A warm welcome to the Talblick holiday home!
Far from through traffic, at the end of a cul-de-sac, our detached holiday home in Scandinavian country house style awaits you and offers, with three bedrooms, ample space for up to 6 people. Directly adjacent to a nature reserve, on the edge of a small holiday home settlement in Extertal, it offers optimal hiking and excursion opportunities. A paradise for nature lovers! Tastefully and comfortably furnished; the house has 3 bedrooms. In the large living/dining area there is a Danish wood-burning stove, which provides cozy warmth on cool days. Additionally, there are electric heaters in every room. A large flat-screen TV and a stereo system provide entertainment. The fully equipped country-style kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, and features a toaster, coffee machine, kettle, microwave, ceramic hob, oven, refrigerator with small freezer compartment & dishwasher. In the bathroom there is a walk-in shower and toilet. A hairdryer is also provided. Directly from the living area you can access the beautiful, south-facing and covered wooden terrace (16 sqm) as well as the idyllic and beautifully landscaped garden, which invites you to relax and linger. Comfortable terrace furniture, 2 sun loungers and a charcoal grill are also waiting for you.
In the adjacent, spacious storage room there is an ironing board and iron available for our guests.
Please note that this is a non-smoking house. For smokers, the covered terrace is available, which also offers a place to stay in bad weather. There is a parking space for your car directly at the house.
Your dog is a warmly welcomed guest with us – beautiful walks in nature start right from the house!

Our Talblick holiday home is located in the idyllic mountain village of Rott in the beautiful Extertal valley. Adjacent to the Teutoburg Forest/Weserbergland. From here you have ideal conditions for hikes, walks, excursions to places of interest or simply to relax.

Thank you for everything!
Thank you for the warm welcome. The landlords are really great and the communication is first-class. The house invites you to feel comfortable. We felt at home immediately. Alfi and Pino, and of course we, loved this great garden. The terrace invited us to have game nights and meals, very cozy. There are great hiking trails, but you should be in good health for them. Since my husband and I have physical limitations, we couldn't use them. It's a shame that the restaurant was closed, we would have liked to use it. Thank you very much and best regards from Lindlar.

It doesn't get any better than this!
I would also like to give 10 stars for each category. The holiday home is really top. Super location for hiking, great view from the garden, everything tip-top clean! You come in and feel at home. Our dog also loved the area and the house. I would also like to mention the attentive and very kind landlords. Here, too, everything was perfect. We will be happy to come back and definitely soon...

Even on vacation, rain can be beautiful.
Unfortunately, we had the bad luck that the rain arrived with our arrival at the holiday home and rarely disappeared throughout the week. Despite everything, it was a nice week. The house is equipped in a way that you don't need to leave it for a day or two. You can enjoy the view from the terrace and just listen to the birds. We would love to come back and hope for better weather next time.

The house is in a very idyllic and peaceful location. Pure nature! Very nice owners, we didn't miss anything. The house is very clean and without technical flaws. The view from the terrace is beautiful!

Grade 1a for holiday home and landlord
The description of the holiday home promised a lot for a nice holiday. Sometimes you are a little disappointed when you get there, but not here. The high expectations from the description were even exceeded. On arrival, we received a personal welcome from the very friendly landlady, followed by a more than detailed briefing. After the briefing, we received a telephone number from the landlady where we could contact her at any time if we had any problems, but this was never necessary.
The house and garden corresponded 100% to the description and the pictures. The very beautiful outdoor area was well maintained and equipped with plenty of garden furniture. The house itself was superbly furnished and all the furnishings and accessories were colour-coordinated. Crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and much more were plentiful and very clean.
In general, my wife and I immediately agreed that this was the cleanest holiday home we had ever stayed in. We would like to emphasise the personal, written and telephone contact with the landlords (mother and daughter) during the entire period, starting with the holiday planning up to the end of the holiday with a personal farewell.
This was definitely not the last time we stayed in this beautiful holiday home!
