Description

Art house with a beautiful view on the river Mirna valley. Holiday house with pool-Villa Artica is located in Vizinada on the end of the village. Villa Artica is completely renovated in 2016 by the new owners. The house has two floors. On the first floor there is a living room and fully equipped kitchen (gas stove, refrigerator, freezer, toaster, coffee machine ..) and sitting area. A wooden staircase leads to the first floor with two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. One bedroom has a double bed with private bathroom and children's room with bunk beds and a big balcony. The house is fully air-conditioned. Guests have the exclusive use of the pool, deck chairs and a gazebo with table and chairs, free Wi-Fi and car parking. Enjoy a beautiful sunset overlooking the sea in the distance.

Location and surroundings of object

You can witness one of the most beautiful views of the Green and Blue Istria from the hill rising above the Mirna valley if you visit a small town of Vižinada-Visinada. Walking along the streets of this town you will surely be enchanted by the smell of the cakes during the manifestation Slatka Istra ‘Sweet Istria’.

On the sole peak of the hill there is the sanctuary of God’s Field and the gothic church of St. Mary from the 15th century with the stone head on the facade which, according to the legend, represents Attila the leader of the Huns. In the 19th century a famous ballerina Carlotta Grisi danced in the streets of this beautiful town rich with Istrian dialects. Vižinada-Visinada is also mentioned in one of the novels written by the French writer Jules Verne.
