Description
A cosily furnished holiday home awaits you, which has been integrated into a farm building built in 1896, at the back of our farm with an adjoining small animal paddock and terrace facing south. The granny annexe was last renovated in 2017 and includes a spacious living room with leather couch and satellite TV, a bedroom with double bed and double bunk bed, a kitchen with refrigerator and freezer, cooker, dishwasher, coffee maker and a shower room with washing machine.
On the terrace there is garden furniture, parasol and barbecue for the evenings.
A boat belongs to the accommodation and is included in the price. The six lakes in the immediate vicinity of the farm invite you to swim and fish. For anglers, the lakes offer a very good fish stock thanks to the remoteness, the low fishing pressure and stocking measures of the local fisherman. All lakes can be fished with a card. Cutting days are the absolute exception. The lakes are between 1.5 and 160 ha in size and 2 to 11 m deep. The fish restaurant and the fisherman's boat rental are also located at Sternhagener See.

The village is located about 80 km north of Berlin and about 10 km south of the town of Prenzlau.
Sternhagen is a small old farming village with 50 inhabitants, about 10 km south of the town of Prenzlau. There are no main roads or the like, so you can relax in peace and quiet and are only hindered by the mooing of cows, the neighing of horses or the crowing of a rooster. Southwest of the village is an extensive forest area for cycling or walking.
In the village, apart from a church, there is only our farm shop where you can buy home-made pork sausages, free-range poultry or other regional specialities.

Super holiday flat
We have found what we were looking for! Peace , relaxation a real country life ! Pure nature and everything was just right for our dog!

Any time again!
We (two adults 50+ and a dog) spent our holiday there in the Uckermark from 05/06 to 16/06/22. Farm, geese, ducks and chickens were our direct neighbours. We miss them now. We enjoyed our time there very much. We could also visit the animals on the farm at any time during the day. There were pigs, cows, horses, rabbits, cats and dogs.
The hosts are super nice and were always concerned about our well-being, but always let us holiday in peace.
If you love country life as much as we do, this is the place for you. We felt very comfortable here and will definitely come back!

Child friendly
Nice uncomplicated hosts. Child-friendly - my daughter was very happy about a small tour of the farm. Bringing a dog was no problem at all. We didn't miss anything - there was even a washing machine, which is worth its weight in gold with a child. Very quiet location in the village - for shopping etc. you always have to drive a little bit.
