Between the Jasmund and Wittow peninsulas, in the north of Rügen, lies the former fishing village of Glowe. Our holiday home "Strandläufer" is right in the middle of it. The property covers 600 square metres and offers plenty of space with a large lawn for sunbathing and playing and a large terrace. On the terrace you will find beautiful wooden garden furniture and a stone barbecue. This creates a pure holiday atmosphere!
Our "Strandläufer" is a non-smoking house. Internet (WLAN) as well as the washing machine are at your disposal for free use. So that your little ones don't come to harm on the stairs, there is a child-protection stair gate, which you are welcome to use. There is underfloor heating throughout the house. All bedrooms are equipped with insect screens so that mosquitoes do not become a nuisance.
The location of the cosy and quietly situated Reethaus Siedlung at the end of Glowe offers a perfect beach location, but is also the starting point for extensive walks and bicycle tours with the Bodden in the hinterland and Spyker Castle. A lockable garden house is available for storing your bicycles. It is only a few minutes' walk to the shops, restaurants, cafés, fish smokehouses, bicycle rental and the 9 km long beach promenade (Schaabe). Directly at the house there are 2 parking spaces for you and your family for exclusive use. A pet is welcome by arrangement! (fee Euro 10,- / night). Further pets after consultation.

Glowe was considered a place of traditional fishing for centuries and is now a state-recognised resort. Here the steep coast of the Jasmund peninsula and the fine sandy beach of the Schaabe, an extensive spit on the Tromper Wiek, meet. Quietly situated on the Königshörn cliff-directly between the Baltic Sea and the Bodden waters. The Jasmundtherme with swimming pool, sauna etc. is 8 km away. Ideal location for numerous excursions, such as Cape Arkona, Hiddensee Island, chalk cliffs, Jasmund National Park, the fishing port of Sassnitz, the ferry port of Mukran, the seaside resorts of Binz and Sellin, the climbing forest and toboggan run in Bergen, Gingst amusement park, Störtebeker open-air festival in Ralswiek, Spyker Castle and Dinoland, boat trips, sightseeing flights, ferry trip to Scandinavia, German maritime museum Ozeanum Stralsund, Near the holiday home there is a supermarket, bakery, ice cream parlour and many restaurants.
