Description
After a long search we have found our dream house that we would like to share with you.
Our 'Klippitzhäusl' combines high standard with a lot of comfort, as well as modern equipment and an authentic home feeling through a homely atmosphere. It has been individually furnished with attention to detail and bears the personal touch of the owner.
On the ground floor there is a hallway (ski boot heating), a small separate toilet room, an open living-dining room (satellite TV, flat screen) with couch, an open kitchen (stove with oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster) with sitting area and central heating by sight gas boiler.
On the 1st floor there are 2 bedrooms with double beds and a children's room with a staggered bunk bed measuring 90 cm x 170 cm, as well as a bathroom with wellness shower, WC and washbasin-mirror combination.
We provide a small selection of food, spices, kitchen roll and toilet paper and there is now an almshop in Klippitzdorf for food and drinks. This is open from 0-24 o'clock and you can pay in cash, with credit or debit card
Parking space for vehicles is available at the house.

Location and surroundings of object
New wooden house (chalet) in the beautiful skiing and hiking area Klippitztörl - Lavanttal, on the sunny side of Carinthia. With us you can start directly from the house on the ski slopes or for hiking or mountain biking pleasure. Our house is situated at 1500 m above sea level in the middle of an alpine meadow in a new alpine village settlement. Enjoy the mountain panorama and forest all around. A mountain experience in all seasons, whether as a family, couple or group. If you are looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, you will find peace and quiet away from mass tourism. If you prefer a sporty and active holiday, you can go skiing, snowboarding, touring, snowshoeing in winter or hiking, mountain biking, golfing, climbing, Nordic walking and much more in summer. The summer toboggan run and the climbing garden are within walking distance. Don't forget to stop for a bite to eat in the many inns, alpine huts, snack stations and the Buschenschenken, because fresh mountain air makes you hungry. Excursion destinations: Wolfsberg, Klagenfurt, Graz, Wörthersee/Klopeinersee, castles, fortresses. From 2014 onwards there will be a Formula 1 Grand Prix in Spielberg (distance 35 km), but even so the Red Bull Ring is worth a trip.
In winter: Ski, snowboard ,touring skis or snowshoes strap on and after about 300 m the slope fun begins. Spend your well-deserved winter holiday in Carinthia's insider tip - Klippitztörl has risen to the top league of Carinthia's ski areas: - 6 lifts; - 13 runs; - 28 km of pistes, snowboard point; - hardly any waiting times; - floodlit skiing, night tobogganing; high-altitude cross-country ski run; generous snowmaking; - favourable children's rates and family packages up to 25% cheaper, - children's centre with free rope lift, - ski hire and snow sports school on site, - guided snowshoe hikes, - touring, winter hiking, rustic ski huts with Carinthian hospitality and affordable delicacies.

Golf: The course is located in the middle of the Lavant Valley, the 'Paradise of Carinthia', only 3 minutes by car from the centre of the district capital. The nine fairways stretch over a slightly hilly terrain and offer golfers of all levels a varied game and very good practice opportunities. 9-hole course ( -18-hole green fee) Guests are always welcome. Club card with registered handicap (45) is required. VcG players are admitted. Etiquette - soft spikes required. Cell phones allowed on course. GPS devices permitted. Clubhouse, guest sanitary, restaurant, rental clubs, practice bunker, The precise, short game is very important in Wolfsberg!
The town of Bad St. Leonhard is easily accessible via the Südautobahn (Bad St. Leonhard exit). It is the cultural and economic centre of the upper Lavant Valley. The historic centre of the town, consisting of beautiful houses with Biedermeier facades, as well as a Marian column, is surrounded by a partially well-preserved town wall.
The Gothic Leonhardi Church built on a hill is also worth seeing, as are the Kunigund Church, the ruins of Gomarn Castle and the Ehrenfels, Wiesenau and Lichtengraben Castles

Super location with perfect view
The location on the edge of the forest with a panoramic view over the mountain is just perfect.
Equipment / room layout and furnishings are very good, as is the price-performance ratio.

Wunderschöne Schitage
Das Klippitzhäusl ist sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. In der Küche ist wirklich alles vorhanden. Die Piste ist zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen.

Wonderful house in a dream landscape
We, 2 adults and 2 children were in the Klippitzhäusle for 5 days and what can we say, everything was perfect. It definitely deserves 5 *.
There is nothing lacking and we felt very comfortable
The area has a lot to offer and children as well as adults get their money's worth.
The contact with the Hausn family was also very friendly and helpful.
We would definitely recommend the cottage to others and will certainly come back again.

At some point we have fulfilled the dream of a holiday home in the mountains and would like to share our happiness with you to get to know and love this wonderful spot on earth. It was important to us that the house has such a location that you can reach the ski slopes without a car and in summer the hiking trails start at the front door. The small, but perfectly prepared skiing area in Klippitztörl and the many possibilities in summer have persuaded us to build our house here.
