A warm welcome to the Bergblick holiday home!
In an idyllic location right by the forest, our detached holiday home in Scandinavian country house style awaits you and offers space for up to 6 people with three bedrooms. Directly adjacent to a nature reserve, on the edge of a small holiday home settlement in Extertal, it offers ideal hiking and excursion opportunities. The perfect vacation also for those seeking peace and relaxation. Our house not only offers plenty of space and comfort on 75 sqm of living area, but also scores with high-quality, tasteful furnishings. And for those who want to be ONLINE even on vacation, free Wi-Fi is also available.
Stylishly and lovingly furnished with great attention to detail, the house has 3 bedrooms: the first room with a double bed 180 x 200cm, the second room with a 140 x 200cm bed, and the third room with a bunk bed, each 90 x 190cm. In the spacious, light-filled living/dining area there is a cozy wood-burning stove that provides pleasant warmth on cool days. In addition, there are radiators in every room. The fully equipped country-style kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, and features a toaster, coffee machine, kettle, microwave, ceramic hob, refrigerator with freezer compartment, oven & dishwasher. In the attractive, modern bathroom there is a shower and toilet. A hairdryer is also provided. Directly from the living area you can access the large, south-facing and covered wooden terrace (16 sqm) as well as the beautiful garden, which invites you to relax and linger. End the day here with a glass of wine or a barbecue evening. Attractive terrace furniture, two sun loungers, and a charcoal grill complete the offer! In the adjacent, spacious storage room directly by the house, there is an ironing board as well as an iron for our guests.
The large, fenced garden is very well maintained and not only a 'little paradise' for four-legged friends, but also for children and adults. Playing, romping around, sunbathing, barbecuing—everything is possible here.
Please note that this is a non-smoking house. For smokers, the large, covered terrace is available, which also offers a place to stay in bad weather.
There is a large parking space for your car directly at the house.
Your dog is a warmly welcomed guest with us! The large, fenced property makes the holiday a safe pleasure. Relaxing hours for everyone! Beautiful walks in nature directly from the house.

Our Bergblick holiday home is located in the mountain village of Rott in the beautiful Extertal valley. In a charming location between the Teutoburg Forest & Weserbergland. From here you have ideal conditions for hikes, walks, excursions to places of interest or just to relax.
Some excursion destinations in the immediate vicinity are Hameln - the Pied Piper Town.
Detmold - Hermann monument, open-air museum, Externsteine

Pure relaxation
We spent a week with our dog in this holiday home. It is well equipped and clean. We were very lucky with the weather, so we could make great use of the fenced garden. There is a forest nearby and many hiking options. We felt really comfortable. Ms. Grabe is a very nice landlord. We would love to come back again.

Family holiday with dog and child
We enjoyed a week in this cosy holiday home very much. The location, the tranquillity and the cosiness of the accommodation alone make you relax immediately. The completely fenced garden is very practical, so that the four-legged friends can sniff around in the garden without worrying. The Swedish stove is also a big plus, especially when it cools down outside. The warm welcome and the courteous and friendly support with questions or concerns was very nice and friendly. We would have liked to extend our stay spontaneously, but unfortunately this was not possible. The accommodation is saved with us for future holidays.

Cozy holiday home in a quiet environment
We had a beautiful and pleasant week at the Bergblick holiday home. The house is very cozy and very clean. Many nice hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity. The contact with the landlady is uncomplicated and very friendly. Even our dog Yara felt comfortable here. Thank you for everything :-)

Pure relaxation 10 stars plus
In March we were already in Haus Talblick and now in Haus Bergblick and everything is just wonderful. Perfect hosts, excellent holiday homes and endless hiking possibilities. The properties are completely fenced in, a dream for every dog owner. We have already explored a lot, e.g. the Patensteig, the great hiking trail 12 km "Wilddiebsroute", the Schnattergang (on this hiking trail you find magically painted tree roots and stones), the Kasselweg, etc. At this point, we would also like to praise all the hard-working helpers and path keepers who look after and maintain the hiking paths. There is still much to explore and we will be back next year
