Detached luxury holiday villa in a very quiet top location in traditional architecture made of natural stones. The holiday villa is situated on a hill on the outskirts of the village of Pitsidia on an 8000m² plot. Unobstructed dreamlike view of the sunset in the Libyan sea and the Ida mountains. The infinity pool (45 m²) with counter-current system and adjoining Jacuzzi/children's pool also has sea view.
With 150 m² of interior living space and 4 terraces on 370 m², it offers an extremely large amount of space for eight adults.
Individually designed furnishings made of pure natural woods await you. For your restful sleep, you will find beds made of pure natural materials of the Coco-Mat brand in the bedrooms.

Villa Inia is detached and located in the south of Crete on the west coast of the Messara Plain on a hill on the outskirts of the village of Pitsidia on a plot of 8000m².
You enjoy an unobstructed dreamlike view of the sunset in the Libyan Sea as well as the Psiloritis mountains and a very quiet location.
The orientation of Villa Inia is to the west. Unforgettable sunsets in the sea are guaranteed.
Below Villa Inia there is also a footpath leading to the sandy beach of Komos.

Your destination airport is Heraklion on Crete. Regular direct flights are offered by all major airlines during the peak tourist season from May to October.
It is 65 km from the airport to the villa and the journey by rental car or taxi takes about 45 minutes. We will be happy to assist you in booking a rental car. In the small former fishing and farming village of Pitsidia, with about 700 inhabitants, you can still find the old flair of the hippie town of Matala in the seventies. Narrow alleys and colourful gardens characterise the village.
Beautiful holiday homes, villas and guesthouses not only give the village of Pitsidia its special charm, but also the tavernas with their traditional cuisine.
In Pitsidia, private rooms, flats, holiday villas or holiday homes are offered without exception. In recent years, some very beautiful properties have been added, some of them rebuilt old stone houses.
Pitsidia is one of the oldest villages in Crete. In the narrow streets of the village you will find several restaurants, cafes, mini-markets, a butcher, a pharmacy and a car rental.
In addition, Pitsidia offers occasional live music evenings, a kafenion, a hairdresser, and jewellery stalls. Visit the bakery and pastry shop on the southern outskirts of the village.
It is a versatile place where many artists have found a second home.
You are guaranteed to have an unforgettable stay in Pitsidia, far away from mass tourism. Pitsidia has preserved its originality, its inhabitants are known for their hospitality. However, the main source of income, apart from renting accommodation, is still agriculture. Olive trees and the production of oil or the cultivation of wine still determine the everyday life of the inhabitants. You can buy these products cheaply in many small shops in the village.

A Dream Villa
We have just got back from two glorious weeks in Villa Inia. We had the most wonderful time. We were very warmly greeted by the lovely Birgit, who made us feel very welcome and that nothing was too much trouble. The villa is beautiful, very clean, spacious and well equipped. It is also incredibly peaceful and private, we felt like we were in our own little bubble there. The pool is the best we have had, a great size and very clean too. The villa has great views over the sea and the mountains and we regularly enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening as we watched the sunset. The villa is about a 10 minute gentle stroll into Pitsidia, where there a great choice of places to eat. Our host Birgit, was lovely and incredibly kind and helpful. We were very sad to leave and would highly recommend the villa.

Excellent holiday house!
The group was very happy to spend 1 week in this property. It is very nicely decorated, lightful, with a great view on the sea and a beautiful swimming-pool. In addition, Birgit is very efficient and helpful.

Traumurlaub
We stayed with two families at Villa Inia and had a wonderful time. The house is in very good condition and the on-site support was very warm and exceptionally good. The location allows walking access to the town and the beach. The view from the terrace and pool overlooking the sea is beautiful. We can only recommend Villa Inia!

Ein wunderschöne Villa
We were traveling with two families and a total of 5 children and it was just fantastic. The facilities are really perfect - not only tastefully done, but also in the kitchen and elsewhere, there is really everything you need. The pool is great and the view of the sea and the overall location is simply perfect. We will definitely come back :-)

Dream villa with direct sea views and beautiful sunsets
Oh, what can we say: a dream villa and you really can't find anything (absolutely nothing) to criticize. Great location: easily accessible from the airport, restaurants and shopping within walking distance, and simply breathtaking sea views with postcard-worthy sunsets. TOP equipment: someone really thought ahead here (kitchen, bathrooms, rooms) everything is available and very high quality (never had such good coffee in a holiday home), super clean (and I am very picky) and everything is very well maintained.
The outdoor area is very spacious and on the many terraces everyone can find peace (if they want to), but there is plenty of space for everyone together (enough loungers available). And what can I say: the pool is amazing (infinity with a view of the sea) and of course very well-maintained. The service and care are very personal and unique. Insider tips included! A TOP 5***** villa! We will definitely come back!
