Description
You will find the holiday house in the village of Cesseras, a small wine area halfway between Carcassonne and Narbonne.
The stone house from 1860 in 2011 expanded and renovated. It is decorated in a modern country style.

It is furnished with real images, with good dishes, all cooking utensils needed for extensive cooking, with a mix of old and modern furniture. Tourist information and a small hiking are ready for guests.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is located in an alley at the edge of the village of Cesseras. Be-andunloading can be found directly in front of the house, 50 meters away always find adequate parking.
After a few steps already the Mediterranean landscape begins with panoramic views of the city, the vineyards or the surrounding hills and mountains.
In neighboring vineyard quality wines. In the immediate vicinity, of course, live French, the other some residents. It's quiet, no traffic noise, from time to conversations in the street, the kindergarteners will pass .... southern French village life at the house up!
Cesseras is a typical wine village with still intact infrastructure. A small supermarket, the bar at the center of the village, a late Romanesque church, wineries, young people, families with children and of course old people and some holiday home owners (international) give a lively mix.
The bar 500 meters away is the meeting place for locals, residents, tourists and music lovers. There Saturdays small Life concerts, times chansons, sometimes guitar music, etc., not only in the summer months, but all year round. There is also free Wi-Fi is offered.
The nearby market town of Olonzac you will find a well-stocked supermarket, all kinds of shops and all services. You should not miss the "Tuesday Market". After market close to "tout Minervois" meets at the Cafe de la Poste.
The Canal du Midi 5 km away is a completely different little world ... boats pass by, cyclists use the old towpaths ...
Swimming, see the lake 'Lac du Jouarres' on the canal, beautiful even in the Cesse, or to the unspoilt beaches of Gruissan.
The famous Cathar castles are nearby. A visit to Minerve (15 km) one of the most beautiful villages in France is a special experience. Historically significant towns with medieval townscapes, invite you to stroll and linger. Good to very good restaurants, regionally produced foods make you want to cook it and Discover.
Fast (in 30 minutes) you can reach the city of Narbonne quierlige with the remains of the Roman period. A visit to the Market Hall (mornings only) and then the sea .... This could be your vacation.

Experience the almond blossom in early spring, in spring the magnificent views of the snow capped mountains of the Pyrenees, the warm summer nights on the roof terrace, the bustle in the grape harvest in September, the bright and mild winters ... Hike through the romantic gorge of the Cesse or to the mountain village Fauzan with great restaurant. The hiking trails start 200 meters away from the house.
Explore the megalithic tombs, the small Romanesque churches, the bistros in the village squares. Everything in the immediate vicinity!
The region deep in the south of France has retained its originality and still is not off-side. Highway access, good train and quickly accessible airports such as Beziers and Montpellier are another plus for a holiday in Midi.

Always beautiful
We fell in love with the Volets Blancs in 2019 and have now been here for the second time. Once again, we had a wonderfully relaxing holiday in this beautiful domicile. And since this year there is also Wi-Fi, which was very convenient for us

Come to rest
No mobile phone, no internet, an intact village, friendly neighbours, cosy house with good facilities and a terrace to enjoy. Shopping in the neighbouring village not problematic, as one is on the way anyway because of sightseeing and hiking. Good advance information from the landlady.

We felt very comfortable in the well-equipped and tastefully furnished house; art on the walls; everything furnished in white; very beautiful; rooftop terrace with views over the roofs and into the countryside; a good starting point for sightseeing.

Nice little stone house
Nice little stone house, comfortably furnished. Large roof terrace with a view of the church tower. Starting point for walks through the vineyards or up the mountain.
