein super Urlaub

We (parents with two small children) had a very relaxing holiday in this really beautiful vacation home! Ultimately, we chose this vacation home because of the great "children's equipment" and it was worth it. The whole vacation home is in great condition, everything you need is there and all very high quality (e.g. beds, bicycles). For the children, besides the sandbox and swing in their own garden, the trampoline and the three goats on the premises were a hit. We were positively surprised by the privacy on the terrace and in the garden, as we were expecting a more open area, but the garden is bounded by dense hedges and one is completely secluded. From the outside, this holiday home is definitely one of the most beautiful in the complex! We spoke with the landlord beforehand and also during the first week of our vacation, and we felt very well taken care of. Besides the introduction to the house, we received many good tips on activities in the area. Thanks to this, we certainly made one or two nice trips that we wouldn't have thought of on our own. Dirkshorn itself is not particularly rich in attractions, but it is a good starting point to explore all of North Holland. And the area is really great, especially during the tulip bloom season, which we got to experience the beginning of. In principle, many things are even reachable by bike, if you don't have a self-driving four-year-old with you. Then the neighboring town becomes a day trip :-). All in all, we had a very nice vacation and we can really recommend the vacation home!

A wonderful holiday in a very well-maintained house with very good facilities.

Dear Kassner family, we had a wonderful week in your house from May 26th to June 2nd, 2013 with our grandchildren, aged 2 and 4. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The house had everything we needed, including a travel cot. There were also many tips for activities in the area which were very helpful. The children loved the swing in the garden. We also enjoyed the surroundings and felt very comfortable. We would love to rent your house again! The four from Goch.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Dirkshorn liegt ca. 15 Kilometer nördlich von Alkmaar und nur gute 3 Kilometer südlich von Schagen. Der Strand ist 8 km entfernt und auch gut mit dem Auto oder dem Fahrrad zu erreichen.
Hier gibt es einen kleinen Surfsee, einen Kanuteich, ein beheiztes öffentliches Freibad, Tennisplätze, Reiterhof und viele Angelgewässer.

shopping facilities: in moderner Spar-Supermarkt mit Postagentur liegt direkt am Eingang zum Park (täglich frische Brötchen). Weitere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es im 3 Km entfernten Schagen (mit einem ALDI, einem Albert Heijn und einem Voomar-Supermarkt). In Schagen gibt es schöne Einkaufpassagen und Restaurants. Im Zentrum der kleinen Stadt gibt es ein überdachtes Ladenzentrum in dem ein lebhaftes Treiben herrscht.
Der Schagener Wochenmarkt findet jeden Donnerstag statt. Während der Sommermonate steht Schagen an zehn Donnerstagen hintereinander ganz im Zeichen westfriesischer Folklore in allen ihren Facetten: mundartliche Darbietungen, Trachten und Gebräuche mit Umzügen historischer Fahrzeuge und traditionellen Gewändern.

Since this time we were no longer traveling as a couple, but spent our first family vacation with our little daughter, we found facilities such as your baby travel cot and children's high chair particularly helpful. The house and garden are very well maintained, and in the peaceful bungalow complex, you can relax wonderfully. We explored the entire surroundings (nature, beach, and small towns), which are always very charming. We gladly used the babysitting service of your cleaning lady, allowing us to go out in the evening now and then.
