The Black Forest holiday home Wutach was built in 1905 as a Black Forest farmhouse not far from Schluchsee and Feldberg. It was not long ago that cows and goats lived in the barn. Surrounded by a few farms, the farmhouse stands in the sunny southern Black Forest hamlet of Lembach above the Wutach Gorge. On a clear day, you have a fantastic view of the Alps from almost all the rooms in the house. With 2 farmhouse parlours, an eat-in kitchen and 5 bedrooms on 3 floors, there is plenty of space for up to 11 people. But even for two you will feel very comfortable and safe thanks to the harmonious layout. Panoramic windows, wooden terraces with views of the Alps and a meadow with barbecue area let you savour every ray of sunshine. In winter, a genuine Black Forest tiled stove, a wonderful sitting stove and a blazing fireplace will warm you. Look forward to rustic solid wood furniture and natural building materials. Whether in four-poster beds or in a 200-year-old Black Forest bed, everyone will find their favourite bedroom here.

The Black Forest farmhouse stands on a panoramic mountain slope with an unspoilt southern exposure near Schluchsee and Feldberg. Wutach-Lembach (700-850m) with 150 inhabitants is a paradisiacal hamlet in the Southern Black Forest Nature Park and belongs to the Upper Black Forest municipality of Wutach. Facing the Alps and 7 km from the Swiss border, it lies on the sunny southern terrace of the Black Forest. The farmhouse is nestled in the valley of a stream, the sound of which you hardly notice during the day, but which can have a very calming effect in the evening hours. In the curved mountain and valley landscape there are pastures and fields that are repeatedly bordered by forests. From the house, you hike across sunny Black Forest slopes into the wild, species-rich Wutach Gorge. Unique is the view of the Swiss Alps, which you will enjoy in the house and adjacent high altitudes in clear weather. Due to the hidden location, not many people find their way here. Thus, you can be sure of an unusual tranquillity.

great accommodation for young and old
We were a group of 8 adults and 6 small children and wanted to meet for a nice weekend together. For this, the Black Forest Farmhouse was just the right place for us!!!
Right at the beginning we were welcomed by Markus, who showed us the whole house and garden. There was plenty of space, it was beautifully clean and the matching furnishings, such as the antique radios and the corresponding ambience, rounded off the whole thing. From crockery, cutlery, glasses, washing machine, microwave, dishwasher, firewood ... everything we needed was there.
In the garden we were able to have a proper BBQ on the grill and the following day the pizza oven was just made for our pizzaiolo!
We can only recommend the Black Forest Farmhouse, we had a great weekend together!
