Our holiday home is close to the beach between Alkmaar and Den Helder on the North Holland coast near the open North Sea in the quiet bungalow park De Belkmerduinen. Children and dogs (free of charge) are welcome with us. The holiday home is very quiet, situated away from the road, behind the garden there is a large flower/vegetable field, dense planting to the neighboring properties. From the terrace you can admire the sunrise. It is the middle house of a staggered group of three houses, separated from the other houses by a storage room each (for noise protection). It has its own garden, fenced 60 cm high, furniture (partly adjustable chairs, grill), wind-protected sun terrace, dense planting to the neighboring properties and is furnished for 4-6 people. You will find 2 bedrooms and 2 additional beds on a secured mezzanine, an open living/dining area incl. fitted kitchen with microwave as well as ample kitchen equipment, high chair, sufficient closet space, satellite TV, garden furniture, grill as well as many small things that will make your stay easier and more pleasant. Free Wi-Fi. Heating is provided by gas central heating, the white-green plastic windows have double glazing and can be darkened by curtains.
In the surroundings you will find many sports and leisure opportunities.

Location and surroundings of object
The small town of Sint Maartenszee is located on one of the most beautiful and sunniest stretches of beach in the Netherlands.
In the immediate vicinity of the house you will find a supermarket, restaurant, snack bar, indoor swimming pool, sauna, solarium, mini-golf course, laundromat, tennis courts; about 1.5 km away there are additional shopping, dining, and tennis options, bicycle rental, as well as a large children's recreation center (active games, e.g. pedal boats, trampoline, ...) with indoor playground.
It is 1.5 km to the edge of the dunes, and the beach is another 700 m further: long, fine sandy beach, 30 km. Free parking is available for cars at the edge of the dunes and for bicycles at the beach (bike path).
The location of the house gives you the opportunity to relax in peace, whether hiking and swimming on the wide, 30 km long, fine sandy beach, cycling on endless bike paths through polder landscapes, dunes, and beautiful flower fields, or fishing at canals, piers, or in the sea. It is also a good starting point for excursions to many tourist attractions (e.g. cheese market in Alkmaar, museums, picturesque towns, Texel, airport and city center of Amsterdam, ...) as well as for further sporting activities (e.g. golf and horseback riding in Julianadorp and Alkmaar, tennis and squash hall in Schagen, surfing lake (Dirkshorn), deep sea fishing (Den Helder)). A large, covered shopping center and Aldi can be found in Schagen (9 km).
Outside the main season, not all facilities may always be open.

Cozy and uncomplicated
We booked last minute.. within a week we were able to easily book this small cozy house. Contact with the owners regarding necessary information was perfect and we were able to check in without any problems. Not far from the dunes and the sea. Recommended for a small family.

Perfect location, cozy house
We spent a really nice vacation over New Year's in the bungalow, just the two of us with our two dogs. The path to the sea and the forest is very beautiful and short. The place is great for long walks. When we were there, there wasn't much going on due to the lockdown, but because of the location, this was absolutely not a disadvantage.

Beautiful holiday home with fenced garden
The house is very well equipped and appears very well maintained.
There is a grocery store nearby, but the way to the beach is a bit further.
As dog owners, we appreciated that the garden was fenced in, allowing the dog to move freely.
The landlord was friendly and even offered us an extension of one more day during our stay, which we gladly accepted.

Vacation with dogs
Quietly located house in a bungalow park. Small garden at the back, with low fencing, so for a large dog you have to be careful that he doesn't jump to the neighbor. Great wide beach nearby. Very nice landlords, always friendly and helpful. The house is recommendable, we liked it there. Only downside for me personally... the duvets.
Due to Corona, unfortunately, almost everything was closed.

Die Höhe des Zauns wurde den Gästen schon in der ersten Info mitgeteilt. Wir waren zur selben Zeit in Julianadorp, die Geschäfte waren alle geöffnet, der Supermarkt am Campingplatz und gegenüber dem Ferienhauspark waren noch nicht geöffnet, weil es zu früh in der Saison war, auch das stand im Infoblatt.

Peace and relaxation with dog
If you want peace and quiet, this is the place for you! Nice and clean holiday home with a garden in a small park. Shopping possibilities (supermarket) just around the corner, several restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Many interesting places to see around and a very beautiful landscape for walking, with or without a dog. The wonderful beach is easily accessible. We lacked nothing, tranquility and relaxation were almost perfect for us. Friendly landlady.

Für kleine Familie weiter zu empfehen.
Der Weg zum Meer und in den Wald ist sehr schön und kurz. Der Ort bietet sich für schöne, lange Spaziergänge an.
Als wir da waren, war Lockdown bedingt sehr wenig los. Durch die Lage war das aber absolut kein Nachteil.
In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es ein Lebensmittelgeschäft, der Weg zum Strand ist dafür etwas weiter.
Für uns als Hundehalter hat uns gefallen, dass der Garten eingezäunt ist und somit der Hund sich frei bewegen konnte.
Freundlicher Vermieter, der uns während des Aufenthalts noch eine Verlängerung um einen Tag angeboten hatte, was wir sehr gern angenommen hatten.
Bedingt durch Corona hatte leider fast alles geschlossen.
Man ist schnell in Den Helder, von dort kommt man schnell und günstig nach Texel, weitere schöne Orte in der Nähe erreichbar.
Habe es über Internet gebucht hat alles super funktioniert (unkompliziert) und war auch so wie dort beschrieben.Die Lage war super sehr zentral mit dem Auto sind viele Ausflugziele alles sehr gut zu erreichen. Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Also alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen,war ein super Urlaub.
Die Vermieter sind unwahrscheinlich nett und sehr hilfsbereit.
Es hat uns dort sehr gut gefallen und können das Haus und den Vermieter nur weiterempfehlen!!!
Auch wir würden sehr gerne wiederkommen!!!
