Description
Villa Sunflower was last renovated in 2013. It currently has 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a small office. The villa is fully equipped for a holiday stay. Apart from your personal clothes, you don't really need to bring anything with you. The house has a double garage with electric door opener (remote control), a heated oversized pool in southern exposure. The very large outdoor area (pool + covered outdoor area) has an area of approx. 170 m². The living area itself is approx. 138 m², the entire plot approx. 1400 m².
You will be looked after on site by our German property management (known through several TV reports on Spiegel- and Focus-TV ), resident since 1995.
We have landline telephone, internet via wifi, cable TV. 5 bicycles, a canoe, beach chairs/umbrella, fishing gear, all at your free and free disposal. And much more - motorboats on request. Our central location to supermarkets (Publix, Walmart Supersore, Coral Mall), as well as several restaurants is ingenious (everything in 5 - 10 min) also accessible on foot or by bike!!!
Since our house is located at the end of the canal, there are no "annoying" passing boats that could disturb the "pool fun" or "sun".

Location and surroundings of object
Pool villa on the saltwater channel with access to the Gulf of Mexico. The islands of Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel Island and Captiva Island with their subtropical white beaches are just offshore. The Everglades National Park is only a few minutes away by car. Countless shopping opportunities in the Florida malls and inexpensive eateries are around the corner. The heated pool faces south and is lined with tropical plants. You will experience fantastic sunsets as the sun sinks at the end of the Calabar Canal.
Ideal base for day trips to Miami, Tampa, Orlando (Disney World, Seaworld, Universal Studios) or Cape Canaveral (Kennedy Space Center) or a short trip to the Floridakeys in Key West (approx. 3 hours by wing boat from Fort Myers). From the hotel's own jetty, you can explore the 650 km of salt and fresh water canals with a rental boat or the hotel's own canoe, or go directly across the Chaloosahatchee River into the Gulf of Mexico.

We felt comfortable right away
The pictures and descriptions on the website correspond entirely to reality. We didn't miss anything. A very nice house where you feel comfortable. We were guests for 3 weeks and could have endured it for another week or two. This was already our second stay at Villa Sunflower. If possible, we would like to come back again, maybe for 4 weeks, to spend our vacation here next year or the year after. Of course, health must be in good shape.
