The house is perfect, especially the conservatory. The beach is very close by. Very well-maintained house.
What we didn't like so much were the pots, there were still pasta residues inside, and the kettle was dirty, so we didn't use it. Otherwise, everything was clean. Unfortunately, there were no showers at the beach, so the shower in the house got very dirty with sand. Our tip: Fill a watering can and clean your feet.

We had a really great time at Jardin des Pins. The landlords Frido and Karina are absolutely unique landlords. Many tips regarding excursions and restaurants already before arrival and the support during the stay by the property management absolutely top! The area is really a dream!

Relaxed vacation in Narbonne-Plage.

Due to its proximity to the beach on the one hand and the Massif de la Clape on the other hand, there are many good opportunities to relax while swimming, hiking and cycling. A visit to nearby Narbonne is also well worth it.

Beautiful accommodation

Centrally located and equipped with everything, we can definitely recommend this accommodation
In our opinion, it is best suited for a family (parents and children), as there are actually only two bedrooms available. The sofa bed in the living room is open to the kitchen and has no wardrobes - so it's really just an "emergency bed"


The kitchen has everything you need, the "bathroom" took some getting used to. A small shower room with washbasin on one side and the end of a long corridor with washbasin on the other. This division has advantages (two can be in the "bathroom" at the same time), but also disadvantages (it's just not one room where you can wash and groom yourself. The absolute highlight is the winter garden and the beautiful garden - in good weather simply a dream. In cooler weather, electric heating can be switched on, but it is charged extra - so be nice and economical. Great for us - dogs are allowed - even with an extra basket, which our four-legged friend gladly accepted. You also have to know that no private parking is offered, even in the pre-season the spaces on the street were occupied - but a few streets away we already found a space. The preparatory documents and information provided by the landlord were excellent. We recommend this accommodation - happy to return :-)

Wonderful days in the Garden of Pines

The "Jardin des Pins" is a highly recommended accommodation. The house is located on the outskirts of Narbonne-Plage and can be reached on foot in just four minutes. The short walk to the long, wide sandy beach (about 2 minutes) is particularly pleasant. The apartment itself contains everything you need for your holiday. It is very well-maintained and, above all, clean. Especially beautiful and useful in strong winds is the newly built conservatory. As the weather was excellent during our stay, we spent most of our time outdoors: a beautiful large terrace (completely furnished) in a lovely shaded location. The friendly care provided, including a very helpful contact with numerous valuable tips, deserves special thanks. The entire administrative process is completely uncomplicated. We had two truly wonderful weeks and felt very comfortable in "Jardin des Pins". We look forward to next time. See you soon!

Simply beautiful!

I felt very comfortable in the "Jardin" with my dog. I particularly liked that a dog bed was provided :-) That makes you feel welcome right away. The house care was also very attentive. The handling and the great tips from the landlords are unbeatable! The apartment is lovingly furnished and offered me everything my heart desires. Due to its proximity to the village and the beach, everything is easily accessible on foot. The "dog beach" is also not far away. The beautiful conservatory is amazing and invites you to relax. Since my dog is not the youngest anymore and therefore big excursions were not possible in the high temperatures, we enjoyed a lot of time in the garden and on the beach. Shopping possibilities are also plentiful. As mentioned: simply beautiful! I will gladly come back!

A beautiful time - unfortunately too short.

We felt comfortable in the short time we were here. Thank you very much for the great tips in the area. Despite the off-season, we had a nice time in both Narbonne and Gruissan. :-)

The surroundings are very inviting, my son talked about "western landscape". :-)
We found the winter garden in the house particularly beautiful: very bright, great furniture, just awesome!

All good things come in threes :-))

We have been here at the "Jardin des Pins" for the third time now and enjoyed our stay once again.
During the first week, when it was cool and windy, we were very happy about the new conservatory - a great addition!
Special highlights for us this time were canoeing on the Orb, extensive bike tours through the Massif de la Clape, and of course, as always: the beach!!!
We would love to come for a fourth time :-)

We had a great time at "Jardins des Pins" and that in the best weather. We went swimming in the sea every day and also took many trips, including to Carcassonne (great) and to the Dalí Museum in Figueres (highly recommended). We would love to come back!

The perfect holiday

We spent 2 wonderful weeks in the holiday home and had everything we needed. We used the bicycles to explore the surroundings and the beach, which is close by and has a shallow slope, was also perfect for the children. The holiday home has everything you need and more. We enjoyed the meals on the shady terrace very much. The excursion tips from the landlords were very helpful. Since there was not enough time for the many excursions in the area, we will definitely come back.

Toller Urlaub

We were able to spend wonderful 9 days in this holiday home. The preparation tips and support from the landlord were very good, the equipment leaves nothing to be desired. What was particularly important for us as a family was a short walk to the sea. Without getting into a hot car after swimming. Here this was perfect: Beach bag over the shoulder and in less than 5 minutes on foot you were at the beautiful beach. For families, not too big waves and easy access to the sea - Perfect! The terrace is also worth mentioning.

Pine Garden - what more could you want by the sea :)

We were able to spend two beautiful - albeit too short - weeks in Jardin des Pins. The accommodation and surroundings were exactly as described or shown in the photos. Everything in the house - inside and outside - is in a very well-maintained and clean condition. The proximity to the beach and the fantastic, densely wooded outdoor area of the cottage are simply priceless. Thanks to the great weather, we were able to always eat at the table under the beautiful olive tree and play cards there in the evenings - something you can only dream of in Germany ;) Everyone quickly found their favorite spot, and even for playing beach ball, there was still enough space on the terrace.
Narbonne-Plage in July/August is naturally quite crowded, but we had expected it to be even busier and were therefore positively surprised. Even at 3 or 4pm, we still found a good spot on the very well-kept, wide beach. The sea was crystal clear and gently sloping. Our two girls (10 and 13 years old) really enjoyed swimming there, especially after the wind of the first few days subsided and they were allowed to take their boards and swim rings into the water. Of course, the leisurely trips through the beach boutiques and markets of Narbonne-Plage, Gruissan, etc., were also a highlight for them. Always a highlight ;). The support/preparation for the vacation by the Meub-Knopp family was sensational. From the first booking inquiry, everything went fast, smoothly, and in a super-friendly manner. Not to forget the many useful tips that we received as pdf files before the trip and which we consulted frequently, especially regarding shopping opportunities and excursion destinations. This way, we also explored the surroundings (e.g. ...) the "Sweet Eye" and the village of Bages) as well as the interesting hinterland (e.g. Carcassonne, Gorges d`Héric, the 4 castles of Lastours) extensively.
We will definitely come back again :)

Best vacation rental ever

We have already booked a lot of vacation rentals, but this was by far the best one we ever had. The location is absolutely recommendable, the amenities are fantastic. It lacks nothing. Above all, the caring support from the landlords, the travel tips in advance, the contact during the vacation, and also the interest after the vacation are great. Perfect for a relaxing vacation with small children.

The quiet little resort town (we were there in the pre-season) with its extremely wide beach, shallow waters, and numerous playgrounds was perfect for our family vacation. The holiday apartment is right by the beach (and great with its own garden, where there was a lot to discover for the children). Short trips to the nearby towns provide variety, such as a walk on the "natural beach" (where you can find the really big shells first!). ) or a hike around a green mountain lake or to a castle ruin.

The holiday was very nice, and we can recommend the vacation rental without reservation!

Beautiful vacation by the sea, great holiday home.

Very nice holiday home with a large terrace that leaves hardly anything to be desired. We especially liked the comfortable beach chair in which you can sit outside even on windier days. As for the area itself, not much needs to be said. The beach is a dream, and there are also a variety of special places and things to discover such as the Cité of Carcassonne, Cathar castles, the African Reserve in Sigean recommended for families, and much more. The landlords are very friendly and the communication is impeccable. The security deposit was returned just a few days after the vacation. We can only recommend the holiday home and will definitely come back.

Beautiful house in a great location.

It is a beautiful holiday home in a superb location. Everything needed for self-catering (such as dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, etc.) is available in sufficient amounts. There is also a washing machine, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, etc. in the house. The outdoor area is tastefully landscaped and almost completely private. The wide and kilometer-long beach is within walking distance in just a few minutes. This beach can be accessed without paying a tourist tax. ) clean and well-maintained. The water is clear and had a pleasant bathing temperature even in October. There were no jellyfish or annoying stones. Narbonne Plage is ideal for a combined beach/sightseeing vacation. There are almost no architectural sins, but many beautiful (neighboring) towns with appealing markets and a lot of charm. It is a region with beautiful scenery. The support from the landlord is clearly outstanding, always friendly and helpful, providing us with interesting and useful (excursion) information and responding promptly and straightforwardly to short-term requests/wishes. The deposit was also refunded quickly. Thanks again for that.

Family-friendly holiday in a dreamy location.

After two stays in the neighboring Villa des Pins, we spent our first vacation this year in the beautiful Jardin des Pins. Situated in a wonderful garden with large pine trees and almost secluded, this holiday home offers sunny and shady spots at all times of the day. In the cozy seating area with an outdoor grill, on one of the sun loungers, or in the beach chair, there is always the perfect place to relax. The house itself is equipped with everything you need for a self-catering holiday and is in a very good and well-maintained condition. We spent two weeks there in the summer with perfect weather, so it was not a problem for our three slightly older children (aged between 9 and 15) to share a room, as they only used it for sleeping due to the great weather. We would also recommend this house especially for families with young children or older guests, as everything is on one level and no stairs need to be overcome. The location of the house is perfect: it is situated in a quiet side street and yet only 80 m away from the beautiful, fine sandy, clean, and guarded beach. Narbonne-Plage is a place that has been spared from large-scale tourism. There are no large hotel complexes there, and even in high season, there is always a spot on the beach close to the water. The promenade was refurbished only a few years ago and is therefore in excellent condition. Three times a week, there is a market with regional delicacies, as well as arts and crafts, clothing, etc. Shops for daily needs and restaurants can be found within walking distance in a few minutes. We will always be happy to come back!

Erholung pur

We were on vacation in France for the first time and hit the jackpot right away. Languedoc-Roussillon is a stunningly beautiful area and offers many leisure activities. The beach at Narbonne-Plage is beautiful. Just like the holiday apartment. We were totally thrilled by the two lovely terraces that invite you to relax. The apartment is very well equipped. The good care provided by the family... Meub-Knopp and the many tips we received round off the whole thing.

Der perfekte Urlaub

For many years, we have been spending our vacation in Narbonne-Plage from time to time. This year, we rented the "Jardin des Pins." The house is located in a quiet side street and is perfectly equipped. Even though it was a bit windy on some days, life mainly took place in the garden. Sun and shade, as desired, high-quality garden furniture, and a great grill left us wanting for nothing. We did not miss a thing. It was particularly convenient to have only a few meters to the beach promenade or the extensive beach. The pleasant contact with the landlord rounded off the perfect vacation.

Top apartment with a great garden

The property is a holiday apartment that is exclusively equipped in French standards. It includes a coffee machine, washing machine, dishwasher, and even a microwave. The shaded garden invited us to take a daily "siesta." We enjoyed using the outdoor grill. The proximity to the beach, even if it might be not exactly 80 but possibly 82 meters away, is easily reachable on foot, even for small children. The landlord is an extremely pleasant person, who makes an honest effort to ensure that the most important days of the year are truly enjoyable and trouble-free. We have recommended the property to our best friends.

Beautiful, quiet, yet centrally located domicile in Schöneberg.

The house is located in a quiet side street. In less than 5 minutes, you can reach the beach, bakery, ice cream parlor, etc. If you noticed at the beach that you forgot something at home, it was therefore not a problem or a big effort at all. The information provided by the landlords is accurate; the house was also very well-maintained and well-thought-out in detail. With children, you spend a lot of time at the beach in good weather. However, it is also very pleasant to stay at the house with its two terraces. We especially liked the dining area under a huge tree. Ending the day there with mild temperatures, a glass of wine, and local delicacies... that's life. We would have liked to stay longer at the beach, as even around 8 pm - when it's already empty - you can enjoy the beautiful light and the temperatures are more pleasant for playing soccer with the children. In the house itself, we didn't miss anything, and the landlords went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible, to inspire us for this area, and had already sent us all sorts of information and tips in advance, including... One day before arrival, we received a traffic jam warning with an alternative route. The contact was very friendly and relaxed.
At the beach, we always found a spot, even in the second week when many French people went on vacation. We found better restaurants, for example, in the nearby Gruissan, but we liked the beach in Narbonne-Plage better. There are numerous excursion options: Carcassonne, Narbonne (market halls, cathedral), monasteries, castles, beautiful, picturesque hiking and cycling trails, a safari park, various wineries... We can wholeheartedly recommend the house and the landlords. The entries in the house's guestbook also suggest that we are not alone in this - there are several "repeat offenders" like us.

For the second time and always gladly...!

After enjoying the Jardin des Pins for the first time in 2013, we did it again. :o) ! In addition to the review from last year, it should be mentioned that - in contrast to many other landlords - continuous improvements are being made in and around the house here. A new couch here, a new carpet there, or various fresh coats of paint. So very clean and well-maintained. The property corresponds in all aspects to the online advertisement. We have not been able to discover a comparably beautiful domicile during our vacations in the region. The landlord provides information very, very quickly and comprehensively, is always approachable. The deposit was refunded in less than 24 hours after departure ;o) The landlord sent many excursion possibilities in advance by email. We still haven't managed to follow all these attractive suggestions. This special service was supplemented during our vacation by a personal recommendation for an interesting hike in La Clape.
Visiting the Cathedral of Narbonne, the castle ruins of Gruissan, and the numerous weekly and flea markets were part of our program.
Not to forget the relaxing times on the new, comfortable loungers in the garden and on the clean, expansive beach.
Highly recommended, and we would love to come back.

The most beautiful house in Narbonne-Plage.

Since the other reviews already reveal a lot about the location and surroundings, we would like to focus here on the description of the apartment itself.
First of all: we believe that the property is the most beautiful house in Narbonne-Plage!
We were impressed by: Not only the spacious layout, which allows for a harmonious cohabitation on cooler days inside the house, but also the interior design and the outdoor ambiance, which provide plenty of breathing space. Here, small children can also spread out with their toys undisturbed, without constantly stumbling over them. In addition, the location of the house at the intersection of the two residential paths to the beach is noteworthy, offering a choice between the short and shortest routes on foot. In addition to the furnishings and amenities designed with great attention to detail, we would like to emphasize the excellent quality of the beds. Both the mattresses and duvets meet German standards. Those who have spent the cooler travel season under a French "couverture" know that the latter cannot be valued highly enough. In addition, the sufficiently sized heating system helps bridge cool days.
The contact with the landlord is very pleasant and uncomplicated. He always has an open ear for any problems that may arise during the stay and, along with the house service, is very helpful. One has the feeling that he enjoys renting out and it is not bothersome for him to be contacted for questions related to the house.
It was already our second stay at "Les Pines", the year before we were in the villa with 3 adults and 2 young children.
We think that the "Jardin" is even more suitable for children under 3 years due to the ground-level access to the fenced garden with a lockable garden gate than the villa. We will gladly come for a third time as well!

Have a good holiday

We have now been in this fantastic holiday home for the 2nd time. It is absolutely dreamy and corresponds in all descriptions to the online appearance. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired! Additionally, the landlord provided us with plenty of tips on restaurants, excursions, shopping options, etc. The house is located in a very quiet area, but you can still reach the beach promenade in a few minutes, where a diverse program is offered in the evenings. Additionally, you can easily walk to shop: small supermarket, fruits and vegetables, bakery... The proximity to the beach is fantastic and hard to beat :-) We were there with our two children (8.5 and 10.5 years old) and there is truly something for everyone: peace and relaxation in the garden, great beach experiences with waves and building sandcastles, beautiful markets every day in different places, wonderful chateaus with great wines, diverse excursions. . . so much to do!
Even the prices for dining out are affordable! As a highlight, we recommend an evening visit to Carcassonne, which is beautifully illuminated and leaves an even more lasting impression than during the day. It is also worth driving to the Dali Museum in Figueres due to its proximity to Spain (driving time around 1.5 hours) – not only for art lovers :-) The "Jardin des Pins" is truly a wonderful vacation spot for the whole family, and we will definitely come back!
