Experience something special? ! Vacation with a hunter! Spreewald! Accessible! All year round! Dog kennel!
For people who are interested in nature and local wildlife and want to hear more than just tall tales from a hunter.
In Calau, the city of puns, very close to the Spreewald and the Lusatian Lakeland, and very close to many other excursion destinations, a barrier-free, approx. 90 m² apartment for 4 (possibly 6) people awaits your visit all year round. You enter and think, "Well, everything's normal:
- Living room with upholstered corner, wall unit, TV, and coat rack
(Upholstered corner convertible into a box-spring double bed in three steps.)
- Bedroom (Can be set up as a double bed or two single beds.)
No fur, stuffed animals, antlers or other typical hunter's paraphernalia."
That's about to change, because in the very special hunter's room with open kitchen, a different view awaits you. The pictures speak for themselves! On the counter there is a second TV, under the counter a second refrigerator, and there is a separate gun cabinet for hunters.
The kitchen is naturally equipped with everything a kitchen needs: refrigerator with a small freezer compartment, ceramic stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machines, toaster, kettle, raclette grill combination, iron, dishes, spices,
The bathroom also offers a surprise. In addition to a comfortable walk-in shower, washing machine, vanity mirror, hairdryer, towels. . . enjoy the special bathing fun in the tub bathtub.
Outside the entrance of your apartment, there is a sitting area with a gas or charcoal grill available. Parking spaces are directly in front of the property.
For dogs, there is a mobile barrier and, if necessary, a dog kennel.

Action Wish Wagon
This holiday apartment is well-suited for people with disabilities. A ramp has even been installed so that we could easily access the apartment with a wheelchair; the rest of the apartment is barrier-free. Fast and hassle-free communication. They inquired in advance about what we needed; everything discussed was already on site, we just had to arrive and feel comfortable. Even upon arrival, other options were provided to us in case anything didn't fit. Everything was very clean and furnished with attention to detail. The hosts are a very warm couple. They offered their help at any time. We felt very comfortable.
Thank you for allowing us to spend such a beautiful weekend with family and friends at your place.

Living in an oasis of well-being
The reception on the day of arrival was very warm and the welcome took place on the cold November day with hot grog and interesting conversations. As my husband and son-in-law are enthusiastic hunters, an appointment was made for a briefing on the hunt, after which we moved into the wonderful, extraordinary holiday flat with its very tasteful style, where we felt very comfortable as a family.Our hunting dogs Bonny and Inka also found their place immediately and had a great time in Mr. Kaltschmidt's huge and beautiful hunting ground.During our stay in Calau we celebrated our daughter's birthday.She even received a present from the Kaltschmidt family,which has been given a very special place in our home.This will always remind us of a wonderful time.In addition, we were allowed to taste the great Ökoschlachterein (own production), which was very tasty to us.Fam.Kaltschmidt is a very hospitable and warm-hearted landlord couple, which we have never experienced.They gave us the feeling that we knew them forever.100% we recommend you and thank you for so much cordiality.We will see you again next year and are already looking forward to it.Stay healthy and love greetings until then.

Top flat, first class, friendly landlords
The flat is not only lovingly furnished but also absolutely functional. Nothing is missing. You really don't need to bring your own utensils, as everything is really available here. Even a second fridge is available, which can be used by hunters to deposit; however, we used it as a drinks fridge :) Our four-legged friends are also well catered for here. There was a food bowl and a water bowl ready for use.
The flat is very spacious and there is plenty of room. Especially the thick walls of the flat protected us from the enormous heat and it was always pleasant in the flat. Despite an outside temperature of over 35 degrees, the thermometer in the flat only showed 21-22 degrees.
According to my wife, the enclosed wooden bathtub is an absolute must for any fan of bathing. It is comfortable and it was a very pleasant experience.
The landlords are absolutely dedicated, extremely friendly, helpful and good company. They are on hand to offer help and advice (great tour and shopping tips) and absolutely sweetened our holiday.
We came with a dog and there were some great trails here for dog walking.
Shopping facilities are very easy to get to (LIDL, Norma, REWE and Netto), the weekly market is on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Bakeries and butchers are also within easy reach in the town centre
However, we had to deduct one point for the location. The flat is located in the courtyard of the landlords' house, through which the path to a car repair shop also leads, which was quite busy during the day. For us it was no problem, as we were also on the road a lot. But if you value absolute peace and quiet, you might be better off in the landlords' holiday home near Berlin, which has its own swimming pool.
Conclusion:
Our holiday was a dream, the area is beautiful. We will come again :)

We like to come back
A FeWo as you would expect from a hunter. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need.
There is also a second refrigerator. The landlady is very nice and is happy to accommodate extra requests. Calau is centrally located if you want to make a side trip to the Spreewald or the Lusatian Lakeland
Our dog also felt very comfortable. He was also welcomed with a treat
As a farewell gift, we were even given a roast venison, which we will soon enjoy.

Everything fit
We were 3 adults, one person is a wheelchair user, the flat is barrier-free and very well equipped. Absolutely recommended for wheelchair users, sanitary facilities are easily accessible with a wheelchair. The whole flat is very well equipped, nothing is missing. There is a parking space directly in front of the flat. The flat is very clean and functionally equipped. The landlords are very friendly and also give tips for excursions.
