"The House in the Forest of Fontainebleau" is a very comfortable cottage for up to 5 people, located on a private property in the forest, at the beginning of hiking trails, wellknown with climbing enthusiasts from all countries. The region is also rich in culture, castles, historical heritage ..... and Paris/Versailles or EuroDisney are only 50 minutes away
The interior is modern and cosy. The house offers every comfort to enjoy carefree leisure during your stay.
The house is part of a 3000m2 property, the covered pool is open exclusively for guests from 13:00 to 19:00 from mid April to late October.
We provide Crashpads for rock climbing and bikes for Mountain biking.
The house is 100m2.
The large kitchen is equipped with every comfort: washing machine, dryer, fridge, freezer, oven and extractor hood, microwave, electric vitroceramic plate, dishwasher, coffeemachines etc.
The dining room opens on to the wood.
Upstairs 2 bedrooms separated by a large TV lounge. Bathroom and toilet.
Outside garden and table seating for dining for 5 people.
There is a sitting area under the pines. You can eat, have a BBQ, play ping pong, play table football .....

We are in the Massif des Trois Pignons and Rocher Caillaux, on the way to the 25 bosses circuit known to all hikers in France and Europe. Main climbing sites are within walking distance.

Milly-la-Forêt : In 1479, Admiral Graville obtained the right to build the market Hall and hold 3 fairs a year and a weekly market.
Le Vaudoué is a small village in the forest of Trois Pignons, 5 km from Milly la Forêt, 11 km from Fontainebleau.

There is a large garden with covered pool, mountain bikes and crashpads at your disposal. The best equipped gite in the area. Open throughout the year.
Large and well equipped kitchen with all appliances available : fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, vitroceramic cooker, dishwasher, expresso machine, washing machine, drying machine. Possibility to eat outside (BBQ). Bedrooms upstairs with living room/shower and toilets. Towels and bedlinnen furnished.
The house is located in the forest (Trois Pignons) within few minutes walking distance of the main bouldering sites and hiking paths. Garage and parking space in front of the house. One hour driving from Paris/Versailles/Disney.

Beautifully equipped, perfect location, and lovely landlords ❤️
We spent two wonderful weeks at Joelle and Patrick's gîte with our two small children. We were warmly welcomed and looked after. The house is insanely well equipped and offers various forms of entertainment. We were able to make good use of the pool already. The climbing areas are within walking distance. There are enough crashpads available, as well as bicycles. We felt very comfortable and will come back. Thank you very much!

An all-round successful holiday...super lovely landlords.? Always approachable..good tips for excursions and helpful..We felt very comfortable as a family with 2 children/14 years..Everything you need is there. our new favourite
Very nice landlords, who even gave us a huge fruit plate as a welcome gift and surprised us in between with a home-made cake. Hhmm, delicious! Many thanks again. They were always there for us: be it with helpful tips for those unfamiliar with the place, with information about the weather or warnings about train strikes, questions about how we were feeling and whether everything was OK - reserved and discreet, not too much and not too little.
A wonderful location for all bouldering and hiking enthusiasts. Directly out of the back garden, you are immediately in the forest and only a 5-30 minute walk away from many different bouldering areas. You can safely leave the car in the yard and only need it for the one or other shopping trip. Several crash pads, various bouldering guides and hiking maps can be used free of charge
The kitchen is superbly equipped, with enough plates, cups, cutlery.... various appliances from toasters to hand mixers, blenders.... various coffee machines, kettles... to oven, microwave, washing machine and dryer.... You won't miss anything here!
The rooms are cosy and nicely furnished. There is enough storage space for the things you brought with you. Here, too, simple things such as a wooden chess set or Mikado, various books (when your own holiday reading is coming to an end), several DVD's or cuddly toys are a surprise....
We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back again!

A holiday that leaves nothing to be desired
We spent our holidays in the house by the forest with two teenage daughters and all expectations were met or even exceeded.
Whether the well-equipped kitchen, the cosy living room, the huge pool at your own disposal, cosy evenings on the mosquito-free terrace, the TT match, the direct entrance into the forest to the great climbing rocks, excursion possibilities in the immediate vicinity (Barbizon/artists' village, Fontainebleau castle, Le Cyclop/ walk-in work of art, etc.) or in less than an hour to Paris, the house was very friendly and helpful.) or in less than an hour to Paris...., plus very friendly and helpful landlords within easy reach....for us it was perfect and I can only recommend this holiday home.
We would have liked to stay longer.
