The 5-star holiday home offers enough space for up to eight people and an additional small child on a living area of approx. 120 sqm. The house is ideal for families with children, generation holidays, holidays with friends but also for couples seeking peace and quiet. The high-quality and stylish furnishings will make your holiday an unforgettable experience. The holiday home is located in the Rerik estate park, which consists of 7 thatched-roof houses and the stately Rerik estate castle.
Enter the house: You enter the house via a double wing door, which you open with your individual code to the outside. On the ground floor there is a large living/dining room with a cosy leather seating area, wood-burning stove and a large dining table for eight people, as well as a high-quality and fully equipped fitted kitchen. In addition, there is a large shower room with sauna. When you are not on the move, you can enjoy satellite TV or a good DVD film from the living area. If you prefer music, there is a stereo system with radio/CD as well as iPod and USB connection. Or you can relax in front of the stove and listen to the crackling of the fireplace. So that you can also indulge in your culinary hobby while on holiday, there is a modern, fully equipped and spacious eat-in kitchen at your disposal. It offers you a large refrigerator with ice compartment, induction hob, extractor bonnet, raised oven, dishwasher, microwave, etc.. In addition, a washing machine is at your free disposal. A high chair is available for your toddler. The modern bathroom consists of a sauna, floor-level shower with glass cubicle, toilet and washbasin. After your sauna session, you can get out into the fresh Baltic Sea air via a double door. There is a hairdryer for your wet hair. A fly screen door protects you from unwelcome visitors.
The upper floor offers the possibility to retreat and enjoy a good night's sleep or even a nice afternoon nap. All beds have adjustable slatted frames and are comfortably high. Mattresses with different degrees of firmness are available for each bedroom. When you arrive, test which degree of firmness suits your well-being. Darkening is provided in each bedroom. You will also find a beautiful wellness bathroom to relax in with a bathtub, floor-level shower with glass cubicle, toilet, hand basin and hairdryer. So that you don't get any unwelcome visitors, each room has a fly screen. In the first bedroom you will find a double bed (180 x 200 cm), night consoles and a large wardrobe. A safe is available for your valuables. The second bedroom is also equipped with a double bed (180 x 200 cm), night consoles and a wardrobe. If you like to watch some TV before going to sleep, you could choose this bedroom as well. If you are travelling with a small child, we will be happy to provide you with an additional travel cot. The converted attic is the ideal domicile for your children. There is another sleeping area where the little ones can sleep in bunk beds (2 each 90x200 cm). With reading lamps, you can really browse here before falling asleep. Furthermore, the loft offers a play/cuddle corner with seat cushions and a bedside table.
You can park two cars one behind the other directly in front of the front door. If you have brought your own bicycles or borrowed bicycles, you can store them in a lockable bicycle shed. The outdoor facilities are open plan. From the living/dining room you can access the large terrace. The large garden table with space for eight people invites you to a sociable barbecue evening (an electric barbecue is available in the bike shed). Charcoal and open fires as well as fireworks are not permitted due to the fire hazard of the thatched roofs. Furthermore, this is a non-smoking house.
Free WLAN. For allergy sufferers, the basement and the upper floor are completely tiled, the attic is covered with vinyl. A children's table with two stools is available for small children. Children's crockery and cutlery are also included in the inventory. Dogs are welcome - however, home textiles, couch and all beds are taboo.

After about 600 m you reach the natural beach (exit Teufelsschlucht), which invites you to sunbathe, go for romantic walks or extended hikes. The coastal forest above the cliff provides shade in summer and in the evening you have the opportunity to enjoy the sunset over the Baltic Sea on numerous benches.

Cancellation due to corona
Unfortunately, we were not able to take our family vacation coming from Berlin.
I would like to give a review because Mr. Merten personally made the cancellation due to Corona very sensitively and empathetically and expressed his regret.
Although economic losses for the Metten family are certainly incurred due to the pandemic, it is evident that the landlord is keen on providing the potential vacationers with a carefree and enjoyable holiday. Unfortunately, we were not able to enjoy it. The rental costs were promptly refunded without us having to request it.

Umso mehr freut es mich, dass Sie trotz allem, mit meiner Betreuung zufrieden waren, und Sie sich damit wohl gefühlt haben.
