Description

The semi-detached house has 3 bedrooms. One bedroom with a double bed, a smaller one with a single bed and an open bedroom with a double bed in the attic. The windows on the ground floor and on the first floor are equipped with external shutters. A separate kitchen with a cosy sitting area invites you to enjoy and sit together. The living room is bright and friendly. On cold days the fireplace provides cosy warmth, in summer the south-facing terrace invites you to a comfortable sunny breakfast.
In the sheltered garden you can relax on the sun loungers. For a sociable barbecue evening, an electric table grill is at your disposal.
The house has a garage and another parking space.
A children's high chair and travel cot are available on request.
Beach shells and a water noodle are available for your visit to the beach.

Location and surroundings of object

Caroliensiel is the only place on the North Sea coast with 3 harbours. The romantic museum harbour, the marina and the ferry harbour.
The Strandläufer holiday home is located in a quiet residential area, in the immediate vicinity of the dyke and the Friedrichschleuße , about halfway between the museum harbour and the marina.
The Cliner Quelle, the beach, the museum harbour with the Sielhafen museum and many restaurants, as well as the marina, the ferry harbour and the Wadden Sea are all within a few minutes' walk.

We are happy to provide you with a bed linen and towel package for a fee ( bed linen 15,- Euro per person, towels 8,- Euro per person). A daily flat rate of 8 euros is charged per pet.

Cancellation terms:

The tenant can withdraw from the rental agreement at any time prior to the start of the rental period. In any case, we will endeavor to rent out the vacation home to someone else. However, if this is not successful, a cancellation fee according to the following list is to be paid: - up to 45 days before the start of the rental period 40% of the total rent, at least €50.00 - from 44 days before the start of the rental period 50% of the total rent - from 21 days before the start of the rental period 80% of the total rent

General Terms and Conditions of Contract:

1. Number of persons

The rental property may only be occupied by the number of persons agreed and stated in the rental contract, including pets if applicable. Likewise, the maximum number of persons for which the rental property is equipped (sleeping accommodations) may not be exceeded. An over-occupancy or over-occupancy that has not been reported may lead to the immediate termination of the rental. The costs for this shall be borne by the tenant.

2. Substitute tenant

If the tenant is unable to use the rented property as intended for compelling reasons, he may provide a substitute tenant. However, it is a prerequisite that this intention is notified to us at the latest on the day before the start of the rental period, giving precise details of the substitute tenant (name, address, number of persons). We may object to the change of tenant if there are reasons which lie in the person of the substitute tenant and/or if legal or official regulations conflict with this.

3. Pets

Pets may only be brought along by prior arrangement and must be listed in the booking confirmation

4. Early end of rental

If the tenant ends his stay in the object prematurely, he has no claim for compensation.

5. Arrival and departure

The departure should take place until o'clock on the day of departure. On the day of arrival, the house can be occupied from clock, the handover of keys takes place after prior arrangement

6. Cancellation and cancellation fees

The tenant can withdraw from the rental contract at any time before the start of the rental period. In any case, we will make every effort to let the holiday home to someone else. However, if this is not successful, a cancellation fee according to the following list is to be paid

On the other hand, the landlord may also withdraw from the contract if the rent is not paid on time.


Linen and towel packages

Our rental service will gladly provide you with bed linen and towel packages for a fee.

When providing bed linen and / or towel packages, the rental fee will be charged (bed linen package 14,00 Euro per person, towel package 8 Euro per person). If you have not ordered any linen at the time of booking, you can do so up to 2 days before arrival.

8. Cancellation insurance

The rental price does not include travel cancellation insurance. We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.

9. Complaints

Despite all our efforts, it cannot be ruled out that there may be grounds for complaints in individual cases. These should please be forwarded to us immediately. If, in the case of a justified complaint, we are unable to rectify the problem within a reasonable period of time, you may assert claims for non-contractual fulfilment of the rental agreement within one week of the end of the rental period. This must be done in writing, addressed to us

10. Written form

In the interest of both parties, cancellation, rebooking and change declarations should always be made in writing.

11. Cancellation of the rental contract

If the fulfilment of the rental contract is directly and specifically made considerably more difficult, endangered, impaired or made impossible as a result of force majeure (natural disasters, war, civil unrest), we shall be released from our contractual obligation. You are not entitled to compensation or other claims in this case.

12. House rules

Please observe the house rules. In the event of repeated, serious breaches of the house rules, the landlord may terminate the tenancy agreement prematurely.
In this case, the tenant is not entitled to a refund of the rent or compensation for damages.

13. Bicycles

The bicycles provided free of charge are not part of the rental contract.

Short vacation New Year's transition

We had chosen the accommodation over the New Year. Amenities as described were sufficient. A major drawback is the inadequate heating of the house, as a temperature of just under 19°C for the very small bathroom is not exactly cozy for showering. Meanwhile, the outside temperature was around 0°C. The seating area in the kitchen could then be used after vacuuming the dog hair. Since we had brought our own beds, the existing summer blankets could be stored in the closet. The information folder typically found in such accommodations was indeed present, but it was already quite outdated. The support from the agency is certainly still improvable: the email notification regarding supposedly missing data for spa services reached us 1 hour before departure, and a confirmation of the payment made via bank transfer was also not received. The cards were then, however, on arrival in the house on the kitchen table. Apart from the arrival call to the agency and an SMS regarding the key safe, there was no further communication. The location corresponds to the description.

Leider haben Sie nicht den Kontakt zur Ferienhausbetreuung oder zu mir als Eigentümer gesucht. Die Heizung ist neu und natürlich ausreichend für das Haus. Es musste lediglich eine Einstellung geändert werden.

Nice vacation house in a good location.

We were guests at your vacation home Strandläufer for the first time from December 27, 2021 to January 2, 2022. The amenities are okay, unfortunately there is no dishwasher. We felt very comfortable and want to spend the coming New Year's Eve there as well. The location is optimal as both Carolinensiel and Harlesiel can be easily reached on foot, as the vacation home is located exactly in the middle between the two places. The price-performance ratio is absolutely okay. There is a large garage that even has electricity, so you can also cook something outdoors using an electric pan or grill here. We will definitely come back.

Completely satisfied!

After an uncomplicated booking, we arrived and found a large, clean, and well-equipped holiday house. The pictures online correspond to reality. The house is located exactly between the towns Carolinensiel and Harlesiel. There are several parking options directly at the house. In addition, at least one vehicle can be parked in the driveway of the house.

The house has three floors (ground floor, upper floor, converted attic). The rooms are nicely and tastefully furnished. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, from various electrical appliances to cutlery and glasses, everything is available.

The bedrooms on the upper floor (master bedroom and children's room) are perfectly sufficient, nicely furnished, and the beds are comfortable. There are enough wardrobes to store clothes.

In the converted attic, there is another double bed. This is comfortable as well. The only negative point here is the gas heater. It is located opposite the bed and hums / hisses at irregular intervals. However, if you sleep on the upper floor and not in the attic, it won't matter.

All in all, a very nice house. We would definitely visit it again and accordingly recommend it.
