More holiday homes with private pool on request! The approximately 130 sqm holiday house LA CORONA is an independent, free-standing at 4 pages typical Tuscan farmhouse. Built in 1800, recently restored to its original in 2006. house, land (2 ha olive grove, 1 ha of forest), and pool are only available to you, here you can undisturbed enjoy your holiday without having to take on additional guests consideration. So ideal for families with children and dogs.
INDOORS:
All rooms in delicate pastel shades radiate warmth and homeliness. Compared to the very comfortable and well-equipped kitchen with satellite TV and large fireplace from the time the dining room with 'Knights' Hall flair'. 8 steps lead to the 1st floor with a bathroom (shower, toilet, bidet), which is lined with precious mosaic decoration. In the 2nd floor are a double and a twin bedroom with panoramic view. From the 2nd floor is accessed via 4 terracotta steps in the attic room with single bed for a 5th person. The furniture is mostly antique.
Throughout the ground floor, the ceilings are very high and designed as in the other floors, terracotta and beams made of chestnut wood. Typical terracotta tiles cover the entire floor. Special attention deserves the masterful handling of terracotta in the entrance area and in all staircases to walls and vaulted ceilings. Other areas are again plastered yellow corn. A rarity in the bathroom: the sink itself is made of terracotta and is set into marble.
OUTDOORS: Behind the house without the neighbors can see, is available for sole use an approximately 3 hectares of land available, which is located in approximately 2 ha olive grove (partly sloping) and divided into about 1 ha of forest and you not directly accessible from the rear of the house, but by the house semi herum- from the main entrance to the right and then go down to the olive grove. Here you can finally switch off and enjoy the peace and beauty of nature, either on a lawn or a romantic, entwined with vines gazebo in the olive grove from. Immerse yourself in another world - Beautiful
The stone house, which is over 200 years old, is beautiful and located in a quiet idyllic area, far away from any street noise. We, a small family with a 4 year old son, felt very comfortable. The landlords and the neighbours - wonderful people who gave us a feeling of security, as if we had known each other for a long time. One of the neighbours is fluent in English, with whom we had very nice conversations and who advised us in detail about the sights in Tuscany without being pushy
Everything we needed was available in the house. I recommend it to every Tuscan traveller who wants to immerse themselves in another world and experience Tuscany in all its wonderful splendour.

Relaxed Tuscany holiday in Monsummano Alto
We spent two weeks with three children (9, 12, 14) at the holiday home 'La Corona' and felt very comfortable there. The house itself is somewhat secluded on the mountain, but many sights of Tuscany can be reached by car in 1/2-1 1/2 hours due to good connections, so we visited Lucca, Pisa, Florence, and Siena, among others. The children particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and made use of this cooling option almost daily. The landlords are very nice, and we were allowed to help ourselves in the garden to our heart's content.

Place of longing
Morning walk with the dog through the olive grove before it gets too warm - then cooling off in the pool. Gradually, the rest of the family is lured out by laughter and splashing sounds. Eventually, hunger strikes and we go inside. The kitchen already smells of freshly harvested tomatoes from the garden with rosemary and sage, sautéed in homemade olive oil - that's how a day can start. The family council decides on the remaining day: another round in the pool, then a siesta in the cool house, and much later getting ready leisurely for a trip to Lucca, San Gimignano, or Pisa. All easily accessible. These days, we leave our phones off and enjoy the seclusion and tranquility. What a wonderful landscape, what enchanting people, from whom I would like to learn to live with more serenity. We had wonderful days of lazing around and resting, intense family time playing and frolicking, inspiring city trips, and watching the sunset on the beach near Pisa. The house is so enchanting and original, we fell in love with it at first sight. And then these fairy-tale olive groves around the house... Leaving was very difficult for us! We will definitely come back!!

We, as a family (2 adults and 3 children), felt very comfortable. The landlords and also the neighbors were very hospitable. The large garden and the pool invite you to linger. Our landlords provided us with fruits and vegetables from their garden. It was a very nice time and we enjoyed it very much! Thank you.
