Simply breathtaking

We had the great luck to spend 17 wonderful days in Villa Efrossini. It was simply dreamy! The spacious accommodation is excellent for relaxing and feeling good. The amenities, which leave nothing to be desired, the cleanliness, and the stylish decor throughout the house, and above all. The beautiful and spacious outdoor area with various seating options, the pool, and sensational views of the sea and the expanse convinced us greatly and made saying goodbye difficult. The area is also extremely impressive, and we were able to make great discoveries during many excursions in the surrounding region. The care provided by Bärbel and Fani on-site was very warm and uncomplicated. Thank you very much for that! We are already dreaming of our next vacation at Villa Efrossini.

Feel-good vacation in a dreamy setting

Where should one begin? Our time in the Villa Efrossini was simply wonderful from the first to the last minute! Even before our arrival, Bärbel took care of a smooth start. We were warmly welcomed by her and her son Fani and were introduced to the great villa in a very uncomplicated way. A heartfelt thank you to you for your friendly, relaxed willingness to help - it contributed greatly to our feeling so comfortable! The villa is a beautiful house, equipped with everything one could need and where one can discover a new great detail every day. It has, despite all the comfort, character and a very personal aura. The location is dreamy, with a wonderful view of the sea and a lot of nature. There are so many favorite spots to relax and enjoy - we can’t imagine it any nicer and are very much looking forward to coming back. Thank you very much to the Stöffel family for sharing your home with us vacationers!

A wonderful vacation in a wonderful villa.

We, four adults and two children, spent ten days at Villa Efrossini. It is a wonderful house, very stylishly and lovingly furnished, with a beautiful garden and sea view. The many seating and lounging areas in the outdoor space and on the two terraces ensure that everyone finds their ideal spot. The view is always magnificent. Our grandchildren (8 and 11) eagerly enjoyed the pool. Bärbel provided excellent on-site support, always ready with advice, assistance, and warmth. The villa is conveniently located, with a pharmacy, supermarket, bakery, ATM, and restaurants reachable within a 5-minute walk, and it takes half an hour to walk to Komo Beach. A heartfelt thank you to Bärbel and the Stöffel family, as well as to Manolis, who created this beautiful villa.

Feel-good holiday

We were in the villa for 10 days in July with my son. The contact before our arrival was always very friendly and prompt. We were also received very warmly on-site and given a great introduction.
The house is very clean, fully equipped, tastefully and cozy furnished. You can see that it is well cared for. The cleaning team and the gardener also took great care of the house during our stay – we were not disturbed by their visits. You can reach delicious local restaurants, a bakery, and a pharmacy on foot. In the small town, there are a few nice shops where you can buy souvenirs. Matala is nearby and easily accessible, where you can also visit the caves and enjoy a nice stroll around the town. The beach is easily reachable by car, and there is always parking available, so you don’t have to walk far. You can also grab a snack and drinks at the beach during lunchtime. Since it was almost 40 degrees, we unfortunately couldn't go on many trips and were very grateful for the dreamy pool at the house.
A very nice vacation that we would like to repeat.

Beautiful holiday home with pool

We spent 10 days in the Villa Efrossini and we were totally thrilled and felt very comfortable. The holiday home has charm and from the roof terrace, there is a beautiful view of the sea and the quiet surroundings. The house is very spacious, super clean, and equipped with everything one needs. The air conditioning in the living and dining area as well as in the bedrooms worked perfectly, and the Wi-Fi reception was great. The pool was great and it was cleaned several times during our stay. There were also enough loungers available in the outdoor area. Taverns, a bakery, a pharmacy, and a mini-supermarket are very easily accessible on foot. Bärbel ensured a smooth and friendly booking process from the start and welcomed us warmly on site.

A feel-good oasis!

We, as a couple, were for the 2nd time in Pitsidia and for the first time in this house for 2 weeks at the end of May/ beginning of June 2024 and were thrilled! There is so much attention to detail everywhere and everything you need for a stay is available - from plenty of towels to the initial supply of coffee & dishwasher tabs! The house is wonderfully spacious and cooled down to pleasant temperatures in just a few minutes through the very good air conditioning units present in every room - we had several days with over 35°C in the first week of June!
The somewhat remote location provides wonderful tranquility, and many taverns are within walking distance!
Bärbel is a wonderful and lovely property manager!
We felt very comfortable and would love to come back!

Very beautiful house in a beautiful environment.

11 relaxing days

We consciously chose this accommodation. Although the owner changed at the beginning of the year, nothing changed. The house is located slightly outside the village, but everything is within walking distance. Large outdoor area with several loungers and seating options. Pool, small but fine. The view is fantastic over the valley and towards the sea. In the evening, our favorite place was on the balcony with a view of the starry sky with a glass of wine. The typical Greek house is equipped with everything you need. The kitchen has plenty of dishes and glasses, so you don't have to run the dishwasher every day. Manolis, the builder of the house, has left his mark everywhere, there is something to discover everywhere. Bärbel takes care of big and small problems promptly and always in a good mood. Thank you for that. We'll be back!

Fairytale Beautiful!

Where do we start - the house is so incredibly beautiful, everything is so lovingly designed and the view is legendary! We spent a week with six people (family with four children) at Efrossini and it was a real stroke of luck! Many thanks to Bärbel for your helpfulness and the many great tips. We were also able to book the rental car through you. And thanks also to Manolis, he visited us, brought us figs and melon. So warm-hearted!

We are relaxed and completely renewed. The location is fantastic. Even though we mostly took the car to the Kommos beach because of the heat,... the beautiful beach is within walking distance (about 20-25 minutes). Tip: sunset at the Bunga-Bunga Bar, fish dinner above the beach at the Vrachos Taverna. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see any turtles hatch.

Pitsidia is a little gem and there are so many great tavernas here, supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, all within walking distance. Matala and Red Beach are around the corner, as well as Kalamaki or Agia Galini. Sivas is also only a few minutes' drive away - the great ceramic shop in the village is addictive. We went to the market in Tymbaki, to the palm beach of Preveli (definitely arrive before 10 am, before the buses and boats bring in the tourist crowds - it's incredibly beautiful then). We have experienced so many beautiful things and will definitely come back! Thank you very much, dear Stöffel family!

Wonderful vacation!

Beautiful, well-maintained house with typical Greek flair, obviously built and furnished with much love. Great location, about 5 minutes to the beach, many sights quickly and conveniently accessible. Of course, a car is necessary, generally on Crete. Great local restaurants nearby. The hosts are warm, helpful, always quickly accessible, the contact and atmosphere was very familiar. Everything was so clean and smelled so fresh that we wondered if all the couch cushions and covers are washed after each rental ;-). We would love to come back sometime!

Again and again, Efrossini ... ?

In Haus Efrossini, we have felt very comfortable for the third time in a row now. We never thought we would go to the same place twice, and now we have been there four times and will gladly come back. Not only because the house is so beautiful and really equipped with many lovely details, but also because you can do everything on foot from here: bakery, supermarket, restaurant, beach... The house is also a good starting point for hikes to nearby villages. There is plenty of space both inside and outside, so you feel comfortable, whether it's sunny or rainy weather. The hospitality of Manolis and Bärbel is overwhelming. Another reason to come back again and again. Many thanks!

Efrossini = Fantastic !!

Good morning Efrossini!!

Here we are again, as two years ago we already visited!

And unfortunately not forever, because you actually don't want to go home! This is the oasis and paradise! Simply indescribable!

The dear manager Bärbel takes care of everything wonderfully and manages everything perfectly, and Manolis - the owner - is so kind and very, very hospitable! His hospitality is truly unique and special.

Wonderful again!

This summer we were back in Pitsidia with Manolis - finally, as we had been postponed twice because of Corona - and this time, as a whole family, in Villa Efrossini. What can I say, everything was wonderful: the favourable, quiet location with a view of the sea and within walking distance of the town, the individually and tastefully designed and very well equipped house, Manolis, who doesn't miss the opportunity to cook and barbecue for his guests, Bärbel, who is so friendly and helpful, approachable for all questions, Maria, who keeps everything super clean....because of the heat we mainly enjoyed ourselves in the sea and pool, but otherwise the surrounding area offers many delightful destinations and the place itself is something for those looking for something other than package tourism.
We hope to be able to come back soon!

It was the second time...and we will come back.

We were at Manolis' for the second time this year and what can I say, it was almost even more beautiful than last year. The villa this year, like all of Manolis' houses, is super beautiful and furnished with a lot of love, everything you need to be happy is there, the surroundings are very quiet and relaxed, shopping, restaurants, and the beach are within walking distance. Manolis is very hospitable and always provides his guests with many delicious treats, and Bärbel always has an open ear for both big and small questions. In short, we felt really comfortable and will definitely come back.

Ein Traumurlaub

We were at Villa Effrosini for the first time, but certainly not the last. The owner Monolis is the epitome of Cretan hospitality. Whether a spontaneous barbecue at the large family table, a self-made omelette with typical island ingredients, a fresh fruit basket, the melons or self-harvested olive oil... The highlight was a shared fish dinner - of course, prepared the Cretan way and caught by the landlord himself. Simply indescribable! Together with Bärbel, the house manager, he ensures a smooth holiday. The house corresponds 1:1 to the photos and was immaculately cleaned multiple times by Nicki, following COVID-19 protocols. Nothing was missing. It was our 4th time on the island, the 2nd time in the village of Petsidia. Nowhere else have we been received and taken care of so carefree and friendly - a dream vacation!

Once again a highlight at the Pachaxis and Bärbel family.

We were at Villa Effrosini for the first time, previously in other houses of Manolis. The hospitality is indescribable. Traumhaus

Just as described, we found everything. The superb, quiet location of the house, as well as the creative, homely, and beautiful furnishings, made our stay perfect. The pool and the spacious terrace with a view of the sea were fantastic. Here you can find peace and relaxation. Pisidia is still free from mass tourism, and everything is within easy walking distance. Special thanks to Bärbel for her friendly and very supportive nature. Manolis, the builder and owner, is not only a friendly, creative host but also a very good cook. We really enjoyed his Greek dinner on Wednesday. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful Dream Vacation House

We have now been to Manolis and Bärbel's for the second time (and certainly not the last time!). Villa Effrossini is a beautiful, spacious house with a generous terrace, lovely pool, and great, perfect amenities. The house is detached and located in a quiet environment. We didn't miss anything and had a wonderful and relaxing time. The town (and its great restaurants) are within walking distance. No mass tourism, but very gentle and manageable. Manolis is a warm and friendly host, Bärbel is very supportive and dedicated when it comes to tailoring the holiday to our needs. Dream house with fantastic hosts.

Based on the reviews here, we arrived with high expectations. These expectations were more than met, even exceeded. Manolis and Bärbel are simply indescribably great and friendly hosts. The house is a dream. The unrestricted view and the proximity to the sea are priceless. Everything you need is available in Villa Efrossini. Even dishwasher tabs, etc. are in stock. Nothing to complain about. Manolis treated us to culinary delights several times and took care of us, which also allowed us to get to know the residents of his other houses. It was very nice. A very lovable and attentive person. A unique character! The caretaker Bärbel is just the same! The pool was the highlight for our children. All in all, one of our best vacations. Manolis and Bärbel will definitely see us again!

A journey to the origin!

We found this villa and the village of Pitsidia on the internet. What we read gave us the impression that we had found something special in this day and age. Booked - travelled and landed in paradise! Everything was as we had hoped, unbelievable! House, beaches, sea, environment, cats (we love them),
Tavernas and these incredibly friendly people. First and foremost Manolis, a host personality, and Bärbel, his house and guest caretaker, truly humanitarians. Guys, you should definitely get to know this place. You can find personal happiness there...if you are still able to do so yourself! So, it

A great vacation

The villa is comfortably furnished, and the house and terrace are lovingly designed. We were warmly cared for by Bärbel and Manolis. We got to know Manolis as the nice Greek who took care of the pool and always brought us something: a bottle of oil, a few eggs. It turned out that Manolis is not only the owner of this house (and six other houses) but also its builder - as a craftsman and artist. Those who love Greek cuisine will feel right at home in this region. The restaurants in the village serve delicious food and have a friendly family atmosphere. If you also enjoy cooking (the villa has a well-equipped kitchen), you should visit the market in Mires on Saturdays to buy fresh local vegetables there.

Fabelhaft

The villa is a dream with many lovely details, leaving no wishes unfulfilled. The nice landlord and his German property manager are a great team, always helpful and reachable at any time! The location of the villa is beautiful on a slope with mesmerizing sea views. You can go out for great meals in the nearby restaurants as well as in the neighboring towns. We have noticed that the villagers of Pitsidia are especially friendly and open-minded, we have not experienced this so intensively anywhere else so far. The beach of Komo has crystal clear water and although there are also many other beautiful beaches in the area, we spent most of our time there. All in all, a super nice holiday and certainly not our last in this great house.

Vacation couldn't be better! The house is superbly located, only 15-20 minutes on foot to the beach and 5 minutes to the village center. We fell in love with this house, especially due to the beautiful view of the sea and nature. The house is well-equipped, even with mosquito screens on the windows! Manoli is a very nice landlord. We arrived late in the evening and were greeted with a delicious meal that Manolis brought to us. So we could sit and relax on the terrace right after arriving and simply enjoy. We will definitely come back! We also want to mention Bärbel, the very nice German manager, who gave us great tips for excursions. Thank you very much for the great time with you!
