Description
Far from through traffic, at the end of a cul-de-sac, our detached holiday home awaits you with a fantastic, unobstructable panoramic view of the valley, the forest, and the meadows! Directly adjacent to a nature reserve, on the edge of a small holiday home settlement in Extertal, it offers optimal conditions to escape everyday life and fully enjoy nature together with your dog! Numerous beautiful hiking trails start directly from the house!
And your dog is a warmly welcomed guest with us and enjoys the advantage of moving freely and off-leash on the large, fenced property as much as he likes! Luxury vacation for him!
Tastefully and comfortably furnished in Scandinavian country house style; the holiday home has 3 bedrooms and offers enough space for up to 5 people. In the appealing living area there is a Danish wood-burning stove, which provides cozy warmth on cool days. Additionally, there are electric heaters in every room. A large flat-screen TV and a stereo system provide entertainment. Wi-Fi is available to our guests free of charge in the house. The fully equipped country-style kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, and features a toaster, coffee machine, microwave, electric kettle, ceramic hob, oven, refrigerator with small freezer compartment & dishwasher. In the bathroom there is a walk-in shower and a toilet.
Directly from the living area you reach the large, south-facing and covered wooden terrace (16 sqm) as well as the idyllic garden, which invites you to relax and linger. Comfortable terrace furniture, 2 sun loungers, and a charcoal grill are also available for you.
A parking space for your car is located directly at the holiday home.
Please note that this is a non-smoking house. For smokers, the covered terrace is available, which also offers a place to stay in bad weather.

Our Talblick holiday home is located in the idyllic mountain village of Rott in the beautiful Extertal valley. Adjacent to the Teutoburg Forest/Weserbergland. From here you have ideal conditions for hikes, walks, excursions to places of interest or simply to relax.

Thank you for everything!
Thank you for the warm welcome. The landlords are really great and the communication is first-class. The house invites you to feel comfortable. We felt at home immediately. Alfi and Pino, and of course we, loved this great garden. The terrace invited us to have game nights and meals, very cozy. There are great hiking trails, but you should be in good health for them. Since my husband and I have physical limitations, we couldn't use them. It's a shame that the restaurant was closed, we would have liked to use it. Thank you very much and best regards from Lindlar.

It doesn't get any better than this!
I would also like to give 10 stars for each category. The holiday home is really top. Super location for hiking, great view from the garden, everything tip-top clean! You come in and feel at home. Our dog also loved the area and the house. I would also like to mention the attentive and very kind landlords. Here, too, everything was perfect. We will be happy to come back and definitely soon...

Even on vacation, rain can be beautiful.
Unfortunately, we had the bad luck that the rain arrived with our arrival at the holiday home and rarely disappeared throughout the week. Despite everything, it was a nice week. The house is equipped in a way that you don't need to leave it for a day or two. You can enjoy the view from the terrace and just listen to the birds. We would love to come back and hope for better weather next time.

The house is in a very idyllic and peaceful location. Pure nature! Very nice owners, we didn't miss anything. The house is very clean and without technical flaws. The view from the terrace is beautiful!

Grade 1a for holiday home and landlord
The description of the holiday home promised a lot for a nice holiday. Sometimes you are a little disappointed when you get there, but not here. The high expectations from the description were even exceeded. On arrival, we received a personal welcome from the very friendly landlady, followed by a more than detailed briefing. After the briefing, we received a telephone number from the landlady where we could contact her at any time if we had any problems, but this was never necessary.
The house and garden corresponded 100% to the description and the pictures. The very beautiful outdoor area was well maintained and equipped with plenty of garden furniture. The house itself was superbly furnished and all the furnishings and accessories were colour-coordinated. Crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and much more were plentiful and very clean.
In general, my wife and I immediately agreed that this was the cleanest holiday home we had ever stayed in. We would like to emphasise the personal, written and telephone contact with the landlords (mother and daughter) during the entire period, starting with the holiday planning up to the end of the holiday with a personal farewell.
This was definitely not the last time we stayed in this beautiful holiday home!

Trotz allem war es eine schöne Woche. Das Haus ist so ausgestattet, das man es ein oder zwei Tage auch mal nicht verlassen muss. Man kann den Ausblick von der Terrasse genießen und einfach mal den Vögeln zuhören.
Wir kommen gerne wieder und hoffen dann auf besseres Wetter.
Wir können nur sagen das Frau Wiggins eine sehr nette und kompetente Vermieterin ist. Wir hatten schon bei der Buchung das Gefühl als würden wir uns bereits kennen. Als wir dann leider stornieren mussten hat Frau Wiggins sofort reagiert und die Zeit wieder freigegeben und uns fortlaufend informiert. Als sich dann ganz kurzfristig ein neuer Gast gemeldet hat, hatten wir unser Geld in voller Höhe am nächsten Tag schon wieder auf dem Konto. Wir können nur Danke sagen für ihren Einsatz und ihr Verständnis und hoffen das wir baldmöglichst wieder bei ihnen buchen dürfen und dann das Ferienhaus und sie persönlich kennenlernen können. Haus und Garten entsprachen zu 100% der Bescchreibung und den Bildern. Der sehr schöne Aussenbereich war gepflegt und mit reichlich Gartenmöbeln ausgestattet. Das Haus selbst war prima eingerichtet und alle Einrichtungsgegenstände und Accessoires waren farblich passend abgestimmt. Geschirr, Besteck, Töpfe, Pfannen und vieles mehr waren ausreichend vorhanden und sehr sauber.
Überhaupt, meine Frau und ich waren uns sofort einig, dass es sich hier um das sauberste Ferienhaus handelt, was wir jemals bezogen haben. Ausdrücklich hervorzuheben ist von uns der persönliche, schriftliche und telefonische Kontakt zu den Vermietern (Mutter und Tochter) während des gesamten Zeitraumes, beginnend mit der Urlaubsplanung bis zum Urlaubsende mit persönlicher Verabschiedung.
Wir waren ganz bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus !!!
