Description

They live alone in a chalet with worry renovated (Anno 2016).
Rural atmosphere with the charm of the past with the comforts of today.
Visible beams, rustic furniture, the wood stove, the interior decoration emphasize the authentic atmosphere of the house. You stay in a cozy atmosphere. The chalet provides accommodation in large rooms (160 m2), equipped with modern comforts.
On the ground floor there is:
a large living room with dining area and open kitchen. 2 bedrooms (each for 2 pers) + a toilet + bathroom. The wood stove of the house will bring them the warmth and a user-friendly framework. Very bright, the ground floor has a large window wall of the open onto a large balcony overlooking the forest or meadow our asses. In addition, a French window in the living room leads to a covered terrace. You have the Wal where you can enjoy the nature and peace fully.
On the first floor you will find:
a spacious mezzanine with bed + 3 bedrooms (each for 2 pers) + a toilet + bathroom
Children can spend hours in the garden, either exploring the nature or play on the slide or swing or the fountain or even emphasize our asses ........
Directly in front of our house start various hiking trails. A bakery is in the village and all shops are 5 mn far from her house.
At your disposal and convenience: garden furniture and barbeccue.

Our donkeys, ponies and horses also revive often the surrounding meadows. Encounter of game animals is also possible.
Le Chalet is situated in the heart of Alsace between Strasbourg and Colmar.

Location and surroundings of object

Between Strasbourg and Colmar in green valley of Villé, "le Chalet", House 10 people will be your nest. In the edge of the Regional Park of Ballons des Vosges you are staying in the middle of Alsace in the small village: Fouchy.
Within 15km wait the Wine Road, the high point Alsatian, gastronomic and cultural places on you for hectic days

"Le Chalet" is set in a natural setting. A forest road of 800m will lead you to her house. Our donkeys, ponies and horses also revive often the surrounding meadows. Encounter of game animals is also possible.

Fouchy, small mountain village (about 700 inhabitants.) Is one of the 18 municipalities of the valley of Villé. They stay in the amount of 450 M in a landscape of low mountains.

Old crafts are still present in the valley, as well as diet works of nature, distilleries, wine, etc ...

Holiday home evaluation

We also had a very nice week in the chalet, which we spent with our dog with many extensive walks in this special region and excursions into the surrounding area. The house is perfectly equipped, is in a completely quiet location and the nice hostess, who gave us a friendly welcome, also asked in between if everything was okay. We will come back again.

Wonderful! Oasis for those seeking tranquility!

We (parents with two adult sons) spent a week here and felt very comfortable despite the gloomy weather. Clarisse greeted us with a bundt cake, apple juice, honey, and good tips and recommendations. You can go for walks in the woods directly from the house, and in the evenings, you can see deer right at your doorstep. Despite being in a remote location, the bakery is within walking distance. There is also a recommended swimming pool in the neighboring village! The description of the house corresponds one hundred percent to reality. If we could make a wish: perhaps equip one of the cozy bedrooms with beds for 2m tall people. Thank you for everything, Clarisse!

Great house with a very friendly hostess.

We had a family gathering with 10 adults and a toddler. Nothing was missing, and the house was already heated when we arrived. Would love to come back anytime.

A great autumn vacation!

We spent a very nice week here in autumn with 2 families, each with 2 small children. The house is excellently furnished and perfect in size for 2 families. The hostess was very warm and helpful, and the donkey ride was a highlight for the children. We would love to come back.

we like to come again

It was wonderful! The very cosy and fully equipped house is in an absolutely quiet location surrounded by woods on the edge of the village. The huge terrace, which is covered with wooden posts, is simply ingenious and served us well both when the temperature was over 30 ° and when it subsequently dropped and rained. Even everyday things go off without a hitch. In the neighbouring village of Villé there is a good butcher and several bakeries, including one with fantastic eclairs and croissants. The rest of the shopping can be done easily at the large Super U shopping centre. Clarisse and her husband are very attentive hosts who quickly make you feel welcome. We will be happy to come back.

Very satisfied!

We were two families with young children (4 years and younger) staying at the holiday house and spent two wonderful weeks there. The chalet has just been renovated, so everything was new and well-maintained. Additionally, the facilities are very good, so we lacked nothing. For families with very young children, it should be noted that they should be able to play quite independently and should be able to handle a large slide and some steps in the garden so that they can play unattended. Fortunately, this was not a problem for us, and our children, from two and a half years old, had a lot of fun in the garden. For the babies, we would have liked a more reclining-friendly meadow - the one in front of the house is very sloping. As for the location, it was perfect for us. There are charming villages and smaller hikes right at our doorstep, and many activities in the surrounding area reachable within an hour by car. We found the location in the woods delightful, very peaceful and secluded. However, a car is definitely necessary.
