The apartment is intended for 4 people. It has 2 bedrooms, each with 2 sleeping spaces. There is an option to add a bed through a sofa bed for one more person in the living area.
All windows have blinds or shutters. Features:

- Kitchen: with stove and oven, side-by-side fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, kettle, toaster and all utensils needed for self-catering

Whether relaxation or adventure: Karlshagen is ideally situated for your holiday excursions into the surrounding area or a detour to the sights of the region. At the same time, you will find the peace and quiet you need to recover from the stresses and strains of the day.
The house is located in the main street. The distance to the beach is about 1000 m and is easily manageable in about 15 min.
A stroll to the harbour of Karlshagen, 1500 m away, is also highly recommended. There you can eat delicious fish or buy fresh fish.
The nearest supermarket with its own bakery is about 100 m away! A petrol station and the railway station are in the immediate vicinity.

We felt very comfortable.
The apartment looks exactly like in the photos. Very clean and tidy, and also very well equipped (TV, side by side refrigerator, microwave, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, coffee maker, and of course all the dishes and cutlery you need).
The apartment is located on the 2nd floor in the attic (so it can get warmer at certain temperatures).
The bedroom windows can be completely darkened. The two rooms are small, but they are there. You only go there to sleep anyway.
The bathroom is spacious.
The rest of the apartment is open plan.
There's also plenty of space on the balcony with seating.
The holiday apartment has an extra parking space and a small shed for locking up bikes, as well as a barbecue area with seating.
You can reach Edeka or Penny in just a few minutes on foot. It also takes only about 15 minutes to walk to the beach. By car, it's only a few minutes, but the parking spaces there are paid.
The house is located on a busy street, but is therefore central.
The beach is beautiful. Adjacent, there is a playground and a mini-golf course.
Those traveling by car have many options for shopping or for experiences (Karls Erlebnis-Dorf, Phänomenta, Adventure Mini-Golf, etc.). Flyers about excursion opportunities are also available in the apartment, as well as at Edeka. The landlords gave us a small welcome gift that we were very pleased with. Unfortunately, we did not meet in person, but the email contact was always very friendly and pleasant.
We had a very nice week in Karlshagen and can highly recommend the apartment and the surroundings for families with children.

Thank you very much for the welcome gift, we were very happy about it. Being received like this doesn't happen often. We toasted our vacation with the liqueur right away.

A very beautiful, large, clean, lovely, and stylishly furnished apartment in the attic of a small multi-family house. It is the only vacation rental in this house; otherwise, there are also very nice elderly people living there with whom you can easily strike up a conversation. The apartment is very suitable for couples and families, as there is space and sleeping options for up to 6 people. Early risers will be particularly pleased because, at least in the bedroom with the windows open, they are often woken up early by the car workshop and car wash across the street. The location in Karlshagen is as described, on the main street and very centrally located. Restaurants, cafes, and shopping options can be quickly and easily reached on foot. In the apartment itself, everything you need is available, and a small attention from the Fiedler family awaits you upon moving in.
There are few minor deductions in the B grade for the rather loose toilet seat, the illuminated bathroom mirror, which likes to turn on by itself in the morning and evening when it feels like it, and the lack of an ashtray to smoke on the balcony as a smoker. However, this did not diminish our comfort in the apartment at all! We are really very satisfied and will definitely book again.

We are thrilled with this great holiday apartment. We also met the landlords in person and they are very nice and uncomplicated people. The two elderly individuals who manage this apartment are also very nice. The apartment is truly as described in all areas just like in the pictures. The apartment is very comfortably furnished, which is rare to find.
Regarding the surroundings, there is a lot on offer and you can do a lot. For children, it's perfect here as well, just like anywhere else on the island. Cycling, the beach, and nearby shopping options are great. We can only recommend this apartment because we felt very comfortable and would love to come back.
