A warm welcome to the health resort Enzklösterle – also lovingly known as the “Blueberry Village” in the Northern Black Forest! Our holiday home Süßbächle is located exactly where holidays are at their best: in a quiet side valley, far from through traffic. Pure nature and total tranquility, situated directly at the edge of the forest and surrounded by idyllic streams, it is the perfect feel-good oasis for people and dogs. The house is picturesquely nestled among lush meadows and dense Black Forest woods – the perfect backdrop to really unwind and take a deep breath. Set off hiking without detours: straight from the front door into adventure!

Modern comfort in a cozy country house style. The holiday home Süßbächle impresses with its high-quality furnishings, where cozy country house elements are given a modern interpretation. Two living rooms with inviting corner sofas, electric fireplaces, and smart TVs provide space for relaxing hours. Two fully equipped kitchens, one with a dining group for up to 10 people for cooking and eating together, including fully automatic coffee machines, leave nothing to be desired for culinary enjoyment. After an active day in the Black Forest, relax in one of the two in-house infrared saunas. Five bedrooms, three daylight bathrooms, two washing machines, and dryers provide additional comfort. The common room: the heart of sociability – here you gather to eat and play together.

A real one-of-a-kind awaits you: The lovingly designed summer leisure oasis from May to September – unheated common room with home cinema, summer kitchen, and access to the garden: the heart of sociability.
The former carport has been transformed into a spacious, rustic-modern meeting place, ideal for breakfast, reading, or movie and game nights – here lasting memories are made. The room is combined with cozy wood paneling and stylish sandstone. Beer tent sets provide enough space for 16 people. The kitchen (right next door): fully equipped with dishes for brunch and buffet, large fridge-freezer combination, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, 2-burner induction hob, sink, and – very important for a relaxed group holiday – a dishwasher. Through the large window front and terrace door, you look directly into the garden. From there, you go straight into the fenced garden with a large dining group and charcoal grill, sun umbrella. Boredom is guaranteed not to arise here: for the kids, small play equipment for shining children's eyes and relaxed parents. Home cinema: large smart TV, projector, and a fixed screen for joint movie nights/sports broadcasts. (Please bring your own access and laptop) As well as a great selection of games for guests big and small. The room can also be used as a storage room.

The garden is equipped with dining groups, charcoal grill, sun umbrellas, and a cozy hanging chair that invites you to relax and unwind. Read a book in comfort while your children play carefree in the garden. For your children, there is a swing and outdoor games available. Here you will also find a lockable garden shed to safely store your e-bikes.

A private, one-meter-high fenced dog playground with direct access to the stream. Here, dogs can romp to their heart's content and splash in the clear water of the Süßbächle on hot days – a refreshing cool-down for humans and dogs.

Our Black Forest house is located in the picturesque Rohnbach Valley in a very quiet edge-of-the-forest location, surrounded by green meadows and wild streams. Here you can enjoy the soothing sounds of the brook and relax in the midst of nature. The small romantic spa village Heidelbeerdorf-Enzklösterle at the Northern Black Forest National Park, between Freudenstadt and Bad Wildbad, lies at just under 690 meters above sea level and offers nature lovers numerous hiking trails, which are also perfect for exploring with e-bikes and dogs. Start your adventurous hike directly from the front door through the primeval forest experience Bärlochkar. The circular hiking trail on narrow paths invites you to the Poppelsee and the Kaltenbachsee. The wild streams with access for your dogs to splash around are only a five-minute walk away. In summer, the Nagold Reservoir and the Schwarzenbach Reservoir, which are only thirty minutes away by car, invite people and dogs to swim. There is also plenty for your children to discover: in the village there is a deer enclosure, an active playground, and an adventure golf park.

The Sankenbachsee near Baiersbronn: A true natural paradise for people and dogs Hidden in the heart of the Northern Black Forest, framed by majestic, densely forested steep slopes, lies a very special gem: the Sankenbachsee. This idyllic cirque lake near Baiersbronn fascinates not only with its mystical, almost untouched atmosphere, but also holds a real highlight for all animal lovers. It is the only lake in the region where swimming for dogs is expressly permitted.
Nature experience at every step
The journey to the Sankenbachsee already begins at the hiking car park in the Sankenbach Valley. After just a few steps, you leave everyday life behind. Passing the picturesque red deer enclosure, the hiking trail winds along the babbling Sankenbach deeper into the valley. The gentle murmur of the water and the scent of fresh fir greenery are the perfect companions on this easy, roughly 3-kilometer-long route, which is also ideal for families and leisurely hikers. The refreshing highlight for four-legged friends After a relaxed hike through the shady forest, the valley opens up and reveals the view of the glittering lake. While the two-legged visitors let their souls unwind on the cozy lawns and wooden benches on the shore, there is no stopping the four-legged ones: the shallow, grassy shore areas offer dogs the perfect, safe entry into the cool water. Thanks to the constant inflow of fresh spring water, the lake remains wonderfully clear – a delightful refreshment on warm summer days! Perfect ending in the Sankenbach Valley If you are hungry after the nature experience and swimming fun, you will be well taken care of in the valley. Just a short distance from the lake, the modern Sankenbach Lodge invites you to stop in. On the sunny terrace, you can let your gaze wander over the valley while enjoying a freshly baked stone-oven pinsa or a piece of homemade cake, while your loyal companion relaxes in the shade. The Sankenbachsee is more than just a hiking destination – it is a place where people and dogs can enjoy the wild beauty of the Black Forest with all their senses together.

In principle, the tenancy law according to the German Civil Code (BGB) applies. The risk of non-arrival can be covered by taking out travel cancellation insurance.
