Description

former winegrowers' farm in Böchingen, in the middle of the sunny Southern Palatinate region

Each accommodation unit is modern and lovingly furnished, offers satellite TV, modern, barrier-free bathroom with large shower. You have free internet access via WLAN. The four accommodation units can also be booked individually. We will be happy to send you detailed information on request

Holiday flat #1 has an extra-large wellness shower. The comfortable sofa bed in the living room can sleep an additional 2 adults (for a small surcharge).

In the large flat #3 (approx. 40m²) there is also an additional sofa bed (for up to 2 people).

The 2 attic studio double rooms (#4 with a view to the south, #5 with a view of the Palatinate Forest) are large, spacious and flooded with light. Detailed living elements in both studios characterise individual ambience with a feeling of living and well-being.

In the guesthouse we offer a common room, very suitable for cosy wine drinking (we have various local wines available for you) or for board games (which we also have available).

You have direct access to the enclosed cobblestone courtyard. To the side is a covered outdoor seating area. Here you can relax, read a good book or enjoy your barbecue with a good glass of wine
Your children will obviously feel at home with various playground equipment (scooters, bobby cars, balls), especially as the large, well-known Böchingen leisure complex is directly adjacent to our property.

Looking for activities in our sunny region?

In the heart of the Southern Palatinate and on the edge of the "Palatinate Forest" nature park, there are numerous options open to you, hiking with plenty of good places to stop for refreshments in the managed huts of the Palatinate Forest Association (PWV). Ride a mountain bike or trolley, fly a paraglider, experience nature, explore castles and ruins, visit a wild animal park or conquer the tree-top walk. Of course, there is also a more urban option. The attractive town of Landau in the Palatinate is only 5 km away (shopping and weekly market), or visit one of the countless wine festivals in the region.

And your children? They can let off steam right behind our property on the large recreational area with climbing, basketball, table tennis, football or sand digging!

A 5-minute walk across "little Venice" takes you directly to the bakery / post office and the butcher's shop. Or you can stroll through our village of Böchingen and buy regional products (also organic) directly from various winegrowers.

If you book the whole house at our house price conditions, we charge the 80,-€ of the other costs for the use of the kitchen and dining room (with equipment for up to 14 persons).
If the minimum stay of 3 nights is not reached during the high season, we charge a 20% surcharge on the overnight costs.

Different prices apply when booking individual accommodation (FeWo, AP. DZ):
2 adults from 2 nights for from 69,-€/night (FeWo), or from 65,-€/night (DZ) as well as from 69,-€/night (AP).
Additional costs of 25,- € are only due for the FeWo
Minimum stay in the apartment: 2 nights

Family reunion

We stayed at the Palatinas guesthouse in July '18 with 12 people aged between 1 and 83. Everyone felt very comfortable, the children enjoyed the freedom of movement in the courtyard and the adults the wonderful outdoor seating with barbecue area. The rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished with love for the datail, the beds very good. The breakfast buffet offers everything you could want to find and is lovingly arranged. All around, you notice that the owners attach great importance to quality.
We can only recommend the house!

A great house

This house is super beautiful and perfect with children. Very nice landlords and the wine tasting with flammkuchen was very, very tasty.
We will gladly come back next year as a whole family with 12 people. Everything is super nice there and the house is furnished with a lot of love. We had a nice weekend and good rest. It is also great to go on outings. Landau is not far away for the Reptilium or for strolling. The playground behind the house is perfect and the little walk to the bakery/butcher is super nice.

Family weekend

We spent a nice, relaxed weekend with 10 people between the ages of 8 and 75 in the beautiful, very tastefully furnished vintner's house. The surrounding area invites you to go on excursions and walks, about which sufficient brochures are available and the owner himself is happy to provide information. The good wine selection in the holiday home is also worth mentioning.

Very lovingly furnished

We stayed over the weekend with 6 people in the 3 guest rooms. They are very lovingly and completely newly furnished. Great bathrooms - comfortable beds. Very friendly landlords who give tips for the region. Also great is the self-service wine shelf.

very nice time out

We enjoyed the days at the Palatinas very much, with great weather we made great hikes in the nearby surroundings and were pleased with the very nice room. We booked breakfast and everything we needed was there. Our windows faced the main road, which is unfortunately right in front of it, but the nice big room made up for this small flaw. I would definitely recommend the accommodation and I think we will stay there again.

Super cosy holiday flat

We spent a few nice days in the holiday flat in August. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and had a good rest. The flat is comfortably furnished and lacked nothing. The bakery is reached by a quiet footpath over small wooden footbridges. After our hikes we enjoyed a good wine, which you can buy in the house, in the beautiful outdoor seating area. All in all, we had wonderful days here.
Everything is highly recommended.
I think we will come back again.

Beautiful, renovated Palatinate farmhouse.

We stayed in Böchingen for one night, unfortunately for a wedding, so we had little time in the accommodation. However, this short time was wonderful: very friendly welcome, a beautifully renovated room, extremely comfortable beds, a great bathroom, and, last but not least, a fantastic breakfast the next morning. For our onward journey, we received a number of helpful recommendations for hikes in this beautiful region. Overall a consistently beautiful experience and highly recommended! We will definitely come back!
