The traditional Baltic Sea resort Sellin is located in the southeast of Rügen, nestled in the beech forests of the Granitz, in a beautiful coastal landscape between the Baltic Sea resorts Binz (10 km), Baabe (3 km), and Göhren (8 km).
The 2.6 km long sandy beach, the Sellin pier, Wilhelmstraße (promenade) with numerous shopping opportunities, restaurants, and cafés can be reached easily in a few minutes. The beach of Sellin forms the northern end of a wide, fine sandy bathing bay (beach chair rental, large water slide, nudist sections) with a view of the wooded cliffs of Sellin.
